Friday, January 27, 2012 up on January 26 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! DANCING IN THE DARK PART 1 - Professor Austin is hard at work at his desk when Abigail shows up. She shuts the door and explains she has to tell him something. She sits and blurts out she loves him. "What?" says he. She realizes he is married and there is that age difference ... Austin sits on his desk across from her. She bats her lashes and says she wants to be with him. Does he feel the same way? He lifts her chin and then kisses her on the lips. It gets passionate. "Hey!" says Austin. Abigail blinks back to reality, standing in his office. She confesses she is not sure how he will react to what she is about to tell him. He assures her she can tell him anything. She explains she started working for Madison James. He assumes she is quitting. No, but Madison asked if she would model for her. She wanted to check with him first. He thinks it is an amazing opportunity. Is her mom on board? She quips she does not need parental permission. He grins he does not think of her as a grownup, but Jack and Jen's little girl. She now becomes sullen. He is sorry he upset her. - Carrie arrives at the office, were Rafe is making a mess at his desk, trying to glue together a tiara for Sydney's birthday later. Sami was busy at a meeting. Carrie smiles she happens to be a tiara expert and gets to work! Rafe admiringly informs her his pal called her an angel cos the evidence was dropped against her son. Carrie now shows him the pink and purple tiara. "Perfecto!" he murmurs. He teases is there nothing she cannot do! They keep putting more tiaras together and he asks about her favorite birthday party as a child. She thinks it will sound superficial. It was a princess party with a pony and it was the last one her mom (Anna) threw for her. Rafe is sorry. She sadly states it proved she loved her. Rafe thanks her for making him realize all this is worth it. He now brings up Austin, then stops. She realizes he wants to know they do not have kids. They were too busy with careers and now the timing is not right. Rafe gets it. Ring ring! He gets a call that someone is sorry, curses, and hangs up when the call is done. Not good news! - At the house, Jen wants to go over the debate questions, but the mayor is preoccupied. He hates doing this! It feels like cheating. Jen quips EJ did it and he has no conscience. He cannot win! Abe asks if her source Jacobson is sure EJ is getting his questions delivered this afternoon. Yes, so now they just need to think of how to switch them. Jen is unable to reach her contact. Now what? Enter Lexie. Abe is surprised to see her. She sighs she just heard from EJ, who would like them to bring Theo to Sydney's last minute party at the mansion. Lexie assumes Abe will not wish to attend. He, however, gets a rather mischievous glint in his eye. Jen pushes him to go. Lexie wonders what Abe thinks. He notes it could be nice for Theo to be with his cousin. Lexie fears EJ will pull a fast one regarding the campaign so Jen offers to go too! - EJ chomps on his cigar and welcomes his favorite intern in the grand DiMera living room. Will notes he is his ONLY intern. EJ has a good laugh, then makes his request. Samantha has decided not to invite him to Sydney's birthday party. Will thinks he knows why. EJ pours himself a drink. He is therefore throwing a little party for Sydney at the mansion and he wants Will to bring her! He points out Sami and boss Kate are in Chicago until tonight. Will fears Sydney will tell her mom she saw him. He cannot do it. EJ refuses to accept his answer and insists that Sydney misses her fatha terribly. It would mean much to her to be with him and open some presents. Will admits she does talk about him but his mom would lose her mind. EJ drawls that is the whole idea. Will relents. He remarks EJ always gets what he wants! - Bo and Hope have summoned Stefano to the café, to hear them out. He asks Hope whether she will open the mysterious box or let the past rest in peace. Bo and Hope bring up the fact that there are two keys, so Alice could not have trusted him. The phoenix becomes sarcastic. Hope reasons he and Alice wanted the same thing to remain a secret. And she suspects he still wants it to be a secret.Stefano diverts his gaze and slowly shakes his head. He has nothing to hide, which is why he offered to open the box. Hope accuses him of trying to make her too nervous to open it. Bo watches. Stefano drawls he simply wants to protect her from what her grandmother did not want to subject her to. He refers to Hope as his art thief. Hope gets mad and warns she will not be used like those days again! She stands up and announces it is time to open the box. Stefano warns she is making a mistake. Hope advises him to stop hiding behind Alice. He grumbles she has no idea what she is doing. Those two secrets could destrrrrroy so many lives! Bo and Hope now realize there are TWO secrets, not just one! - At the mansion, EJ and colorful Nicole happily prepare for Sydney's party with balloons, food, and gifts. Nicole is surprised EJ is not worried about Sami, but thrilled at the prospect of spending some time with the child she will always think of as her own in her heart. He laughs and she jokes she will not kidnap her. Will now comes in with Sydney, who runs to daddy. He lifts her up and Nicole high fives her again and again. Will grins. The Carvers arrive. EJ thanks his sister for coming. She snaps she did it for the kids and walks off. Jen whispers to Abe the papers have not been delivered yet. Abe wishes they did not have to deceive Lexie. However, he cannot let EJ have control of the city. He must be stopped, no matter what it takes! - Kayla is decorating the pub for Sydney's official family party, when Carrie and Rafe make their dramatic entrance. They are in full costume, playing Prince Casper and Princess Miranda, since the actors could not make it. Kayla giggles she will get the camera for pictures. Rafe suspects he will never live this down! - At the mansion, Jen and Abe greet Will, but are stunned to hear he is now working for EJ. He is his campaign intern. Jen hopes he is kidding. Abe wonders why he did not come to him, for he would make room. Jen offers to get him a spot. Will nervously shrugs his shoulders and thanks them, yet he cannot. He would be unprofessional to leave team EJ now. - Lexie is beside EJ at the punch bowl. She asks where father is. He was unable to reach him. Lexie knows that must mean he is up to no good and how right she is! But Abe will be up to mischief on this day too ...! Read Part 2 - click here! |
