Dancing In The Dark - Part 2 - Back at the mansion, EJ admires his smiling daughter having fun and tells Nicole he wants her to be proud of him. He wants his children to have what he never did. Nicole quietly warns he could still lose his sister over the campaign. EJ realizes he forgot the camera in the other room and goes to get it. Ding dong! Jen gives Abe a nod ... Nicole soon places the envelope that was delivered in the top drawer of the cabinet with the statue. Jen whispers this to Abe. He decides it is now or never and walks off to do his dirty work! - Bo presses Stefano to tell them the two secrets. The phoenix explains that once upon a time, he had offered to repay Alice for the debt he owed her. She was not interested, though she kept the card. He admired her greatly and she was more clever than he ever imagined! A few years later, he went to see her again. He had found some information about her family and he knew Alice would never want it to go public. Alice responded by coolly stating she had something on him! There were at a stalemate until she came up with a compromise. "The safety deposit box," deduces Hope. Indeed. And so it came to pass that they locked the two secrets in the box. No one could ever see them as they each had one of the keys, both being required to open it. Alice never knew what he had on the family and he never knew what she had on him. Now, however, they must face a very dangerous dilemma ... - In Austin's office, he pleasantly acknowledges that Abigail is a grown woman who does not wish to be treated like a kid. She gratefully accepts his apology. He asks about the modeling gig. There is stuff to work out, yet there will be traveling involved. She will be going to Europe. He points out she has already seen much of the world. Abigail gushes she is mature. Austin is not sure what to say. - Kayla wants Rafe and Carrie to dance the way the characters do at the end of every episode of the children's TV show. She puts them together and the pair glide around the room, waltzing to Strauss! He twirls and dips her. Kayla giggles, then gets a call. She must go, as her son has a fever and the babysitter summoned her. Rafe and Carrie soon find themselves alone. They agree they are having fun. She thinks he is a wonderful dancer and he thinks she is on fire! He suggests they keep rehearsing for the party. And so they do ... The Austrian waltzes play loudly as Prince Rafe and Princess Carrie dance in each others' arms. He dips her and they continue tearing up the room, hand in hand, feet in step .... until she stumbles and starts to fall. He catches her in his arms. For a moment their eyes lock. He looks away. She gasps they have it down. He gasps they do indeed! - At the mansion, EJ takes pictures and proudly admires Sydney opening presents with Nicole. He feels this is very fun. Will quips just wait until his mom finds out! - Abe silently steals into the foyer, pulls the envelope from the drawer, and, his back turned, proceeds to replace the papers inside. EJ walks out and would like to know what exactly he is doing there. Abe freezes! - Meanwhile, Stefano warns Bo and Hope they should let sleeping dogs lie or else a beast could be awakened.
