| Tuesday, January 8, 2013 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THIS EPISODE WAS TWEETED ONE HOUR AHEAD BY DAYSCAFE :) PLAYING GOD - Replay of Chloe’s paternity miracle for Dan. He accuses her of playing a cruel trick. He is still dealing with the knowledge that Parker was not his but Chloe now claims she can prove otherwise. Dan shakes his head! He is not believing her! Chloe explains she and Phil had another DNA test done and the results say Phil is not the father, which means that he is. She will go down to her car to get it. Dan says to stop and reminds her of the earlier test. Chloe explains Caroline changed the report to say what it always said – that he is Parker’s father. The tampering was tampered with. Dan thinks she actually believes it is true. She laments he thinks she is crazy. Daniel patiently says no, then reminds her of her earlier depression. Is she after full custody? She insists that she is being true. He answers the knock at the door. Tis Kayla, who insists on seeing him. Chloe thinks she will be able to confirm the matter. Kayla nervously explains the truth they had assumed was the wrong truth. Thanks to Stephanie, she now knows that Parker IS his son. Dan wonders how that can be. Kayla shoves the printout at him, for that explains it all. - Henderson approaches cranky Victor as he crunches numbers at the mansion. The butler announces Phillip has just arrived with Parker, and it is urgent! - Nick strolls with supportive Maggie at the town square and they discuss his signing with Kate. He assures her it is legit. Maggie understands his desire to provide for Gabi and baby. She is happy if he is and is sure he will make a marvelous husband and father. Gabi arrives, hugs him, and readily agrees. Maggie is pleased that Nick has also asked Will to be the best man. She will see them tomorrow for the big day and flounces off. Gabi gushes she loves his Aunt Maggie. Nick regrets his parents will be unable to attend. Gabi assumes they are against them getting married. They get coffee and sit at a town square table together. He assures her that his parents are thrilled about their new grandchild. Gabi wishes she could have told her mom but she is not able to lie to her. And she is convinced she would be ashamed if she knew she was having one man’s baby yet marrying another. In fact, her aunt recently revealed that her mom is extremely unwell. Something as shocking as this might kill her! - Will is trying on his usual tuxedo as Sonny watches. He grumbles he does not know how to put on his bow tie. Sonny to the rescue! Will hopes he does not look dorky. Sonny, however, thinks he looks hot and kisses him. He then fixes the tie for him with a grin. Will chuckles he should take it off now. Sonny makes a joke about them having to go to the world’s smallest bachelor party. Will goes to change, apologizing for dragging him into it. Sonny tells himself at least Gabi will not be there! - Jen starts to leave for her date with Dan and refuses to listen to Lucas. She walks out the door, trips, and falls flat on her face. Lucas races to her side and calls her name but the widow is out cold! Lucas fishes her off the ground and brings her in, complaining to the just arrived Billie some idiot left a box out front. Billie is sorry she left that box for the hospital. Jen remains unconscious on the couch. They both try to make her wake up. She soon sits up and complains about tripping, then asks how she looks. She wants her purse and car keys. Billie and Lucas are concerned. Lucas wants her taken to the ER but Jen fears Dan must wonder where she is! Lucas feels she needs a doctor. She points out Daniel is a doctor. Lucas admits he disapproves of that man sleeping with Chloe while they were married. Billie offers to drive her to the hospital. Lucas grudgingly agrees, given that he is expected at Nick’s unconventional bachelor party. Jen now realizes she has a text from Daniel. Apparently he needs more time before she goes over. She wonders what she might have walked in on had she been on time. - Maggie returns to the mansion, where she find Victor sitting glumly alone. She had noticed Phillip‘s car. He grumbles his son and Parker are upstairs. The redhead wonders why the long face? - Sonny and Will are both casually dressed. They enter the coffee house for Nick’s bachelor party but he is nowhere to be seen. Chad and Cam find it funny they will be partying the night away with coffee. Chad quips Nick needs something stronger. Sonny points out Will is the best man and sarcastically asks if he should be buying him a gift. Will mutters he is already giving him enough … - Dan sits with Kayla, who explains that Steph was rather manipulative once upon a time and did not want Phil and Mel’s marriage to end. Her flunky Ian recently gave a detailed statement. She reads it as a flashback is shown of Ian hacking into the records, which indicated Daniel was the father. Once Ian had hacked in, Steph got a phone call. By the time Ian showed the name of the father, he has already altered it from Daniel to Phillip, and pretended that was what it had said. Dan wonders what his angle was. Kayla goes on to say he had a crush on her … it is all in the statement. But now Stephanie feels badly, as does everyone. He deserves to know the truth. “You are the father of Chloe’s baby!” - Nick insists the great life they are giving the baby is nothing to be ashamed of! Flaky Gabi now thinks she could at least tell her mom about them but leave out the part about Will or the baby. Nick stops her, convinced it would be a mistake. Gabi later gets off the phone with Rafe (unheard) and tells Nick that Rafe agreed, Nick was right. Any news of their relationship will have to come from brother Rafe the next time he visits mom. She teases him about his bachelor party. He laughs there will be four guys and lots of coffee. He will see her at the rehearsal. She smiles to have fun. He laughs about the fun part and walks off like a guy without a care in the world. - Lucas arrives at the coffee house. The party guests are to be Nick, Will, Sonny, and Lucas. Rafe was invited but had to work. Cam and Chad are amused bystanders. Lucas gathers Nick has few friends. Chad drawls they are all in prison. Lucas wonders when he got out – was it after Labor Day? Chad drawls Nick was released on September 10, the day he asked Mel to marry him! Cam suddenly excuses himself. Sonny wonders why. Will has no idea and calls Gabi, pretending he wants to know when Nick is coming. He quietly asks her who was the doctor she saw when pregnant. Cameron. Why? Will whispers he must have figured it out. He knows Nick is not the father! Gabi takes it all in and then goes to confront Cameron, unaware that she is about to seal her own fate ... - Jen is waiting in a hospital exam room with Billie for the results of her MRI. She should have gone to Daniel’s! Billie gets she likes him again. Jen admits it and is sorry she is a pain. Billie is sorry she put the box in her way. Jen laughs everything seems to be getting in their way, hence her impatience. - Maggie cannot believe it! Neither can Victor. Chloe is telling Daniel as they speak. They will need time to absorb this dramatic development. The redhead is sorry. Victor notes he will remain part of his life, yet Parker will no longer call him grandpa. He worries what this will do to Phillip, who is now putting him to bed, trying to say goodbye. He built his entire world around the boy. Maggie wonders how such a fiasco could have happened. Victor grumbles one word. “Chloe!” - Dan now accepts it as fact that the DNA results were tampered with. He is curious why the hacker came clean now. Reparations were a step in his recent rehab stint. Chloe tells them how tough it was for Phillip to accept. He wanted his own DNA test done. Dan stands up and asks Chloe why she did not come to him. She needed to know the absolute truth first and hands him the real DNA test. Dan opens it and reads Phillip has no genetic relationship to Parker. “So it’s true? Parker’s my son?” Chloe silently nods. Dan looks ready to break down. He has a request ... Read Part 2 of PLAYING GOD ...! |
