| Monday, January 7, 2013 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THIS EPISODE WAS TWEETED ONE HOUR AHEAD BY DAYSCAFE :) ON THE WARPATH! - Dan opens his door to Chloe and stares. She stares back with her baby blues. Dan demands to know what she is doing on his doorstep! She has something important to say and therefore must enter. He allows her in and wonders if she is in trouble. She smiles for a change she is fine. Then what is it? Chloe reminds him he once said their goodbye was not forever. He was right! And her return to Salem was meant to be. She announces something wonderful in nature has happened, then realizes he is expecting company and picks up the menu with a jealous frown. He snatches it back. Chloe soon learns his dinner date is Jennifer. She murmurs Jack died only recently and muses the fair widow does not want to be alone! Dan growls she happens to be his friend and this is not her business! Chloe apologizes for saying the wrong thing. She confesses being in what was once their home is harder than she had assumed and diverts her gaze. - Home alone, Abigail gets comfy on the couch with a glass of wine and toasts to her mom’s date. She opens a fashion magazine. Jen storms in, complaining her car went and died. Abigail hides the wine behind her back. Jen wants to know what she is concealing. When she perceives it is white wine, she deduces her daughter is bothered about something. Woman of the world Abigail denies it and proceeds to put the wine down. Fussy housekeeper Jen grabs it to stop her from placing it on the table without a coaster. For her efforts, she ends up getting wine spilled on her dress. She must now change her outfit and shoes and texts Daniel to let him know she is running a little late. - Still in his hospital room, John demands to know if Marlena knew for a fact his son was shacking up with Kristen! He implores her to tell him she did not know. She whispers but she did know. John falls back with a sigh. He is livid she did not think to tell him - his own father - about it! He points out she has been keeping secrets. The blonde laments she hated knowing what she knew and was torn about not being able to tell him. She could not bring herself to, then admits she knew Brady and Kristen were together when she sent him to his office. John wants to know how long she has been aware of their tawdry affair. He sits down in shock when she confesses about a month. She argues she did warn him to keep Brady away from that woman. John is enraged. She let that hellcat go after his grieving son! Marlena snaps he did not believe her that Kristen was a lying sociopath. He treated her like a hormonal woman on edge. And it thrilled Kristen that he acted like she was crazy! She accuses him of believing Kristen over her and making her out to be the villain. Teary-eyed John argues he did admit to her that he was wrong! Marlena felt she would have needed a photo of the pair. Her word alone would not have been enough for him! She adds she also might not have told him so as to protect herself and suggests he would have done the same! - In her brother’s hospital room, Sami is disgusted by the sight of Brady and Kristen fawning over each other like a bona fide couple. She takes a fit at Brady for being with Kristen the evil bitch. He must be using drugs again! Brady tightens his hold around his woman. Kristen wonders if they should call security. Brady growls to give them a moment alone so he can warn his sister never to talk to her like that again. Sami calls her a slut. Kristen insists she leave Brady alone but Brady assures her he will be fine. Kristen does not want him upset and kisses him before sweetly departing, woefully blaming herself for the family conflict. Sami rages he cannot be such a fool. Brady defiantly declares she is part of his life and he is fine with it. Sami refuses to listen and insists the sociopath is getting revenge on John by using him! Brady stares darkly. Out in the hall, Kristen places a call to Rose her manicurist for an appointment as she has chipped a nail. Inside, Brady accuses Sami of running off her mouth without the facts, like usual. She reminds him his ladylove tried to kill her mother. Brady boasts he was the one who made the first move and besides, John found them by accident. In addition, she has tried to end things due to the risks. Therefore, Sami’s conspiracy theory is wrong. Sami gets sarcastic, calling the pair of them Lady Macbeth and Bambi. She questions why he wanted to keep their relationship a secret if he is so comfortable and exits. Out in the hall, she advises Kristen not to dare hurt her family. She knows the truth and Brady might be clueless, but soon the town will know how evil she is! Kristen reminds her of her own misdeeds. What kind of girl would try to sell her own sister’s baby? Sami snaps and imagine what she would do to someone who was not family! She is convinced Kristen is done for. Brady may be an easy prey for a slutty bitch, but the cat is out of the bag so she is done for! Kristen warns her not to mess with a DiMera, then makes light of it all, claiming she does not want to fight. She offers to defend her to Brady and boasts she could be family soon, thus becoming Aunt Kristen to her kids. Sami gapes as Kristen smugly waltzes off. - Caroline and Kayla are finishing a coffee together at the pub. Caroline complains about forgetting someone’s name. Kayla gives her a pep talk and explains she forgets things sometimes too. Caroline is still on her meds. Kay praises her for doing great and they hug. Caroline pretends to forget what they were discussing and walks away laughing. Kayla now gets an unexpected call from daughter Stephanie (unseen/unheard). “Oh my God!” the chief of staff gasps in horror. - Dan reads Jen’s text and notes she will be late. He asks Chloe to take a breath and relax and offers her some wine. She tensely states she will be fine. He encourages her to spit it out. Meanwhile, Jen is at Horton house wearing a new outfit and new, albeit uncomfortable pair of shoes. She opens the door to Lucas, who announces he needs her and walks in! Back at the apartment, Chloe laments this is complicated and also simple. She mentions having the chance to make things right and recalls their special relationship. Dan would rather not go there but she does anyway. She believes something inside them died when they were over. Dan is confused and annoyed at the same time. - Kristen returns to Brady’s room and helps him finish getting dressed. He complains about Sami the unreasonable. Kristen starts to analyze the options they have but he just wants to go once she has zipped up his boots. She wonders if he wishes to see his father first. Brady shakes his head and says no, a possessive arm on her back as they depart together. - John insists he would not have done the same as doc. She regrets how he found out and is sorry he fought with Brady. However, she is not sure she is sorry she was not the one to tell him. John concedes he may have been rather unfair, yet he suspects there is another reason she did not spill the beans. He waits for her to enlighten him about what else she is not saying. Just then Sami storms in and complains about Kristen. She insists they must stick together. John peers at Marlena, his eyes filled with mistrust. - Kayla has a printout in hand as she assures her shocked daughter on the phone that she has done the right thing. She will deal with this and call her tomorrow. Caroline asks what happened. Kayla explains that Stephanie wanted to set things straight and she was right to do so. This is gonna be HUGE ...!
