Rafe snaps it is not his business but EJ insists it is very much his business if it relates to Sami or Will. He understands about family but refuses to let Rafe threaten Sami. Rafe wonders if he really wants to go there. Sami quips she is sure they can handle this. Like she handled Gabi? scoffs Rafe. He accuses her of turning on his sister. EJ argues that Samantha is going thru hell too and urges him to man up and show some compassion, how about some respect? Rafe stares in disbelief. Sami appears pleased. Rafe accuses her of showing no respect or compassion for his kid sister. EJ explains that Samantha was lied to for months and this affects her family profoundly. His sista is carrying her grandchild. Sami sighs up hearing the word grandchild. EJ notes she was almost deprived of said grandchild. Rafe exclaims Will wanted to deprive her. EJ now warns him that William has since changed his mind! Rafe points out Gabi and Will are in love with other people and Will loves a guy. Sami assures him she did not think Gabi and Will would end up together. Rafe grumbles she is thinking only of what she wants and is making this about her, just like always. - At the pub, Gabi tries to smooth things over with Will. She is sorry she and Will did not talk since the nonwedding and then there was his mom. Nick does not approve of Sami’s attack but Gabi understands. Nick is royally miffed she wants to be part of the baby’s life and hopes it is only an idle threat. He declares nothing has changed. Will points out everyone knows. Nick claims the agreement has not changed. He and Gabi are the sole parents. Will mutters everyone knows he is the father. Gabi agrees they should not pretend. Nick now brazenly suggests they make things legal and Will give up his parental right forever! Will stares. “Are you kidding me?” He calls him a cold son of a bitch. Nick calls it irrelevant that it is his biological child. Will talks DNA. Nick says to be rational. Will calls him INSANE. Nicks quietly warns him not to call him that. Ever! Will calmly asks what makes him think he would do anything else. Nick claims he only wanted to give up the baby to keep his boyfriend. Will explains he had convinced himself it was best for the baby. But now everyone knows and the baby will know. Why can Nick not comprehend that changes things? He waits for Gabi to back him up but is met with silence. Nick sarcastically suggests he is only pretending to care about the baby to pacify his relatives. Gabi reminds him Will was already concerned before the truth came out. Nick argues Will being around would be too confusing for the baby. Now Will gets sarcastic. Nick notes if not with Sonny, he will still be with some guy. “Do we really want this baby to be raised by one mommy and three daddies?!” he blurts out. - Chad thanks Sonny for the numbers at the coffee house and admits he could have handled the wedding fiasco better. Sonny gives him a dark look. “Ya think?” Chad repeats he had no inclination that Will was the baby daddy. Sonny glumly notes at least he is no longer in the dark. They seem to be good again and Chad goes off to the next stop on his apology tour. Sonny tries to get back to work until … Mama Adrienne races in, up in arms, but Sonny would rather not discuss his boyfriend of whom she never approved! He has not returned her numerous calls and she is very worried. In fact, Adrienne is very upset that Will lied to him. At least now he knows Will is the baby’s father. She assumes they are through and Sonny explains he loves Will, asked him to move in, and the whole time he was lying to him. Can she even imagine how that makes him feel! Adrienne reminds him that Will lied about being a father and what kind of man … Sonny snaps to stop torturing him! She just wants him to be alright. Sonny sighs and rubs his forehead, wondering if she feels vindicated in her earlier belief that Will was wrong for him. Mama Adrienne insists this is only about how she cares for him. Sonny suspects she wanted to make sure he would not reconcile with Will. She insists she is sad and adds he deserves better. Sonny has never felt worse, says so, and walks away. - Abigail flounces into the hospital and asks nurse Maxine if Cameron is on duty. Indeed. Maxine teases it is a shame the man is single. Abigail innocently asks about Emily. They are history! Maxine advises the chil’ to try and keep up cos things happen fast around here. Cam appears and grins at pretty Abigail. It is good to see her. She says the same and thanks him for sticking up for her to Chad, then poses a question. The other day he was about to tell her something about Emily … Cam explains they are not all that anymore. She assumes they broke up. He teases does she need a diagram? Maxine now reminds the busy young doctor that he has a sonogram appointment with Gabi. Chad appears and announces they must settle some things. Cam suggests he take responsibility for what he did. What could they therefore have to settle? - Rafe reminds Sami that she callously shuffled Will between her life and Lucas’ for years. He warns Johnny and Sydney will turn out equally mixed up. EJ angrily insists William is not mixed up and Johnny and Sydney will turn out fabulously as their parents love them. “GET OUT!” he thunders. Rafe leers he will not stand by and allow Sami to ruin his sister's baby's life. When he exits, upset Sami covers her face with her hands. - Will and Nick stare each other down. Gabi steps in front of Nick, who suddenly changes his tune and pretends he is sorry. “I care soooo much about this baby.” Will reminds him he is the father and he cares too. Nick is sorry for insulting him. He wanted to see how Will felt about the baby. Will warns they cannot do things this way. Nick decides they should therefore do it legally. Gabi reminds him she must get to her appointment. Nick lies it is about her college courses with the dean and removes his pub apron. He advises Will to do some thinking, but Will has already made up his mind. He announces he is never giving up custody of his child. Nick airily states it is good to know and exits with his girl. - Nicole runs into raging Rafe at the town square and teases him about being steamed. She suspects Sami. He drawls she is right and she outdid herself this time, along with new cheerleader EJ. Nicole takes him by the hand and drags her pal off for a pep talk. - Sami is in tears. EJ explains Rafe is simply trying to protect his sista’s agenda and is unfairly using Sami as a scapegoat. She is an emotional wreck from all the tongue lashings she has gotten, including from Will. EJ assures her William is not angry with her, just confused. Sami shares her worries about Will having to be a father while being a college student and gay and single. She worries Gabi and Nick could marry and argue their case for custody. EJ proudly informs her that he has already retained the best custody lawyer for her boy. She smiles thank you. He teases she has had enough excitement for one day and decides to take her home. - Chad is determined to make things right with Cam. It is what Lexie would want. Cam suspects he only really regrets things did not go as per his plan. Nothing can justify what he did! Chad growls Gabi is sick. Cam continues. Lexie would be ashamed of his behavior, just as he is. Chad gets mad he is on his moral high horses. Cam counters he is a vindictive bastard and what he did to the young couple is totally unforgivable. He will never be able to make it right with him either! He gets back to his hospital duties, leaving Chad standing alone. - Will slowly enters the coffee house and stares at Sonny, who looks up from his table. No smile. Will smiles faintly and approaches, whispering hi. “I …” Sonny impatiently wonders what. Will adds he really misses him. He sits across the table and gets he does not want to see him but he cannot imagine his life without him. He begs for another chance. Sonny snaps that depends. Can he give him an explanation why he lied to him the whole time about getting his ex-girlfriend pregnant? Can he give him a good reason? Will confesses he feared he would lose him. - Nicole and Rafe saunter through the majestic town gate and past some evergreens. She is sympathetic that EJ is using this situation to get Sami back. Rafe grumbles “Let him. He can have her!” He bore witness to her real side when she attacked his sister and it is a nightmare! Nicole muses she has never heard him speak this way about her. Rafe declares she was cruel to his sister so it is over and done between them. - At the town square cafe , EJ charmingly offers Sami a hot drink. She thanks him for the support. EJ reminds her that she and William are very important to him, kisses her head, and adds she will be fine telling Lucas what she must too. Sami nervously starts to text Lucas, then gets an unexpected interruption by Adrienne, who announces they are going to talk now if she likes it or not! She sits down at her table, her eyes blazing. Sami complains it has been a hard time and warns her not to say anything negative about her son or she will take her down! Adrienne will only say her son is devastated. Sami is sorry for that but reasons Will did his best in a tough situation. Adrienne questions if he really had to lie, as now Sonny’s heart is broken! Sami suggests he will get over that heartbreak with time, whereas Will has to deal with a child for the rest of his life. He is in college, gay, about to lose the man he loves, and he is about to be a father. His problems are more than Sonny’s. Adrienne has no reply. - At the hospital, Gabi does not understand why Nick wanted Will left out of the sonogram appointment. He admits he was afraid that seeing the baby would affect Wills decision. THEY are the ones who are raising this baby and should therefore share these special moments, with no one else. Gabi seems satisfied with the explanation. - Will reminds Sonny that he once told him he wanted to travel, that he was not read to be tied down with kids. Sonny notes he wanted to travel with HIM. Besides, he cannot predict how he would have reacted. He might have bolted but he might have also stepped up to the challenge. Now they will never know, since Will lied instead of sharing the truth. He stands up and petulantly walks away. Will sighs. Abigail approaches and asks if he is alright. She is very sorry and is also surprised he is not at the hospital.
