Episode 12,016 - Rafe is eating his hearty pub breakfast when special agent Johnny comes running over. Rafe wishes Caroline a good morning too and she jokes she has yet to have a coffee. Johnny helps himself to some of Rafe’s bacon and shares that he and his sister had a sleepover as mommy had to do something! Rafe takes it all in. Johnny asks about a badge and Rafe admits he no longer works for the FBI but will do his best. He wonders what Johnny’s mommy had to do last night. Caroline walks up to pour coffee and immediately asks Johnny to go get the vitamins. Johnny first shares a secret with Rafe, that mommy said he would soon be spending more time with them. He excitedly runs off for the vitamins. Caroline plops herself down across from Rafe and admits she had assumed Sami would be with him last night! Rafe hopes it was not tiring to look after the kids. She mentions Kayla helping. Rafe now finds out Ally was with Lucas and realizes Sami was not with him. He flashes back to finding her with EJ and gets glum. Confused Carline wants to know what exactly is going on. - Meanwhile, love struck EJ admires Sami sleeping. She wakes up and teases that was kinda creepy. He calls himself lucky and she echoes the sentiment. He wants to make a deal - that they not screw this up this time around. Sam kisses to that deal! They kiss in their bliss again. Sami insists this is not like before. She has no scheme or agenda and is thinking of today, not tomorrow. EJ thinks that is a deal and wants to seal that one too. Sami was counting on it. They give into their morning passion under the sheets without any interruption. - Abigail is pretty in pink polka dots at Horton house. She cannot conceal her surprise that mama Jen is at home and not at the lodge. Prim ponytail Jen mutters about Chloe interrupting and then notes her daughter is cutely dressed for morning. Ding dong! Tis Dr. Cam bearing flowers and a goofy grin. Jen approves of the young doctor in love. Abigail has to get her coat. He will meet her outside as he must check in with the hospital. Jen helps Abigail with her stylish red coat and teases they are dating. Abigail points out it is only breakfast. She is relieved he is talking to her again. She will not rush into anything. She adds she is sorry about Jen’s date and departs. Jen closes the door and sighs she is sorry too. - Shirtless Nick is staring at the news article about Lucas from once upon a time. He knows he needs actual proof that Will shot EJ. Gabi stirs and he joins his fiancée in bed for a kiss. - Brady caresses Kristen and admires her as the bright morning sunshine streams in. She gushes it is nice waking up together. If they were married ... Brady teases she already made that joke and gets a strange look when she confesses it is no joke! He feels it is out of character for the girl he knows to hold marriage in high regard. She credits him with changing her unconventional thinking and smiles a crooked smile.”So what do you say? Let’s get married!” Brady explains he loves her but it would be too soon. Marlena and John would assume he is just trying to stick it to them and he would rather try and work things out with them. That picture naturally includes his beloved Kristen. But he does not want to alienate them. Kristen sighs she knows all this turmoil is because of her and agrees. - EJ marvels it feels like he and Samantha have been together foreva. Sami reminds him of all their public discord. She now suggests they not yet let others know they have reconciled, to give them time to prepare for the backlash. EJ points out their kids would be elated and reminds her she claimed not to care what others felt last night. Sami meant it at the time but admits she does indeed care how people will react. They stare at one another, her leg draped comfortably over him. - Nick feels the baby kicking under the blanket and gushes to Gabi they will be parents soon. Gabi feels better now that the truth has come out and is happy their baby has so many who love her, especially Nick. Nick suddenly realizes he must go and pick up a letter Jen wrote him for his parole officer. He sits up and turns around … Gabi gently touches the scar on his back and wonders how he got it cos it looks very sexy. Nick freezes and remembers a sinister voice, warning him he should know what happens to snitches! - Inexperienced Abigail and man of the world Dr. Cam have their happy breakfast at the outdoor café. Before they order she has something to say but he notes he probably already knows what it is about. - Rafe excuses his down demeanor to Caroline as he is not a morning person. Caroline hopes he will not let what happened at the wedding come between him and Sami. Rafe laments Sami attacked his sister and some things one cannot ever forgive! Caroline reminds him she is a protective mother. Rafe quips Will was not thinking protection in the first place. This time Sami went too far and he cannot go there again. Caroline whispers if he does not go there, then surely he realizes who will … - Gabi notices Nick is overreacting about the scar but he insists it was the result of an inconsequential accident. He declares he would rather focus on the future, which looks bright, and heads off for his meeting with his parole officer. - Sami and EJ are holding hands in bed. She sighs she worries how Kristen would use this information about them to hurt her mother. EJ sees her point. He charmingly suggests they call a truce about Kristen or better yet, not discuss her at all! Sami exclaims they cannot not talk about his crazy sister. EJ groans and laughs they are already fighting again.Sami thinks Kristen remains an issue. He admits the situation with Brady is a tad uncomfortable. She calls it grotesque. He reminds her Kristen let him have the job that got him close to her but Sami will not budge. They grin about things being different, as they agree to disagree, and get back to celebrating their love. - Shirtless Brady assures Kristen that marriage would not change how he feels about her. In fact, if ill timed, it could even ruin his chances with his family. She understands and explains she is sentimental, she cares about him. He kisses her and steps into the bathroom to shower. Kristen the vixen is up for the challenge and vows she will make him beg to marry her in no time! - Nick arrives at Horton house and is most grateful for Jen writing a letter on his behalf. She praises his progress and is sorry about the wedding. He laughs an odd laugh that no one will stop them this time when they wed in a few weeks! - Caroline tries to occupy excited little Johnny. Gabi comes downstairs and is pleasantly surprised to see Rafe at his breakfast table. He hopes she slept alright and notes Sami should not have spoken to her so harshly. Gabi insists she does not want to get in the way of their relationship. Rafe drawls there is no relationship! She presses him about it. He admits he called Sami out on how badly she treated her and let her know he would not stand for it. - Now suited EJ has summoned Kristen to a meeting at the coffee house. He thanks her for the quarterly reports, then makes an announcement. “Samantha and I are back together.” She teases he looks like he has not slept. The hard work paid off. He adds he owes her big time. She nods in agreement. - Sami runs into Brady outside and he complains about her messages against Kristen. He suggests she get her affairs with Rafe in order before passing judgment on him. Sami quips they are done because of Gabi. Brady cannot believe Sami is alone again but she blurts out she is not alone, she is with EJ … She stops. Brady is incensed. “You’ve lost your freaking mind!” - Abigail teases that Cam must be clairvoyant like his mother. He just thinks she has no reason to apologize for her behavior, as she had just lost her father, him his sister. Perhaps they should just focus on the moment and see what happens. Abigail takes his hand and praises him for being so nice. She agrees and grins. "Let’s see what happens.” He grins back at her, - Jen sits with Nick and notes it is good he still wants to get married. The family was worried about him. Nick appreciates how they supported him and is glad his daughter will be born into their family. “Your daughter?” asks shocked Jen. Delusional Nick happily insists he and Gabi are still having a daughter and what happened at the wedding changes nothing. Jen patiently suggests things are moving too quickly. He is getting into a complex situation. Jen worries his thoughts are black and white, in part due to what happened. She mentions what Julie also told with her – that a year ago he was attacked in prison. Nick suddenly implores her not to tell Gabi about the attack as that part of his life is over!
