He can therefore work things out with Sami. Rafe drawls it will never happen! Gabi does not want to be responsible and points out she was lying to her for months about her grandchild. Sami is protective of Will. Pregnant Gabi suggests Rafe therefore give her another chance. Rafe starts to say Sami ended it when she decided to be with ... then stops himself. He stands up, reminds his sis to look after herself and his little niece, and departs. EJ muses Kristen was right that the way to get to Samantha was via work. She changes the subject fast when he brings up Brady. She wonders whether fatha knows about him and Samantha. Not yet. They are keeping their love a secret for now. He gets back to the topic of Kristen. She purrs she is happy and someday soon will be even happier! EJ chuckles about the DiMeras actually dating anyone connected to John Black. He has much to do before it all hits the fan and takes his leave. Kristen teases to get some sleep. Once alone, she tells herself that thanks to Marlena, she knows how to step things up in this war! Brady expresses his dismay that people are bashing him for sleeping with his almost stepmother, whereas Sami is sleeping with a man she herself tried to kill. Things were more normal with Rafe. Sami calls sleeping with Kristen a grim fairy tale. Brady reminds her EJ kidnapped her baby and switched her then husband Rafe with an imposter. “Are you kidding me!” Sami concedes the path has been troubled but then accuses him of destroying John and Marlena’s relationship. He states they are responsible for their own situation, their own behavior. Sami snaps if he believes that, then he must be even more selfish than she is! Abigail and Cam have had an enjoyable breakfast together. He is paged to the hospital and invites her to a movie sometime. She blushes it would be great to go on a date. He kisses her and explains he will be in touch. Her eyes mirror her insecurity for a brief moment. Brady leers what a breakthrough that Sami has actually admitted she is selfish. She thinks they should agree to disagree, then asks for a favor. She implores Brady not to tell Eric or Marlena about her and EJ, for she must eventually do so herself. He agrees and sighs it is not as if he talks to them much anymore. She is sympathetic that he too is now alienating members of their family, bids him a friendly goodbye, and leaves. Brady now gets a text from Kristen and wonders. Nick thanks Jen for the letter, they exchange I love yous, and he exits. He pauses outside the door and flashes back to the unseen sinister inmate warning him he knew what happened to snitches.Out of breath Nick was teary-eyed, his fist weak, as he said he understood. Brady arrives at Kristen’s room and she has big news. He already knows Sami and EJ are together. They are amused Sami swore EJ to secrecy and then blurted out the big secret so fast. Kristen now gets a glint in her eye about people not needing to know all things. Brady realizes she means they could get married and keep it a secret. Kristen’s eyes shine brightly at the notion. Outside the pub, papa EJ crouches down to fasten Johnny’s coat and asks if he had a pleasant visit with his great grandma. He did indeed and notes daddy looks happy. EJ grins he had a wonderful day and walks off with his son. Rafe is standing alone, texting by a tree. Sami comes along. He scoffs and proceeds to walk away. She, however, suggests they should talk. Rafe glares at her as she shrugs her shoulders, unaware that he has already figured out her new secret … END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Sami insists Will get a paternity test done. Brady continues to turn down Kristen’s offer of marriage but she is not giving up! |
