Episode 12,022 It is morning in Salem, land of scandal and secrets … - Brady is lying in bed next to Kristen, who hides under the covers, claiming to be ashamed she got drunk the night before. She moans she was disgusting in an attempt to generate pity from her unsuspecting Romeo. He assures her he loves her and she was not disgusting. She pops her head out and accuses him of lying. Brady is baffled. Kristen gets dressed and laments he is keeping something from her, hence the liar label. Yesterday he admitted there was another reason he had for not marrying her … Brady now dismisses that as a reaction to her drunken state. He must go and promises to discuss later. He jumps out of the bed. Kristen pouts. - Dan wakes up to happy Parker tossing toy blocks at his daddy, a smile on his impish toddler face. The medicine man checks for a fever. Gone! Mama Chloe returns to the room, having bought papa Dan a brand new programmed cell phone. He asks how she managed to get all his data on it. Chloe boasts she just told the telephone company that she was his wife. Dam looks stunned. She explains she knew he had to be up and running, that’s all. She remembered his social security number and the fact that he never changes his password. Things have not changed. He remarks they sure have changed since those days but thanks her regardless. He checks the phone and frowns. She wonders if he is missing any important data. Err …not really … - Meanwhile Jen the missing data has summoned Hope to Horton house. She places her hand melodramatically on her blonde head and laments she has made a mess of things with Dan! Hope munches a chocolate cookie as Jen tells her the whole story. Hope thinks she should adopt a wait and see policy. Jen decides to call the hospital about the message she left for Dr. Jonas and the nurse on duty explains he has picked his messages up. Hope assures her he is probably still with Parker. Jen fears he is still angry with her. Hope airily advises her not to assume anything, but talk to him in person. Jen is grateful for the advice. After the pep talk, Hope must go. Jen is grateful and refers to her cousin as her guardian angel. - Lucas and Will rendezvous at the town gate to report on their progress. Will informs him T is innocent of sending the text message. What about the phone? Lucas grumbles it was totally untraceable. They should go backwards and consider only the facts … Lucas still suspects Nick. Will disagrees. Who would do this? Lucas notes the only people who know the truth are Stefano, EJ, Sami, and Lucas. As far as they know, that is. Meanwhile, diabolical Nick listens to their conversation on the laptop computer on his bed. Gabi unexpectedly opens the door and says that sounded like Will’s voice. What was he listening to? Nick turns around with a start. - Kate wakes up in a strange bed with a hangover. She realizes she is nekid under the sheets then sees a buff man draped over the other side. His face is not visible but she knows who it is. She sits up and gasps about their tryst. “Oh my God!” She hastily starts to put her clothes on. Rafe turns over and opens his eyes. She says good morning. He takes a deep breath and grins a wicked grin. - Will insists it was not Nick. He could not possibly have known he shot EJ. Lucas now suggests EJ might be the culprit. He might be trying to play the hero to get his mom back. Will suddenly remembers Sami and hopes Lucas did not say anything to her about this! Negative. She would only make things worse! Lucas now shows him the text message again. It says someone knows Will shot EJ. However, there was no mention of evidence so there probably is not any. They have nothing. Will reasons the police have the evidence, and all this person needs is to do is go to them, give his name. Lucas believes this person just wants to cause trouble by rattling him. Will wonders why they would want to do that. - Nick shuts his laptop, lies he was playing with his new speech software, then remarks his beloved Gabi does not look well. She is admittedly tired from not sleeping, which was why Caroline ordered her off her feet. She lies on the bed, worried about the impending paternity test. He assures her it will work out for them. He now lets her know he has not been sincere with team Will. He just thinks it is best Will believes they are on his side. However, he is not as he does not approve of this test. Gabi concludes Sami is pushing Will to do it. However, Nick suggests it could be Sonny pushing Will. Gabi flashes back to Sonny’s warning that he is now watching her and she blanches. Nick notices. - At the nurse’s station, Dr. Dan asks the nurse if there might be any additional messages for him. Nope. He appears surprised. Kayla is glad Parker is good to go. Chloe has an idea. She knows Daniel was supposed to have Parker but she wants to see him too, being a concerned mother, so she will spend a few hours at his place and then Dan will get the rest of the day. It is going to be purrfect. - Rafe and Kate talk. All he remembers is they were drinking and … She wants to make a graceful exit but he puts a hand on her leg and murmurs to wait. Kate thinks it is not necessary to rehash the night. Rafe seems to like what he sees of her. She teases he does not remember. He grins he did not say that. She notes they are adults and calls last night a mistake. - Chloe gets comfy at Dan’s apartment with Parker. The medicine man has a few errands to run, including returning Brady’s phone to him, and promises to be back soon. Moments later, there is a knock at the door. Chloe opens the door to Jen, who stares. This is clearly not Daniel! - Kristen gets a call from Stefano, with wonderful news. His work in Europa is almost finished and he should be home soon! He notices her foul mood and muses it must be the spawn of John Black giving her grief. She does not deny it. - Dan meets Brady to return his phone at the town square. Brady asks what is troubling him. Jen! - Jen politely asks Chloe if Dan is home. No. She asks how Parker is. Well, but they are concerned and therefore both want to be with him today. Jen understands. She thinks she should go but Chloe claims they have something to discuss. Now. - Nick wants to know what Gabi is so worried about. She will only say she is afraid they will take her baby away. He points out the only problem for the court could be her ex-con husband. He promises he will not cause her to lose her baby. In fact, he is already taking care of business ... He kisses her and departs. - Lucas assures anxious Will that these could be empty threats. Will laments he tried to kill someone. Lucas points out it was EJ DiMera and many wanted him dead. Will now regrets that his father took the heat for him. Lucas thinks he is a good kid, a good man, and will be a good dad. He deserves a break. Will is hoping to be a good dad. Lucas is convinced he will be! - Kate asks nekid Rafe if he feels they were a mistake. He is not sure how to answer, then chuckles about their conversation. Diva Kate, however, would rather reminisce with her clothes on. He laughs about the stairs they were on last night, then drawls there is no need for her to go. She assumed they agreed it was a mistake. Rafe teases she was putting words in his mouth and takes her by the hand, his eyes filled with desire. “What the hell!” exclaims Kate and they kiss passionately, pulling the sheets over them to shade them from the realities of the day.. - Kristen complains that Brady is keeping something big from her. The phoenix advises her to keep her eye on what she wants and not act like a spoiled wife or mistress. Eye on the prize! Kristen is miffed there is this mystery and vows to solve it, then break Brady’s heart. Stefano is pleased. She wonders if he really wants to come back to Salem since no one likes him. And then there is Kate … Stefano rages that one is old news and he does not even think about HER anymore! - After their love fest, Kate and Rafe both say WOW. Rafe teases that must be the second mistake. Kate is elated but gasps they could end up on opposite sides. Rafe reminds her that she said last night there would be no sides with Gabi and Will. She laughs she did say that. He adds she also promised to help him with Sami. She agrees to talk to her, though she has her doubts, and solemnly warns him to keep an eye on Nick. She has a bad intuition about Nick Fallon. Rafe considers. Kate sits up fast and gets a tad dizzy. But then she is fine, and thanks him. He admires the view as she climbs out of bed carrying her clothes. He tells her where the deadbolt key is. Kate teases she is surprised he trusts her. He quips he does not and is moving as soon as she leaves. He stares in admiration as she exits. - Nick shows up at Detective Hope’s office and announces that Gabi is stressed, due to Sami’s insistence that they get a paternity test. Hope is surprised as they all know Will is the father. Nick points out the paper trail is all part of Sami’s plan, for she intends to push Will to go for custody! - Rafe knocks on Gabi’s door and calls her name. She opens the door and explains she was resting. He had assumed she was working. She sighs she was tired. He wants to know what is troubling her. She hopes he will not freak out. He shuts the door and urges her to tell big brother. Gabi laments he was right. Sami is coming after her! He is not so sure and then his sister mentions EJ. Rafe realizes lawyer EJ might be helping her build a case and wants to confront them. Gabi implores him not to, for any run-in he has with Sami only makes things worse. Rafe suspects he started this and decides he knows exactly the person to talk to … - Meanwhile, Will gets a mysterious package … Read Part 2 of Expect It + Spoilers ...! |
