When You Least Expect it Part 2 Chloe accuses Jen of cruelty for lying to Daniel … Jen notes she lied to Chloe, not Daniel, but Chloe has lied to Daniel more than once. Chloe calls her paranoid. Jen warns her she knows about the child services note and then some. She and Anne went to the club where she thought she would find her and Dan. Chloe denies it. Jen explains this will not help her get Daniel back. Chloe has heard enough, tells her to go, and shuts the door. Jen turns to leave just as Dan steps out of the elevator. Their eyes lock. Brady comes back to Kristen’s place with a declaration. He does love her. But she was right …. There is a reason he cannot marry her other than John and Marlena and he has not told her everything. Jen smiles she just wanted to make sure Parker was alright. But Dan wonders if that was the only reason. She thinks it must be obvious. Dan is not sure what she means. Before they can elaborate, Parker cries. Jen suggests he go be with his son, mentions Chloe being there, and gets in the elevator. Dan watches the door close with a woeful sigh. Hope closes her door and is not pleased it has come to this. She assures Nick the Hortons will stand behind him. He is a good man. Nick notes it is different in family court and worries about what counts as evidence. Whatever the judge decides. Nick is curious about using a tape recording as evidence … Hope replies it would be allowed as evidence if the judge felt it was relevant to the case in question … Will sits on the town square couch and looks at his mail. Other than a few envelopes, there is a package addressed to him at Salem University. He opens the parcel, which contains a black box with a gold ribbon, as well as a card. He is not sure what to make of it … Jen asks the nurse at the nurse’s station if Dan got all his messages. Yes and he read them before throwing them out. Kayla happens along and Jen shares her distress that she fears Daniel will never forgive her for the mistake she made … Dan is about to call Jen on the new phone when Chloe appears and compliments Parker’s room. The crying was only the result of the boy wanting his choochoo. Chloe is pleased to see he remembered his cherry juice. Dan invites her to enjoy the rest of the groceries he got and takes the juice to his son. Chloe muses she will be here a while longer … Brady wants Kristen to sit and sighs she deserves the truth. “I can’t marry you!” He has his reasons but it will not change. He cannot EVER marry her! Kristen stares in shock and waits for him to explain ... END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Chad gets some Valentine’s Day advice.
