She sits with her man John on the sofa, elated to have him home with her. John wonders how Carrie and Rafe pulled it off. Marlena coos all that matters is he is home. "That's a fact!" roguishly drawls John. Marlena has been hoping ... Him too! Knock knock knock! They suspect there must be Christmas carolers at their door, but tis young Will wishing them a Merry Christmas. John invites him in. Will does not want to interrupt. Marlena asks him to stay for supper, as Maggie had sent over a lot of food - more than they need. Will agrees to stay as John grins and Marlena gives him a bear hug. They soon play a game and Marlena learns from winning Will that zombify really is a word. John laughs. Marlena thanks Will for including them in the wedding vows renewal. Will makes a comment that Sami did not care about her renewals anyway and calls her a hypocrite. John suggests they change the subject. Will bitterly continues. Sami did not forgive her mother even. Marlena thinks she still deserves a second chance. Will angrily disagrees and then gets back to the game. - Rafe the again groom carries his again bride Sami into the loft, which is romantically decorated and lit with candles. Sami is amazed. Rafe drawls he is the luckiest guy in the whole world to have her love and kisses her passionately. He gets them a glass of champagne. Sami thinks the place looks perfect and thanks him for getting into the spirit. He murmurs he would marry her every day if it made her happy. They wish each other Merry Xmas in Spanish and she calls him the most wonderful husband in the world. They kiss passionately. Sami soon emerges wearing in a black negligee she bought for the occasion. Rafe calls her thoughtful and beautiful. They get close and she starts to remove his shirt. Rafe remarks it is their wedding night so they should save the best for last, not rush things. Sami recalls how wonderful their vows today were. Rafe points out marriage is about commitment. She sighs she is sorry she is not easy to be married to. Rafe grins being married to her is the best and they kiss again. - At the house, Bo struggles to repair a pretty pink bicycle he accidentally broke. Hope is amused and asks how it is progressing. Bo groans and puts on a brave face."Easy peasy." Hope teases he will not have it ready for Ciara tomorrow morning. He is unable to do it. Hope calls in a favor so they can get Ciara an assembled bike. This will be her first one without training wheels! Hope gets their contact to agree to help and they are soon on their way to pick up an assembled bike. - Brady and Madison are celebrating their own Christmas together in her room. She as a surprise for him - she bought him a star, after he told her of the one he thought his mother was. He is moved and kisses her. She thinks things are awesome. They kiss and she now wants her gift. Brady hands her a pretty box. She shakes it and giggles like a kid. She now opens the picture he managed to find and frame - of herself as a girl with her mom. She had feared the photo was lost forever and thanks him with an emotional hug, then cries. Brady admits he just dropped the Kiriakis name and that got things moving. She was afraid she would forget what her mom looked like. Brady notes she was beautiful and she adored her too. Madison wistfully remembers brushing her pretty hair at night. She praises him for finding the one thing she wanted in the world. He just wanted to make her happy and kisses her hand. She whispers he makes her happy. That photograph was taken before her father left. It was the smile her mother used to have. She touches Brady's face and he gazes at her. Madison notes that thanks to him, she will be able to remember her like that forever. They embrace. She puts the picture on her night table so it will be the first thing she sees in the morning. She also has a surprise. Tickets for them to go skiing at an exclusive spot in Switzerland. Brady is thrilled. Ring ring! He looks at his phone and is stunned to read that papa John is out of jail! - At the romantic loft, Rafe senses that Sami is bothered and he suspects it is because they were not remarried at the church. Sami retorts it was ever so wonderful at Horton square. He wonders if she is worried about something, given how much of a hurry she was in to renew their vows. Sami drinks her champagne and Rafe now suggests it was all because of EJ! Sami stares ... - Back at the condo, John has just ended a call with his financial advisor Charlie. He is paying all the investors back. Will thinks he does not have to, as the embezzlement was not his fault. John insists he must do right by them. Will is impressed. So is Marlena. John has also called Belle and left her a message that he is a free man. Speaking of freedom ... Marlena is anxious for them to go for a nice walk tomorrow morning, minus the ankle monitor, security, and hecklers. But first ... they kiss. Will smiles. Marlena later tries to find out what is upsetting her grandson. He explains he has no problem with Rafe or the kids. Marlena knows he was hoping to move out for more space and now suggests he move into the condo. Will wonders if she wants to help him get away from his mom. No, she just wants to help him find perspective so he can go back to his mom and fix things eventually. Will gets choked up. He wishes his mom were more like her. They call each other amazing. He asks whether John would be okay with it. Marlena assures him John is all about family. Will thanks and hugs her. - Bo and Hope are at the town square, with Bo carrying the bicycle box. He teases the guy who helped must have a crush on Hope. They decide to hurry home. The prettily decorated square is virtually empty. But something is about to happen ... Read Part 2 - click here! |
