| Friday, December 7, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up in the afternoon of December 6 EMERGENCY! - Replay of Jen and Nicole clashing at the cabin. Nicole tells Jen to go cos Daniel hates her! Jen accuses her of trying to come between them and calls her a liar, She gasps Nicole’s apology was meaningless and doubles over in pain. Nicole exclaims she should not even be there. Jen wants to speak to Dan the man and refuses to go. Nicole yells at her to get lost. Dan appears and quietly wonders what Jen is doing there. She babbles about wanting to call. He repeats the question. Jen explains there was much left unsaid and they have to work this out. Dan drawls there is nothing to work out. Nicole agrees but Dan stops her and asks for a minute. They need closure. Nicole takes the hint and steps outside. Jen is sorry. She had not realized Nicole would be here either. Exasperated Dan reminds her he needed to get away. Jen cries she meant it when she said she would stand by him whether or not the treatment turned out! The medicine man takes a deep breath. - Sami finds Eric at the rectory, having just taught Ciara her Hail Mary. He is helping the girl prepare for her first communion. Sami offers her words of encouragement. Ciara innocently asks why she is not a nun, as her twin brother is a priest. Sami smiles uncomfortably. It is not for her, though she respects those who serve God. Eric explains what being a priest means to him. Ciara wishes to light a candle. Eric allows her to go ask Sister Margaret and reminds her she is getting picked up. She happily flounces out. Sami is amused. Eric is surprised by her unannounced visit. Sami confesses she owes him an apology concerning Nicole … - At the town square, Brady sips his coffee and assures mentor Maggie he is solid. The future is interesting. Maggie nods and deduces it must be a romance. Brady admits he is not yet sure what to label this thing for it is very new. Maggie wonders if he feels it is too soon. Madison would want him to be with someone special, however. They walk and talk. Brady seems to feel a tad guilty. Maggie can relate. She and Mickey were together a lifetime. She points out she is now happily remarried. She knew her Mickey would want her to be alive, secure, loved. Brady repeats he does not know what this new thing he has is yet. And the reason he is hesitating is because there are other issues … She presses him about the other issue. He elaborates. It is actually a complication. She would like to know for whom exactly. - At the hospital, John thinks he arrived just in time.Kristen urges Marlena to get this over with and tell him. Marlena decides she does indeed need to speak with John. Marlena, John, and Kristen now enter her office. She announces she should not have waited to tell him the truth. John suspects Kristen did something but Marlena confesses it was her. She sent Kristen a text and then when she was out of her room, she snooped around for evidence. John sighs. Marlena touches his arm and hopes he will forgive her. Kristen grimaces, miffed she did not enlighten him on her affair with Brady, which was the scandal she wanted exposed. John wants his wife to tell him this is a joke. Marlena laments no and explains Kristen showed up so he can ask her. He does not believe doc would do such a thing. Marlena admits she was reading the journal on her tablet, too. John is not pleased but gets interrupted by a call he must take. He steps out after growling they will continue this discussion before their family lunch! The two women now find themselves alone. Marlena is calm. Kristen is ready to scratch her eyes out. She notes Marlena did not tell him about her and Brady. Marlena replies that telling him they were lovers was not up to her, it was up to Kristen, so she is allowing Brady and Kristen to be the ones to shares the news. She hopes she realizes she has just done her a favor! Kristen gets sarcastic. Marlena points out she did owe her for not telling John she broke into her room. Now, however, the favor has been returned. She makes a snide remark about the horror of seeing her with Brady. Kristen accuses her of not wanting her to tell John, for as long as she is sneaking around with Brady, John is safe. Marlena has nothing to fear since, as she explains, she and John are faithful. Like with Roman? taunts Kristen.. She waltzes out of the room and angrily wonders what game Marlena is playing. John has to know for this plan to work! She takes out her phone. - At the town square, Maggie tells Brady he does not have to say more until he is ready. He appreciates it and asks her if they can keep this to themselves for the time being. The redhead must now head to a meeting, though she is always available to continue this chat should he wish. They exchange I love yous and a hug. Brady gets a text from Kristen and grins he is on his way! - Dan assures Jen he needs no one hovering. Jen gasps she does not feel pity but he claims he knows that very look and he does not need it! He exclaims she seems unwell and should be at home resting. She argues he should not be here all alone. Dan mutters he is not alone. Jen wonders why that woman is here. Furthermore, she will not let him shut out the world for his loss this time! Dan insists he does not need her and she is not responsible. He tells her to go live her life. Jen gasps she cares about him and then stops. Exasperated Dan thunders it would make him feel better if she left! - Brady knocks loudly at Kristen’s door. She opens in a slip and he breathes wow. She whispers he talks too much and promptly pulls him into her lair … - Sami and Eric discuss how nice it is having Bo and Caroline back, as Ciara has just been picked up by her father (unseen, unheard). Eric reminds her she had wanted to say something about Nicole. She thinks he is very forgiving and goes on to say that his words to her were true. She is not exactly mother Theresa herself. Eric explains he did not wish to hurt her. Sami insists he let her apologize. She regrets what she said about his judgment. He is a good person and she knows he is trying to give Nicole the benefit of the doubt. Eric is clearly relieved. Sami notes he has the gift of helping others and it appears to fulfill him. It does indeed. Then it makes her happy too. She wants his new calling to be the right thing for him. She admires him for striving to be good and noble and regrets her harsh words. “I am really proud of you.” She suddenly blurts out she does not understand how he can be a priest, though … - Back on Smith Island, Nicole unhappily waits outside. Inside flustered Jen refuses to be pushed away by Dan. He now notices she is burning up. She clutches her stomach and he goes into doctor mode, urging her to focus and look into his eyes. She gasps and suddenly passes out in his strong arms …! - Sami and Eric continue their chat at the coffee house. She explains she is conflicted about his new calling. She cannot imagine not being in love, having a family. She cannot imagine Eric without a girlfriend or wife. Eric appreciates her honesty, but feels right about his choices. Sami brings up what Ciara said and muses it was funny. However, there are probably people who are equally surprised that he became a priest. It just seems somehow … out of character. Eric insists he is secure with the choice he made. He solemnly states he is fully committed to this life. Nothing has changed. He is still the same Eric, who has the same values, sense of humor, taste in music. She points out he is no longer chasing any girls. He laughs he is not. But he wanted to connect with his faith and serve it better. It was not easy for him, after all that he bore witness to in the Congo. It shocked him to see what others could do to each other and was difficult to process. He laments there are still some things he cannot escape from. Sami worriedly wonders what things.
