| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Friday, December 7, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! EMERGENCY - Part 2 At the town square, John and Marlena sit and continue the conversation. She fills him in on Brady showing up after she broke into Kristen’s place. She explains she was feeling desperate and alone and believed if she found proof of Kristen’s agenda, she would not feel so alone. He growls but there is no proof. Marlena has decided that his judgment is good enough for her. She promises she will no longer concern herself with Kristen and her plans anymore. There seems to be no need for it … Brady and Kristen fall onto their backs, gasping after their latest roll in the sack. He marvels this is not what he was expecting. She claims she felt she needed him and hopes he feels the same. He does. Kristen notes there are worse ways to spend an afternoon, though it is complicated. Brady agrees. She wonders if it is too much for him to handle. He drawls he can handle complicated, as she surely can. He adds he must go meet John and Marlena for lunch. Kristen pouts she does not like turning him into a liar with his family. She is making him sneak around. She slyly suggests he might want to tell his father the truth so he does not have to compromise his principals. She will not stand in his way! Brady kisses her in bewilderment. Sami wonders what Eric cannot get away from ... Maggie interrupts when she spies Eric and warmly welcomes him back to Salem. Eric is glad to see her and stands up. Maggie is looking forward to catching up and is thrilled he is at St. Luke’s. He teases he goes where the Church tells him. The redhead is interested in hearing his plans for the school. He explains he has to meet his folks for lunch and starts to leave. Sami, who cannot make the lunch due to her workload, wishes he would not go as they were not finished their conversation. Alas he must! Once he has taken his leave, Sami confides to Maggie that in some ways, her brother seems very different. John and Marlena are holding hands over the table. He wants no more secrets between them. Marlena readily agrees. Now that the truth is out in the open and the shock of Kristen coming to Salem has faded, perhaps things will get better ... Brady kisses Kristen, then explains things really are raw between herself, John and Marlena. He believes they would perceive their relationship as something sinister on her part and has decided they should keep it a secret after all, just as she originally suggested! Nicole races into the cabin and asks what happened. Dr. Dan has placed Jen on the couch and tenderly attends to her, asking Nicole to come and help. After Brady has gone, Kristen angrily tosses her sexy high heels across the room. She mulls over what to do now. It would not be good for her to tell John herself. She gets a devious look in her eye. “Unless …” Brady finally arrives for his lunch with John, Marlena, and Eric at the town square café. He is sorry to hear Sami could not make it. John has something to discuss with him later. Brady agrees. Marlena asks Father Eric to say grace before they dine. They all join hands as he begins. "Dear Lord, we are forever grateful with our love and affection and the simple honesty that you allow to us when we’re among family. Bless us, oh Lord, and these thy gifts ..." Meanwhile, obsessed Kristen lounges on her bed and tells herself that it is better for John to remain in the dark a wee bit longer. That way, when he does discover the truth, it will be that much sweeter! At the coffee house, Maggie is seated at Sami’s table. Sami sighs her brother is still too trusting. Maggie thinks that is good. Sami remarks it depends on who he is trusting and complains about him hiring Nicole. When people see that woman, they should just run! Back at the cabin, Dan attends to Jen and explains to Nicole that she needs a hospital. Nicole will get her cell phone. He snaps there is no service on the island, then realizes her appendix is about to burst ... TOOT TOOT! Nicole notes the ferry must be leaving. Dan insists it cannot. Jen needs to get to the hospital immediately! Meanwhile the fair Jen sleeps on ... END |
