| Friday, December 28, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up in the afternoon of December 27 FRENZIED FRIDAY! - Jen has just opened her door to Dan. He hands her the flowers and says they are for her. She thanks him and he enters, giving her his doctor’s diagnosis. He deduces she is nice and looks great and he knows that she is not sick. He assures her he wants this date to happen. Now. She informs him she heard Aunt Maggie explain he should cancel. The medicine man disagrees with his mother on this and proceeds to tell her the whole story. Jen is sympathetic when she learns it is the 2 year anniversary of his discovering Parker was not his son. He goes on to explain he wants to share all his feelings with her. He is crazy about her and also is not sure he will ever get over missing Parker. Those are his feelings on two separate things. Jen appreciates his candor, which is far better than any flowers! Her eyes brighten and she announces they will go on the best date! He looks deeply into her eyes and tenderly promises it will be special. - Will is dreaming. He dreams that Nick enters the pub with little Nicky, his son, a little blond boy who is the spitting image of Will. He asks Gabi if she has their plane tickets. She does indeed. Will steps forward and quietly wonders where they are going. Nick refuses to say and taunts him that they are moving away. Will starts to stammer about his son. Gabi and Nick fly at him, then laugh this is Nick’s son! The leave together and he cries out to STOP! Will now wakes up in bed, gasping. Sonny sits up, puts a hand on his chest, and asks if he is alright. Will mumbles he had a dream. Sonny states it sounded like a nightmare! He suggests the best way to get over a nasty nightmare is to talk about it. Will pretends he does not remember. Sonny presses. Will grumbles he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Sonny is late and needs to shower first. He invites him to the coffee house for breakfast. Will replies he must do research for his economics paper. Sonny chuckles he is in love with a bona fide dweeb, kisses him, and heads for the bathroom. Will now sends a text to Gabi that he has to speak with her! - Suave John gives Marlena a nice big coffee at the town square. He feels badly his boy Brady will be spending New Year’s Eve all alone. He gets an idea. They should go on a double date with Brady and whoever he is seeing! Marlena spills her coffee. John helps clean it up and concludes she is uneasy as he has been pushing too much about Brady. He senses the lad has moved on … Marlena interrupts and anxiously advises him to stay out of his business! Her extreme reaction surprises him. Marlena admits she and Hope did encourage Brady to move on but it did not go well. John thinks that was different than what he is proposing. He wishes to be part of his son’s life and does not intend to play matchmaker. He is convinced his son has moved on with a woman of his own choosing. - At St Luke’s, a meeting of the board has just ended. Billie praises Brady for his hard work, excited the school is slated to open in 2013. Father Eric goes on his merry way. Once Brady gets a brief moment alone with Kristen, he impulsively grabs her in a kiss. She warns him this is too close for comfort. What if the priest had seen! Brady suggests they go away together but she quips they are done. For now, that is. Things are too dicey. Brady, however, will not be deterred. He murmurs he wants them to go away and gives her a folder so she will have an excuse to drop by his office, where he shall be waiting. They stop kissing and talk business when Father Eric enters. Exit Kristen. The priest asks Brady for a word. If he has no plans, perhaps he can help with the homeless men’s group this New Year’s Eve. Brady stammers he is not sure. Eric grins he must have a date and asks who the mystery lady is. Brady would rather not say. Eric suspects it is someone he is already seeing and is curious about her identity. Does he happen to know her? Brady keeps his silence. - Gabi and Nick kiss in bed, a happy couple. He is elated about this morning, the upcoming year. He now gets a text from Kate to confirm today’s job interview. Gabi reminds him they also have a meeting with Father Eric at the church later. Nick insists he will not take long. He gets suited up and heads out to get some finances for his future family. Gabi now returns an urgent message from Will, who will only say he wants to discuss something with her. - Jen and Dan arrive outside the Brady pub arm in arm. She teases him about calling it a special place, given they have beer on tap. They walk in together and he recalls their dart game when they first connected. They flash back to her calling him a dork and take a trip down memory lane. Back to reality. Dr. Dan drawls he is hoping for another dart game. Jen laughs the game is on and calls him dorkman … - At the coffee house, Sonny is serving diva Kate. She sighs to hold the sugar as the Horton gathering was far too sweet. Sonny thinks he saw a tear in her eye at the gathering but she claims it was the scented candles. Nick now shows up for his job interview and bossy Kate snaps he is late. Sonny smiles the coffee is on the house for her and jokes he gets to call her granny Kate. She retorts she hates him. He grins she is stuck with him. As Kate and Nick go to a table, Nick criticizes him for addressing her like that. She snaps he was kidding. They sit and she deduces he has not committed to the offer from Countess W. Nick haughtily admits he is considering the options on the table. She shows him hers, which is what Billie also made him, with a signing bonus added. Nick reads it over, his genius eye noticing what is and is not included. - Will and Gabi catch up at the park. He wants to discuss the nightmare he just had. His baby looked like him but he could not touch him or say anything that mattered, plus she and Nick could get up and leave with his son without any input from him. Gabi solemnly reminds him Nick will be the father and that is what it will be like. - Brady claims he would rather keep his relationship hush hush for the time being. He is hoping for something long-term, but is not certain what the lady wants. - Back at the town square, as Kristen lurks nearby, Marlena suggests she and John change the subject. John is exasperated that the topic of his son is not even something they can discuss anymore. His phone rings and she thinks he should answer so they have a timeout. He growls fine and steps away to take a call. Kristen slithers up and proceeds to antagonize the blonde. She knows she would not tell John anything and taunts she is on her way to an office encounter with Brady. Marlena coldly explains there is something she really wants to do and gives her a hard slap across the face. Kristen winces and gasps. - Jen throws a dart and misses the board. Dan makes fun of her. She sips her beer and complains about not being good. He recalls she was before but she admits she was mad at Jack. He appreciates that they can be open with one another about their past. Jen’s dart throwing gets worse. He calls her hopeless. She giggles at least they are on a date together and they are having cheeseburgers. Dan is mesmerized. - Kate calls it a generous offer. Sonny offers Kate a refill. She does not need one. Sonny asks Nick if there is anything he can get him. Snooty Nick snaps yes, some privacy! Kate makes a comment about his lack of charm. Sonny walks off. Nick now goes on to say what he wants - stock options, profit participation, vacation, time off with his family. She suggests the genius take a reality check and reminds him he is a con with a flawed personality. He should not dare push his luck. Nick boasts he will take this offer and talk to Sami about what SHE could counter with. “Don’t you just love bidding wars!” - Gabi urges Will not to get emotional. She hopes he has not changed his mind. Will laments this baby is getting more real to him every day and he cannot talk to anyone about it. Not to his family, not to Sonny. Gabi gets tense upon his mention of Sonny’s name and urges him not to tell anyone anything! - Kristen warns Marlena not to think she can get away with acting like that. Marlena warns her she should not think she can taunt her in this manner. Kristen threatens to tell John she is irrational. Marlena threatens to tell him the truth. Kristen leers she will tell him she mentioned giving Brady something at the office and she went nuts on her. Marlena has a look at the folder she is carrying, accuses her of using the church to hide her tawdry affair, and goes on to call her a sociopath who should be behind bars. Kristen leers she is free and having a great time while they all think Marlena is crazy, including John! She flounces off and Marlena stares darkly. - Dan gets close to Jen and coaches her, yet she remains dreadful at darts. His phone rings and he must step away to take it. “Dr Jonas …” Right away Anne the HR bitch steps up and makes a snide remark about her never taking her job seriously. Jen explains it is her day off. Anne hisses she does not look like a grieving widow, though the black is a nice touch. Billie drags the woman off and calls her a bitch. Sailor Moon Jen gets mad … mad enough to hit three bull’s eyes on the dartboard. She is mighty surprised. So is Dan. She grins she was mad, then invites him to her place for dessert. He follows her lead … - Kate plays it cool with Nick the upstart. He reminds her she must hate losing to Sami, adds this offer was not in the ballpark, and takes his leave. He will be in touch. Kate sighs to Sonny that one is an arrogant little … Sonny understands exactly what she means. In fact, once she gets to know Nick Fallon, she will like him even less! - Gabi implores unhappy Will to chill. He is upset she wants him not to be a part of his child’s life. It is unfair that every day is better for her and Nick but worse for him. How would she like it if he had the right to take her child from her! She does not want him to talk like that. Will reminds her he is still part of this discussion. She had claimed she wanted what was best for the baby, but he is no longer sure they are doing what is best for their baby. He heads off and Gabi stares. - Kristen runs into John, flirts as she wishes him a Happy New Year, and makes for Brady’s office. Marlena watches from a distance and gives her the evil eye.
