| Thursday, December 20, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up in the afternoon of December 19 MY BABY'S GOT A SECRET - Replay of Jen in kissy Kristen and Brady’s doorway. She stammers she should have called first. Kristen calls this a surprise, for lack of a better word. Jen explains Brady sent her a text and she wanted to see how he is doing. Brady is at a loss for words. Jen snaps she should go but Kristen asks her not to for she can explain! Jen gets sarcastic she left her oven on at home and leaves. Kristen urges Brady to do something so he dutifully goes after her. Kristen tells herself it is certainly not the worst thing that could have happened … - Lucas is at the pub leaving a profuse apology for Jen on the phone, as even Victor told him off for his overreaction! Will joins his dad at his table and grins that must have been rather hard. Lucas brings up the Horton gathering and notices Will’s glum face. He suggests he invite Sonny to cheer him up Christmas Eve. Will confesses they had a fight and he stormed out. They have not communicated since. Lucas points out they can work it out if they love each other. Will assures him he still loves him but is not sure how Sonny feels. He asks about his dad’s first fight with his mom. Lucas teases he thinks they are still having it. He is curious about how Will and Sonny’s spat started. With the issue of friends, though Will is not certain how it ended … - Chad has just carried a boxed Christmas tree into the coffee house. Sonny is glum about the whole idea. Chad realizes something is up with him and Will, hence his foul mood. Sonny gloomily sighs they had a big fight. Chad deduces it must have been about evil Gabi. Sonny admits he told Will to stay away from Gabi but could not say why due to Chad’s situation. As a result, he came across highhanded. Chad is sorry for that but reminds him he would be sent to prison if news got out that he had violated the terms of his signed agreement with Gabi’s protector Nick. Sonny goes on to say that when he mentioned something about Gabi, it hit a nerve. He helps Chad unpack the tree and updates him on Will’s overreaction concerning Gabi. Chad regrets what he told him and advises him to try and forget it. Sonny cannot forget what that girl did to Melanie, who was her friend. He is sick with worry over what she could do to Will too … - At the church, Father Eric has a Pre-Cana session with Gabi and Nick. Nick the oddball talks inquisition. Eric stops him for that is definitely a word the Church does not like to hear! He explains they will learn from this – from hearing how the other party filled out the form. Gabi had claimed she was never angry with Nick in her written answer. Eric now brings up what Nick wrote. The priest presses him to tell her. Nick blurts out he gets angry when she lies. Father Eric somberly notes lying is an issue they will have to work on. Nick claims she only told one lie – about the baby. Gabi tries to stop him. The priest explains they do not need specifics. Nick continues regardless. He was upset she told someone her baby news before him. Gabi is sorry and gushes she loves and trusts him. He knows that now, takes her hand, and smiles he loves her too. They look at the inexperienced priest, who is making notes. - Marlena is busily making notes at the nurse’s station. John approaches, teasing her about stalling for their Pre-Cana appearance. He pours himself a cup of coffee and chuckles she might not want to do the Pre-Cana session. She admits she does not like to talk about herself or about them. John suspects they will actually be doing more listening than talking. He goes over the usual key things to have in a marriage - love, honesty, trust. He now announces the time has come to show the young couple the path to wedded bliss. - Hope is carrying many shopping bags at the town square, chatting to unseen/unheard Bo on her phone, excitedly assuring him she and Ciara will be on their way soon. She asks how it is being with Shawn D, Belle, and Claire, then urges him to be careful. Moments later, Kristen steps before her with a friendly greeting and a bag she dropped. Hope acts as pleasant as possible. Kristen coos she wanted to see her but has been busy. Hope quips she must have been keeping busy bumping into John. Kristen remarks she must be on the Marlena pipeline. Hope will only say her return has not been pleasant for everyone. Kristen, however, thinks it has been good for some. Hope muses so she heard! Kristen realizes she knows. - Brady follows disgusted Sailor Moon Jen all the way to Horton house. She calls this situation embarrassing. Brady declares he is certainly not embarrassed to be with Kristen and they are a couple. Jen cannot believe it. He must have forgotten to tell her he got a lobotomy! He is supposed to hate Kristen! He admits he was wrong about her and besides she has changed. Jen concludes he wants her to keep her silence about what she witnessed and questions that. Brady explains he only wants to refrain from telling his folks until he has figured out what this is. Jen deduces he does not wish to hurt them but she fears he is the one who will end up hurt! She reminds him he is still vulnerable dues to losing Madison. Brady realizes that but this just happened. Jen argues the timing is off. Brady disagrees and emotionally retorts he did not believe he would ever feel this way again. Jen flashes back to Daniel and then suddenly understands. She is happy for Brady if that one makes him feel alive and well. She agrees to keep her silence for the time being - unless she sees him headed toward a path of self-destruction. They shake on it. - Lucas points out that at the beginning, one assumes everything will be perfect and one has all the answers. However, love is like a job. One must work at it, listen to the other person’s opinion too, without getting upset. Will is rather amused that his dad is giving him boyfriend advice. Lucas suggests he learn from his dad’s mistakes and not repeat them. Will appreciates it. Lucas hopes he will see him Christmas Eve - with Sonny! Will smiles slightly. Meanwhile Chad and Sonny have put the tree up at the coffee house. Chad suggests he focus on Will instead of Gabi. He goes on to suggest Sonny back off from Gabi. Will is worth it. Sonny just does not comprehend why Will is so hell bent on defending that girl. - Father Eric steps out to check if the guest couple has arrived. Nick is sorry. Gabi laments she hates that they have to keep lying. Nick assures her he loves her baby, like it is her own. Eric now brings in John and Marlena. Nick and Gabi freeze. - Kristen would like to know what exactly Hope meant. She smirks Sami informed her how close she had become to EJ and probably Chad. Kris sarcastically states they are one big happy family. When Hope coldly excuses herself, Kristen wishes her a most Merry Christmas then mutters “bitch!” She has a sneaking suspicion Marlena told that one all about her and Brady. - Lucas arrives at the coffee house, compliments the big tree, and asks for a moment with Sonny, He just heard about the fight from Will. He informs Sonny how torn up Will is. Sonny wonders why he is telling him. Cos he would hate to the fellas break up over a little disagreement. - Eric announces he is now leaving the married and almost married couple together. Marlena pleasantly assures Gabi and Nick that she and John do not feel they have all answers to a happy marriage. John teases no one does. Gabi thanks them for their help. Nick seems to notice Marlena’s reluctance. John offers some advice. They should keep no secrets for secrets have a real bad way of coming out! He now asks why they are getting married so soon. Nick explains, as Father Eric knows, they are having a baby. Nick believes God wants them to marry. Marlena smiles and asks how Gabi’s mother feels about it. The girls stammers she has respiratory problems so she and Rafe decided it would be best not to tell her about the baby. John cannot conceal his surprise. Gabi adds she did not tell her about their wedding either! - Will stares longingly at Sonny’s picture on his phone and flashes back to the first time they were together, their declarations of love that soon followed. He simply must speak with him! He stands up as Father Eric enters. Eric pleasantly notes he will be best man at his first wedding and it will be nice to see a friendly familiar face. Before he goes, Will asks the priest if he feels Nick and Gabi will make good parents. - Sonny is surprised by Lucas’ full support, given their past issues. Lucas assures him he wants the pair to work things out and stay together. Sonny is grateful. Lucas asks him not to tell Will he was here. Sonny agrees. Lucas now wonders whether their fight was about money. He was also asked to give Gabi and Will money for their school project and offers to pay Sonny back if that was the issue. Sonny replies that was not the issue. Exit Lucas. Sonny stares and flashes back to Will asking him for that money.
