| Wednesday, December 19, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up in the afternoon of December 18 BUSTED! - Replay of the Dan and Jen’s I love you moment under the mistletoe. It is a prelude to a romantic kiss until Lucas walks in and snaps that is a HO HOHO moment! He drawls it is more of the good doctor’s personal touch, like with Chloe. He wants a word with aghast Jen about family plans for the holidays. Dan uncomfortably excuses himself and exits the pub, still grinning from winning the heart of the fair Jennifer. “Yes!” he exclaims. Victor happens by and notes he is elated. Must have gotten what he wanted. Meanwhile inside the pub, Jen calls Lucas a jerk so he counters she is an idiot! Lucas warns his Horton sister that Dr. Dan is a predator who preys upon vulnerable women. She hisses what they share is more than friendship! Besides, this is not his business. Lucas reminds her there was Chloe, then Nicole. Jen suggests bitter Lucas simply cannot get over his own hurt. Lucas criticizes her for moving on too soon and blasts her. How could she do this to Jack! Jen now gets very upset. - Newbie priest Father Eric is at the church diligently practicing for his first marriage – between Nick and Gabi. He sighs to wise Father Tobias it does not sound like a match made in heaven. However, he feels they are serious about their commitment in spite of their young age. He just hopes they realize what is involved in the sacrament of marriage. Tobias explains that is why they need a vet couple for a Pre-Cana session. Father Eric grins he knows just who to ask! Father Tobias now asks his young priest how he himself is doing. “Are you still having nightmares?” Eric blinks. He claims he has them under control, though he continues to have them. Tobias agrees he is doing well considering what he went through. However, he suggests he share with his family and not keep it bottled up. Eric explains he has spoken to therapists and also God. Tobias assures him He will not let him down. Eric knows. He finds it ironic that he fears no evil, but he still fears being asleep. - Sami returns to the town square table with gifts as EJ asks who Kristen is getting close to. She flashes back to her cougar love fest with Brady. She devil Kristen pauses, as she has just caught the scent of a familiar perfume. “Hi Sami!” She pleasantly shares what she has just told EJ, innocently adding she was referring to getting closer to Chad, her favorite brother. EJ is amused. Kristen now explains Stefano will not be home for the holidays and would like to arrange a family video conference. Father would like to see him. EJ woefully sighs he wants to see him too. “Really?” scoffs Sami. EJ nods. She cannot believe it. He reminds her he is his fatha. She reminds him how poorly he treated him. Johnny races up with Sydney and announces they saw Santa. He whispers he kept up the charade of believing for Sydney. Sami lifts up Sydney in her arms. EJ introduces little Johnny to his Auntie Kristen and the lad wonders if she has kids, who would be their cousins. Kristen calls the kids beautiful and admits she has no kids of her own. Johnny wonders why. Sami ushers the children off for their play date with Timmy. EJ kisses the kids and they walk off with mom. EJ apologizes. Kristen muses he is a little boy and they ask questions. EJ suspects it still hurts, however. - Marlena and Hope are still at the coffee house, where Hope confirms Brady must be into Kristen. She must therefore tell John! But the blonde has a different take on the sticky situation … - John arrives on Brady’s doorstep at the Kiriakis mansion and drawls they need to talk Kristen! He enters the mansion and Brady pours them both coffee into a pair of elegant Lenox mugs, holiday pattern (DaysCafe owns that exact holiday dish set!) John demands to know what he was doing with Kristen when he dropped by. Brady pauses with his Lenox holiday mug. He asks him to let the matter go, but papa John senses he is hiding something. If he will not tell him, he shall ask Kristen himself. Brady informs John that Marlena sent bogus texts from him to get Kristen out of her room. He hastily showed up to avert a disaster. John appreciates his candor as he loathes secrets. At least his son is not guilty of hiding anything. Brady solemnly sips his coffee. John appreciates that Brady was there to intervene. Brady passionately praises Kristen for her work on the board for the new school. John thanks him for replacing him on said board and is evidently impressed they seem to be working well together. - Outside the pub, Vic notes he had heard the good news about Dan’s hands recovering from Maggie, not to mention how he saved Jen at the rundown Horton cabin. Dan reacts in his usual modest manner. The Greek tycoon now presses him to spill what really has him grinning from ear to ear. He hopes it has to do with triple A Jennifer and wonders why he is out here if she is in there! - Marlena refuses to tell John and suggests Hope also refrain for it is Brady’s private business. Hope notes he is grief stricken and not thinking clearly. Marlena agrees and that is why he needs his father. This kind of revelation could make him lose him! - Jen emotionally reminds Lucas how much she loved her husband. It has been months! Why, she cannot mourn in black forever! Lucas claims it has been no time at all. Daniel is garbage and she should not let him into her life! He suspects he is praying on her vulnerability and stops angry Jen from leaving after she huffily puts on her coat. He questions her state of mind and insists he must prevent his sister from becoming another notch on the Lothario’s bedpost. Jen slaps him across the face! - Kristen’s eyes are filled with pain. EJ is aware that she always wanted children. She airily states she does not believe in wasting her time wishing for what she cannot have and advises him to go be with his family. He approaches the kids and Kristen wistfully watches. She now walks to the gifts table, picks up a box, and gets an idea. She whips out her phone, leaving a message for Brady. “I need to see you right now!” - Father Eric arrives at the coffee house and would like a word with Hope. Marlena hugs him and steps away from the table, as she herself has someone to meet. The priest confides to Hope that he is setting up a Pre-Cana session and would like Bo and Hope participate. She laments it is not possible. Meanwhile, Marlena sits at a table with John, who has arrived 10 minutes late. He sighs he is out of pep and just spoke with Brady about his relationship with Kristen. Marlena’s eyes widen … Hope informs Eric that Bo went to be with Shawn, Belle, and Claire for Christmas. She and Ciara are leaving soon. They will be celebrating Christmas together. She and Ciara plan to return the day after Christmas, though Bo intends to remain longer. Eric sighs he will need to find another happily married couple. Hope wishes him luck finding another one in Salem! Marlena is very surprised to hear that John has no issues with Brady and Kristen’s relationship. She is relieved and admits she already knew. John suddenly realizes they are not on the same page and frowns. “What the hell are you talking about doc!” - Dan and Victor storm into the pub when they perceive the commotion through the window. Dan gasps what must Lucas have said to to upset her! Jen leaves for some air and Dan follows. Lucas calls after her that he will only hurt her! Victor frowns. Outside, Dan is very relieved when upset Jen assures him Lucas did not and could not change her mind about him. “No one could,” she gushes. - Brady has been summoned to Kristen’s hotel room and arrives with an announcement. He wants them to be an exclusive couple! She gasps she did not see it coming. He holds her tight. She glances strangely at the wrapped present on the table ... Part 2 as EJ opens up to Sami, Dan gets an invite, Kristen and Brady are busted and more ...! |
