| Tuesday, December 18, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up in the afternoon of December 14 SECRET AND NOT SO SECRET LOVERS! - Jen repeats she had to come back and see Dan. He thinks they can talk later but she begs him to wait. He stops. She is relieved she caught him. He looks her in the eye and waits for her explanation. Jen suddenly gasps it might not be the right time but he exclaims she must say it! She notices the picture sticking out of his pocket and wonders what it s. A Christmas card from Kate which is actually a picture of Parker. He shows her and she compliments the adorable little lad. Dan is affected by her nearness, then steps away. He drawls he is handling the situation better, and credits her with making him learn how to let go. He loved Parker very much. Jen knows. Dan reminds her she once told him one could love someone completely but had to realize when the time came to let go. He muses love is not always forever. He now suggests they wait to talk, adds she needs to rest when she protests, and leaves. Exasperated Jen races after him. - Gabi is prettily placing poinsettias on the Brady pub tables and tidying up. Rafe enters and asks if Nick is around. No and she gets sarcastic about him wanting to harass him again. Rafe is there to apologize to his sister for his bad behavior. She notes he crossed the line. Rafe stammers it was hard to accept she was with Nick so soon … She stops him as it is a very uncomfortable detail. Rafe realizes it was a tough time for her when she hooked up with Nick. He is sorry. She thanks him and gives him a warm hug. Rafe admits he wishes things were different, but he will support her, provided she is sure. She insists she is sure she loves Nick. He is different . So kind and gentle and loving and he wants them to raise the baby together. Rafe decides he is sold, though his demeanor is more downtrodden than enthused. - Sami enters EJ’s office and finds the boss surrounded by wrapped Christmas gifts from people who want something from the DiMeras! EJ thinks that is not the spirit of Christmas, however. Sami points out the presents all have Johnny and Sydney’s names on them so how can they convince them they do not belong to them? EJ pleasantly explains he has already been speaking to the kids about these, as they have been piling up since Thanksgiving. Sami is surprised he did not tell her. Sydney and Johnny burst in and excitedly ask what they are going to do with the presents. Has daddy thought of anything? EJ suggests giving them to the needy kids, as they are being collected at Horton town square. The tykes are all for it. They want mommy to come too. Johnny wishes to touch the presents. EJ thinks they can guess what is inside and that excites them just as much. Sami smiles at the scene. - Marlena walks alone, unable to push thoughts of that she devil Kristen and Brady from her mind. Hope approaches her by the town square gate and she suspects something is the matter. What is it? Marlena sighs rather whom. Hope folds her arms and wonders what Kristen has done now. Marlena first swears her to silence, then states Kristen is having an affair. Hope wonders who is the unlucky guy. She is horrified to learn it is Brady - and Marlena walked in on them in bed. Marlena laments that is not all. She could not bring herself to reveal the affair to John. - Kristen is in bed clad in her negligee with sleeping Brady at her side. She flashes back to promising John she would keep her distance and their peaceful co-existence. Back to reality. She deviously whispers the time has come to take this scheme to a whole new level. Meanwhile unsuspecting shirtless Brady sleeps on. Kristen sits up to place drops in her eyes for dramatic effect and then pretends to be having a nightmare, screaming “Please don’t hurt us!” Brady wakes up and tries to comfort her in his strong arms. Kristen plays the role of the damsel in emotional distress. Brady is concerned but she coyly claims she does not remember anything. He thinks she does. She gets up to pour herself a stiff drink and will only say it was a bad dream. She now comes clean. It was about what could happen if John and Marlena found out about them. As they get dressed, she pretends to be oh so worried about the risks they face as secret lovers. Brady disagrees. She reminds him they are sneaking around. She is utterly terrified at the thought of John and Marlena finding out. Shirtless Brady points out her dream was not real and nothing has happened. She worries John will incorrectly believe she is trying to create a wedge between father and son. He murmurs that is not now he feels. She fears what they would do. Brady declares he will not allow either his father or Marlena to know about them! - Hope now learns from Marlena that Kristen knows Marlena saw her in bed with Brady, though Brady remains in the dark. She wonders why Marlena has not told John at least. Marlena complains that every time she tells John something about Kristen, it backfires. She confesses about her message deleting fiasco. She also remembers Kristen’s leering that her staying with Brady will keep her away from John! Marlena is at a loss. Hope gets back to the topic. She does not understand why Kristen has not informed Brady that Marlena saw them. She does not feel, however, that Marlena’s silence is the right approach. Marlena admits she cannot handle this on her own Hope offers to lend a hand. Marlena considers. Perhaps there is something she could do. She can help her uncover how committed Brady is to Kristen - whether it is real or just about the sex ... - Sydney, Johnny, EJ and Sami arrive at Horton Square’s Toys for Tots table bearing beautifully wrapped gifts. The woman at the table and the man in uniform thank them. The kids are proud to help. Sami gushes to EJ he was right for this is what Christmas is all about. Moments later, Rafe comes around the corner and stares at her. She smiles back. - Kristen and Brady discuss their relationship. He thinks they are having a good time but is not sure what this can be called just yet. He feels they are both unsure and should continue the journey together. Then, if the time comes, John and Marlena will have to accept it. Kristen hugs him and thanks him for talking her down. He drawls he wants to see her later. They kiss and he pauses at the door. “2013, it’s gonna be a good year!” Exit Brady. Kristen the scheme queen muses she could not have said it better! - Marlena has a clever idea. Hope and Brady will be attending the police Christmas benefit together. Marlena suggests a threesome, then giggles and elaborates. There was a detective called Sara that Brady used to have a crush on. They can try and throw them together, to determine whether Brady is interested in anyone else. She adds if Brady’s feelings are only physical for Kristen and it is a fleeting affair, John does not need to know. Hope eagerly asks what she wants her to do ...
