| Monday, December 10, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up in the afternoon of December 7 HOLIDAY HEARTS - Rafe joins Sami at her coffee house table, having been summoned by her urgent text. She gasps they must get things perfect for Nick and Gabi’s wedding. Hope stops in her tracks. Nick and Gabi are getting married? She gets her confirmation and wonders what is going on. Sami thinks they will be happy. Hope now turns to Rafe and would like to know his view. Rafe thinks she should talk to Nick. She suddenly does the math and assures Rafe he will take good care of his little sister. She exits in a rush. Sami regrets her big mouth. Rafe explains people will hear about it sooner or later. Sami laments his mother needs to know too and is on her to-call list. Rafe is baffled. She now shows him her to-do list for the reception, ceremony. Rafe explains he did not mean she had to plan Gabi’s wedding but she is happy to oblige. Rafe chuckles she must want his expertise to help with the bouquets and such. Sami wants this to be perfect and orders Rafe Hernandez to tell her all about Gabi’s favorite things, everything she needs to know! - In bed, Nick wants to make sure his beloved Gabi is sure about getting married. She insists she loves him. She wonders whether he is sure about raising Will’s baby as his own for the rest of his life! He assures her this is what they all want. He then admits there is something he has always wanted to do and jumps out of bed to get down on a knee and propose again. She gleefully accepts. He confesses he has no ring just yet and instead presents her with a carbon necklace, explaining carbon eventually turns into a diamond. It is the starting point of everything. As soon as he makes some good money he will replace it with a real diamond ring. Gabi is touched. This is special, just like him … - Will happens along the town square, where a portly Santa is ringing a bell for charity donations. Shoppers are busily Christmas shopping already. Salem is festive. Sonny teases Will about what he wants from Santa this year. He admittedly feels badly about how he acted concerning Gabi and is ready to move on with the joy they deserve. Will seems to be a tad cold so Sonny gallantly places his own scarf around him and offers him a coffee on the house. Will grins he would rather not take advantage. Sonny assures him what is his is his, the good as well as the bad. - Jen writhes in pain at the cabin as Dan grumbles her appendix is gonna burst. Nicole watches. He tries to comfort the patient. Nicole laments the ferry is leaving. Dan snaps it cannot and urges Nicole to chase the ferry and catch it. Nicole freezes. Dan pushes her on her way and shuts the door. He promises to help Jen, who is in great pain, and gently holds her face. Fortunately there is an abundance of medical supplies and he is able to give her an injection to ease the pain. She is grateful. He points out she will be needing that appendix out and explains she would be back on her feet in a few days. He squeezes her hand. Nicole races back inside, out of breath, having missed the departed ferry. She notes Jen at least seems better. The next ferry is in four hours. Jen has fallen asleep and Dr. Dan rummages through the supplies bag. He drawls he does have everything he needs to operate. Nicole reminds him of his hand tremors. He cannot perform surgery. Dan solemnly notes he must as her appendix will burst and she could die. Failure is not an option! - At the pub, little Johnny runs in with a big hug for great grandma Caroline. He is both charming and family oriented. Caroline is thrilled to see him and rather surprised when he states daddy brought him over. EJ enters with a smile and says a pleasant hello. Caroline sends excited Johnny to the kitchen to be a cookie taster. EJ welcomes her home. She thanks him and invites him to sit down. EJ does and explains Sydney is napping, hence her absence. Caroline grins she will see her as she is going to be around for years. EJ muses Samantha told him she was back to her feisty self. Caroline recalls what her father used to say about the merits of hard work and asks after his own father. She concludes he must be thinking of Stefano. He admits he is, his eyes downcast. Caroline is not surprised, as Stefano cheated death yet again. But no one is immortal forever. She adds being angry is not good. EJ teases he cannot imagine her angry. She shares her view that being angry is a waste. EJ points out everyone in town would be justified being mad at his fatha. Caroline remarks that EJ also loves his children and is a committed father. They have their love of the children in common … EJ now informs her that he and Samantha are working together at Countess W. This is the first she has heard of it! Caroline brings up the past and her own mistakes. People say Sami takes after her. She loved Shawn and Victor, while Sami loves both Rafe and EJ! EJ sighs that is quite an analogy. Caroline did not mean to insult and suggests he might be able to turn his life around the same way Victor did. EJ considers. - Will and Sonny sit on the big white sofa. Will drapes his around Sonny and marvels how different things are. Last Christmas he felt awful, hung over, and miserable. Sonny remembers Christmas in hot Dubai. Will thinks that would be awesome. Sonny thinks they should try it sometime. Will perks up about Christmas in Europe with Aunt Carrie and Austin. He would like to return with someone he loves. He asks if Sonny would be interested. Sonny grins. “I can’t wait.” He now gets a faraway look in his eye. Nick and Gabi are young too and will soon be tied down with their baby – for life. Will thinks it is not that bad. Sonny explains that he would like to have a family one day, but not for a while. Like when he is 40! He does not even want to think about it now. Chad comes up behind them and would like to know what Sonny does not want to think about! - As Dan clumsily prepares a syringe, Jen softly assures him he will be fine. She holds his unsteady hand and whispers it is alright as he injects her. Nicole returns with the clean sheets and towels she could find in the cabin. Dan asks her to sterilize the instruments. She is tense. He sends her off to boil the water. Jen clutches her blanket and breathes deeply, her eyes closed. - Rafe wishes Ari were here. Gabi wanted her to be her maid-of-honor. He now shows Sami the kind of dress she wanted to wear and wonders if she can even have a church wedding, given she is pregnant. Sami insists she can still have the wedding of her dreams and they will make it happen! - Will explains they were not speaking to Chad. He and Sonny stand up and start to walk away, but mad Chad will not be deterred. He follows, calling Gabi one crazy bitch. Sonny should have heeded his advice and made Will stay away from her! Sonny thinks Chad is going too far and must stop Will from physically confronting him. Hothead Chad defiantly drawls Will is far too protective of the girl and demands he fess up. What is he not telling them! - Nick admires the necklace around Gabi’s slim neck. She wonders how Caroline will take their news. Knock knock! Tis Hope, who gives Nick a stern look and wonders when he intended to tell her! Gabi excuses herself and goes downstairs. Nick informs Hope they are getting married fast because she is pregnant. Hope asks how far along she is. Nick stammers 5 or 6 weeks. T’was love at first sight. Naturally Hope can relate to the notion of love at first sight! Nick hopes the rest of the family will be happy for them. Hope’s lips widen into a beautiful smile. - The moment of truth has arrived. Nicole shakily hands Dan the scalpel. He accepts it and smoothly makes an incision as Jen sleeps on. - Sami shuts her wedding planning book. She will take care of everything and advises Rafe to go to the church to consult with Father Tobias. As she gets her coat, they almost bump into each other. Rafe thanks her and picks up her coat. He appreciates what she is doing as does his sister. He praises her for her hard work. Sami looks up at him and gasps she is glad to do it for Gabi. She may not be great at the marriage part but she loves a beautiful wedding. She hopes he will call her later and wishes him good luck. He grins and watches her depart. - Will concedes Chad might not know the whole story. Nevertheless, it is certainly not their place to tell him. Chad knows Gabi and suspects at the end of that story, at least one guy will not be having a happy ending. Sonny suspects he will change his mind when the facts come out. Will murmurs he will catch up with Sonny later. They kiss briefly and then he departs. Chad grumbles Gabi has that one snowed! Sonny frowns. He has heard enough and starts to walk away. Chad follows him and exclaims if only he knew what Gabi had done! - Dr. Dan has completed yet another lifesaving operation and asks for the gauze so he can close. Nicole is surprised he is done. He notes it was a simple procedure. Nicole marvels everything was perfectly straight. How did he manage to do that with his hands? The medicine man removes his surgical gloves and stares. - At the pub, Caroline has a nice clam chowder for Gabi, who hopes she is not a disappointment to her family. Caroline gushes a baby is truly a blessing. She hopes Rafe did not say anything to upset her. Gabi insists he has been great and she is lucky to have him. Sami sits down with her wedding planning materials and announces she is her wedding planner. She is not taking no for an answer! - At the town square, Rafe strolls by Santa ringing his bell.
