Monday, April 23, 2012 up by 2:13 pm est April 20 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! TOMORROW NEVER COMES ... - At the hospital, Lexie introduces Dr. Yu the specialist to Cameron and Celeste. Abe is at his wife's side. The renowned doctor leaves to check with the lab. Celeste is worried. Lexie smiles this is it. If anyone can help her, Dr. Yu can! She nervously waits. Cameron thinks they should give Abe and Lexie a break but Abe states he could use some fresh air with Celeste, asking Cameron to stay with his sister. He agrees. Cameron is very glad Lexie asked him to be there. She is elated to have a new brother and thinks he is nothing like EJ. She is looking forward to getting to know him. In fact, she has so much to live for. - Still in his office, Lucas and Kate point out to Ian that Madison the shrew would not want to work with Kate and vice versa. Kate gets mad when Ian claims he would enjoy watching them go at it. Ian stops her from leaving and drawls there is a certain method to his madness. Once Kate and Madison get over their animosity, they will be able to focus on what they have in common and thus join forces to defeat Sami Brady, someone they both hate. Intensity can be motivating. Lucas impatiently snaps to leave Sami out of it. Kate, however, does not want to hear any defense of Sami. Ian argues both Kate and Madison are pioneers of the cosmetics industry. Kate orders him to fire Madison and just make her the CEO of Mad World. He refuses and insists she set aside her feelings for the partnership. Lucas reminds his mother that she has very few opportunities on the horizon. Kate now decides to accept the offer, yet she has a condition - that he hire Lucas. "What!" snaps Lucas. Ian agrees. Lucas claims he will not be staying in Salem anyway. Kate advises him to hurry up, in that case, and put the entire ocean between himself and that deceitful b*tch Sami before it is too late! But Lucas is a loyal BFF ... - Outside the pub, Nicole tries to tell EJ he already lost her, but he will not be shut out and insists she is carrying his child. She denies he is the father. He is not fussed and emotionally states he loves and needs her. Nicole pretends she does not care and implores him to let her go. He gets choked up. Without her, he would have nothing. His life is falling apart. Perhaps he deserves it. Nicole deduces he has spoken to his father. EJ calls it a waste of time and energy and confides that he confronted him. Nicole wonders what he said. "Nothing." And he made it crystal clear that EJ is now persona non grata, one who has been cut out of the family empire. Nicole simply does not understand. EJ sighs he must have done something that upset the phoenix somewhere along the line, hence the punishment. Nicole thinks he should talk to Lexie, who would be able to help. EJ laments she has issues of her own and adds he has never needed Nicole more! She soon accompanies him to the new place for a chat and hopes she will not regret it. EJ opens up to her. He explains he has been thinking of how his choices have hurt those he loved. He does not wish to become the bitter old man that his fatha is. He has few redeeming qualities and his life is empty. Nicole assures him he has his children and he is doing a good job as the mayor, keeping his promises, cleaning up the city. EJ muses it took a toll on his sister that he went up against Abe. Nicole believes she will get over it. EJ sadly states he believes that the campaign for mayor actually destroyed his life. - At the town square, Austin explains to Sami that Rafe and Carrie had a crush but it's over. Sami exclaims Carrie said she was falling in love with the guy and that was when they started having problems. Austin begs to differ, as Rafe is not a factor in the relationship. Sami hopes he is right. If he is happy, she is happy for him and offers to buy him a cup of coffee. Austin laughs and agrees. - Nearby, at a table, Rafe repeats to Carrie she needs to know about his relationship with Nicole. He will tell her something that is going to change everything so they can be together. Austin and Sami now spy the pair and Austin admits he had no idea they were meeting. Carrie had said she had errands. Sami quips Rafe must be at the top of her to do list ... Rafe starts to tell Nicole that the baby ... Sami and Austin unexpectedly interrupt the moment of truth. Austin would like to know what is going on. Carrie airily claims they were just wrapping things up. Sami wants the details. Rafe snaps that is not her business. But Sami heard the word baby mentioned. Carrie explains Rafe was saying how happy he was about having a baby with Nicole. Sami starts to accuse her of being a home wrecker and suggests she take a good look in the mirror. Austin notes this is not the time for him and Sami to have a coffee. She smugly states she needs to get back to work. Rafe is curious, then surprised to hear she is the new CEO of Countess W. Sami takes her leave. Rafe tells Carrie he will see her around and glumly departs. Austin whispers to Carrie that nothing seems to have changed. "You still have feelings for Rafe!" - Dr. Yu returns, having gone over the test results of both scans. Lexie, Abe, Celeste, and Cameron wait with bated breath. This is a matter of life and death ...
