Tomorrow Never Comes - Part 2 - Dr. Yu woefully informs Lexie et al that the tumor is indeed inoperable and there is nothing they can do. Abe holds his wife as she gasps "I'm going to die!" How long does she have? The doctor is sorry but the growth of the cancer is fast and she has a few weeks or month at the most. "NOOOO!" wails Celeste. Lexie tries to hold it together as the tears run down her face. Abe talks about getting another opinion, but Lexie gasps they must make plans. Poor Theo will not understand why she is not there. She suddenly sobs she cannot leave her little boy. Abe holds her as she cries on his shoulder. What are they going to do? Abe emotionally tells her to have only positive thoughts. She is his life and he has never loved anyone as much. Doctors be damned, for he will never give up on her! He holds her and they cry together. - Sami is surprised to find Lucas at her door. He bears dire news. Ian just hired Kate to be Co-CEO of Mad World with Madison and he is rallying them to take her down. What is she going to do about it? Sami thinks they will only destroy each other and they can sit back and watch. Lucas, however, is concerned. Sami wonders what he will do next about his own situation. He will talk to Autumn soon about what happened to Hearth and Home. Sami is surprised he has not even confided in her yet. Ring ring! Tis Autumn the fiancée! Lucas notices she sounds upset and steps away to talk. Moments later, he returns and accuses nosy Sami of eavesdropping. "She just broke up with me!" he complains. The fiancée had accused him of not being there and putting Sami first. Sami thinks he should go back to Hong Kong and sweep her off her feet. Lucas laments she said not to bother. He thought she was the one and now it is over! Again! They sit on the sofa and stare at each other. - Austin sighs he wishes Carrie could turn off her feelings for Rafe. She insists she loves him and those other feelings with go away. He wonders how this happened. He had not realized her feelings for Rafe were so serious. He just saw how she looked at the guy ... Carrie is sorry. Austin will be patient, but if she cannot get over Rafe, she owes it to him to just tell him. Do they even have a future together? Carrie looks up at him, then begs him not to give up on her. They embrace and she assures him her feelings for Rafe are nothing compared to what she feels for him. She grabs his face and kisses him passionately, as if to prove something to herself. - Nicole argues that running for mayor successfully restored EJ's family name for his children. "At what cost?" he says numbly. "You tell me," says she. He recounts how he alienated his sister, his plan to frame John Black backfired when someone tried to kill him, which was why Johnny went missing, which was why he slept with Samantha, which made him lose HER. He gets down on his knees, takes her hands, and begs her to find it in her heart to give him another chance. She wishes he would stop asking her. She yearns to trust and forgive him but he broke hear heart after the last promise. He cannot fix this. EJ patently points out their baby was conceived out of love and can be raised by them together. That will fix things for them She repeats it is Rafe's but EJ instinctively knows she is in fact carrying his baby. He promises her they can live their dream and be just like Tom and Alice Horton. He recalls it was her dream. He holds her, kisses her neck, and murmurs to please give him one more chance. Nicole swoons, then breaks away and notes it is scary to hear such words from him. She suspects even he believes what he is saying. EJ laments she and Alexandra are the only ones who have loved and accepted him unconditionally. Why, losing either one of them would simply destroy him. Nicole needs a brief moment to think, then surprises herself. "If you are willing to do anything to prove that I can trust you, then I have one condition ... I want us to leave Salem and I want us to leave for good!" - Designer Amy arrives at Ian's office all the way from Paris, with a new wardrobe for Kate, who is visibly pleased. He drawls he wants to give her everything, since Stefano threw her out in the cold. Kate purrs he certainly knows the way to a woman's heart ... - Celeste sits with Cameron at the Coffee House and laments Alexandra is too young to die. He suggests she not give up hope. Celeste appreciates his words, but gasps there were the tarot cards and also the doctor said she had no hope of recovery. Kate happens by and stops in her tracks, having overheard. Stefano will be devastated! She simply has to tell him! Celeste tries to stop her but Kate is already on her way to the mansion! - Abe and Lexie cry like there is no tomorrow and hold each other tight. - Austin and Carrie are back in their room, making love. She appears distracted. - At the pub, Rafe stares woefully at a picture of Carrie on his phone, sighs, and diverts his gaze. - Sami cuddles with Lucas on the sofa and assures him that anyone who does not appreciate him does not deserve him. Lucas thanks her and is touched. Sami smiles and announces she has a proposition for him ... - Nicole explains to a stunned EJ that she wants a new life, away from his father and the bad memories. EJ blinks. "Johnny and Sydney?" She reasons they could visit. She urges him to prove to her that he does put her first. EJ frowns and realizes she thinks he will do that by leaving Salem. He does not seem to share her enthusiasm. Nicole, not noticing, declares that if he moves away with her, then he will have her forever!. END |
