Thursday, April 12, 2012 up by 2 pm est April 11 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Bewitched, Bothered, and BETRAYED! - Chad and Mel romantically wake up nekid under the sheets in his bed. He kisses her gently. She whispers wow. He says wow yourself. Chad has a present for her in a big white box. Tis something cute and pink to wear and he drawls it will stay there. He loves her nekid, but she needed a robe like this to cover herself up if they order pizza. He hopes to have many more nights together. She coos she would like that very much. - Rafe and Dan have a clandestine meetup outside. Dan hands him a file and hopes it will help. It contains certain DNA info ... Rafe cagily thanks him and apologizes for overreacting the other day. He muses he cannot believe he is now researching how to have paternity test results faked. Dan thinks he is taking a big chance. What if EJ finds out! Why, when it happened to him, he almost killed someone in church with a crucifix! He warns Rafe to think about why he is doing this and whether it is worth it. They walk through the town square and Rafe admits he is kind of messed up. However, when he imagined EJ having the chance to ruin another kid's life, it made him see red. Perhaps this is just about payback for all the things EJ did to him. He has never felt like this before. The line between right and wrong is blurred, plus he recently kissed his wife's sister. Dan argues there could be more there but Rafe insists there is not. Dan suggests he tell Carrie the truth at least. Rafe mulls it over. - Inside the pub, Carrie flashes back to kissing Rafe and accidentally finding out he fathered Nicole's baby. She pouts and stats to make a call to Rafe. He picks it up. She asks him to meet her at the pub to talk about something important. Rafe agrees and then excitedly tells Dan she wants to meet him! Dan recalls how tough it was to be in the same room as Jen after they broke up. Rafe is torn about what to do. Dan assures him he can do it, but he should really lay his cards on the table with her. - Ponytail Nicole is outside on her phone, leaving an angry message for Stefano, whom she knows sabotaged the election! She warns him this is volatile information he would not want leaked so he had better get back to her ... - ISA Billie is on the prowl! She creeps into the DiMera living room, presses a few buttons, and out comes a secret folder. EJ comes in and stares at her. He steps back and pretends to have just come through the front door, yelling at Harold about the potholes around his bloody car. He now officially enters, pretending he was not there before. Billie has innocently sat on the sofa. She asks if he knows when Stefano will be back. He gets orange juice and informs her he knows not. Also, he has decided to work from home today. So is she! EJ sits down with his briefcase. They are both working, she rather nosily. He explains he will need his privacy as he is soon having a conference call. As her room, according to her, is drafty, he notes she will have to go to Countess W. Billie takes her leave and wishes him luck with those potholes. EJ now presses the button and opens the cache of secret files. He is horrified by what he finds and slams the files down on the desk. - Rafe joins Carrie at the pub. He pretends to be happy things are going well between her and Austin. He emotionally states he cares about her but she tells him to stop pretending! Besides, it is inappropriate for him to talk that way, for she is a married woman. They need to forget the past things they said. Rafe laments it is not simple. He asks her to at least hear him out so he can make her understand ... She assures him that she is listening. Just then Austin rushes in, kisses his wife, and apologizes for being late. He takes a seat and thanks Rafe for joining them. He is hoping after today, they will be able to put things behind them. Lawyer Carrie hands perplexed Rafe a file. He opens it and realizes it is the dissolution of their business partnership. Carrie coldly explains they must move on with their lives. She is all business and so is Austin. Rafe pauses and casually wonders if this is what she wants. She quips this is best for both of them and asks him to sign. After Rafe signs, Austin points out this has been a tough time for them all. He is sorry that he and Sami could not work things out. However, he wants him to respect his and Carrie's commitment to their marriage. Rafe promises he will. Austin hopes they can be friends again. Rafe grins in agreement. Carrie smiles pleasantly and thanks him for coming. Rafe forces another goofy grin and departs. Austin is convinced that Rafe will respect their commitment to each other. He loves Carrie. She loves him too. He must now go discuss a student's thesis and will touch base soon. Once alone, Carrie sighs and woefully stares at the signed document which cuts her last ties with Rafe. - Outside, Billie leaves a message for ISA boss Spencer that she hit the motherload of evidence and will soon be returning to do a more thorough search at the mansion ... - Ponytail Nicole gingerly enters DiMera mansion and finds EJ pacing. She had assumed he was in a meeting and came to get her things. He shuts his eyes. She wonders what is troubling him. EJ sadly states he ran for mayor as he yearned to become a legitimate force in Salem. It was for his family - his wife, his children, his fatha. His eyes are filled with tears as he announces his father has betrayed him. Nicole wipes away a tear. She is sorry but wanted to talk to Stefano first. He asks why she never told him. She did not want to get involved. He now demands to know how she found out fatha was trying to undermine him when he framed John Black. But Nicole had no idea he framed John Black! She was talking about the election. The election? This is news to EJ and he demands clarification. "Your father stole the election from you!" blurts out Nicole. EJ stares ...
