Tis Will, whom he is mighty glad to see. Will pleasantly offers to help him clean up. Sonny appreciates the offer. He wonders what is up. Oh, Will ran some errands, tried to sleep through calculus, came out to his grandma ... Now he really has Sonny's attention. Will confirms he finally told his grandma that he is gay. Sonny grins that is HUGE! He teases him about the kind of coffee he will soon be drinking and they enjoy a cup together. He congratulates him on coming out. Will is relieved he did not get sick and tired of waiting for him to get his act together. Sonny would like to know how Marlena took it. Great. Will wonders how long Sonny has known. Sonny muses his gaydar was especially high when he caught him in liplock with a buddy. Will laughs, then asks for advice on his next move. It will be important. He is considering sharing the news with his dad, who has no idea. He knows he likes Sonny, though it will come as a shock to him and Will does not want to let him down. Sonny gets it. Will asks how he broke it to his parents. They sit and discuss. Sonny states he took a deep breath and got it out the best way he could. He should tell him he is still the son he always loved and this is who he is. Will feels badly about not being able to have a family. Sonny points out if he finds the right person to share his life with, he can still do that. He assumes Will also intends to tell his mother, but Will quips no way never! He explains why ... - At the mansion, Kate looks at her woeful self in the mirror and flashes back to her tryst with Ian. Meanwhile, Stefano is sitting at his majestic desk in Alamania. He apologizes to flunky Francesco for shooting the messenger. He sighs he knew testing his wife would be a risk. However, he had hoped in his heart of hearts ... He growls he will NEVER forgive her. The flunky asks if he should deal with it. Boss Stefano states he will take care of this on his own! Back in Salem, Ian brazenly arrives at the mansion, declaring he is Kate's lover and is not afraid of big bad Stefano. She urges him to leave now! He insists it is not too late for them. She thinks he is mad. He explains Madison would grant him a divorce. Kate cries she is married to the dangerous Stefano DiMera, who is capable of anything. She cannot imagine what he would do if he found out she had betrayed him! Ring ring! Kate answers the phone in spite of Ian's warning not to. Tis Stefano, who gives her an ominously cheery hello. He senses her nervousness and wonders if this is a bad time. Ian stands and stares. She stammers she was getting ready for bed and wonders why he did not call earlier. He is sorry, but he could not. He is happy to hear her voice and promises he will be done with his business shortly. She calls that good news. He knows she has been angry as he has been negligent. He will of course move heaven and earth to make it up to his beloved wife. He now informs her that as per a package he recently had delivered to the house, he has been keeping tabs on Marlena, as leverage to use against John. He hopes if she sees it, she will not get the wrong idea. "You and you alone are the love of my life," he murmurs. He wants no secrets between them. She gasps she loves him too. He wishes her pleasant dreams and ends the call, then growls to himself she is a BITCH! Back in Salem, crying clueless Kate turns to Ian and announces she has made a very big mistake! - John holds up the half gold coin, which has a series of odd letters and numbers. They wonder what it means and why Stefano was so desperate to have it. John is unable to crack the code, and drawls they only need to exchange the egg for their freedom and blow this pop stand. Hope is very worried about Bo. John is convinced the half coin is their ticket home. Time for a visit to a coin dealer! They soon return with a coin that they will replace the mysterious one with. John plans to add a code that is nonsense to confuse the phoenix. Meanwhile, they shall keep the real thing. He reminds her they must keep up the façade of being the princess and the pawn. Otherwise, they will never get home! John the master forger gets to work. He soon completes his fake coin and decides it is showtime. - Sami is at her new place, surrounded by boxes. Still smarting over Rafe and Nicole, she impulsively removes her wedding ring. EJ arrives and asks after the children. They are asleep. He notices something is the matter, then suddenly grabs and kisses her. Sami kisses him back and this is no dream. This is reality! She eventually pulls away and calls him a jerk. He explains he was trying to prove there is nothing between them. She assures him she despises him. He wants to hear there is nothing romantic between them anymore. Of course, he was thinking of what is best for the kids. Sami wonders if he wants to convince her or himself! He admits he does also wish to convince himself. Sami would rather not revisit the recent tryst they had. EJ stammers about how they made love. She calls it grief sex. He babbles he does not understand why they got at each others' throats and then ended up intimate. She regrets what she lost. So does he, which is why he intends to make sure it never happens again! He updates her on Lucas and Nicole accusing him of trying to get close to her. It is not true. Sami agrees, for they are toxic together! EJ hopes they can stay friends without benefits. Sami agrees. EJ nods and tells himself it will work. Before he leaves, he asks how the apartment is. He insists on staying upon hearing there is a leak in the kitchen sink. He takes a look underneath and believes he can fix it himself. Sami offers to get him a wrench. She opens Rafe's toolbox and realizes there are three. She hands him a big one and he gets under the sink to tighten the valve. Sami starts to talk about missing Rafe. EJ suggests she forget about that one. All of a sudden, the pipe sprays water all over him. Sami squeals and giggles. She teases he should have shut the valve off and hands the now wet EJ a towel, offering to dry his shirt. He remarks she is no longer wearing her wedding ring and then removes his shirt. The now shirtless EJ proceeds to unfasten his pants with a wicked grin ... Read Part 2 - click here! |
