PART 1 - Madison is sitting on the bed, looking at happier pictures on her device, including one of herself and lover boy Brady. Enter Ian. She stands up and fixes herself in the mirror. He praises her for socking it to Kate with the news that they were in fact man and wife. She sarcastically notes one should stay married merely to bug other people. She suddenly cries she cannot do this! He calmly asks what troubles her. Their relationship, with his banter, pushing her buttons. She is not so tough. He decides they ought to be honest, which is why she simply must confide what is really bothering her. He reminds her no one cares about her the way he does. She snaps he stole the Titan job from her and thereby stabbed her in the back! Ian, however, suspects this is not about business, it is about something personal, emotional. He leers to tell him what is going on. She sniffles he needs to let her go. She knows he helped her ... He coldly reminds her he saved her life and built up her company. She moans she does not feel like a loved wife. Besides, she is not the same person. He turns his back and agrees she is not. She remarks they no longer belong together. He turns around to face her, his face twisted, and deduces she is in love with one Brady Black! Madison does not seem to notice his dangerous demeanor through her tears of desperation. She admits she is indeed in love with Brady, for they are soul mates! - Jen and sloshed Abe are at the pub, where she thinks he is acting out of character drinking too much. He slurs he lost the election and she whispers she is worried. He claims she has nothing to worry about. Enter Bo. Kayla hopes he can talk some sense into poor Abe. Bo thinks he will need luck! - EJ walks outside and orders his man on the phone to just find Nicole! - Nicole is in her hospital bed, insisting she cannot have children. Dan murmurs it happened before though. She appears frightened as she adds these test results have to be wrong! Dr. Dan patiently offers to have the test results checked again and tries to explain to her that the human body is resilient. She cries she cannot take the miracle this time. He assumes it is about EJ. Meanwhile, EJ leaves a sorrowful message on her voice mail. He is sorry and he loves her! - Jen lets Bo have her seat at the pub. Abe sarcastically slurs they called in the reserves. He knows what Bo is up to and he will fail! Enter EJ, looking for Nicole. Kayla wants him to leave! EJ saunters up to Abe, who stands up and accuses him of gloating. He lunges but Bo stops him. Abe struggles and yells at Bo to let him go so he can get the son of a bitch! Bo urges his pal to calm down so EJ cannot use this against him to cause more trouble. Kayla repeats to EJ to go. He makes a snide remark and she accuses him of kicking a man when he is down. But before he departs, he further infuriates Abe by claiming he is glad his sister finally saw him for what he was. Jen blames herself for the mess. Kayla insists EJ is to blame. Jen cries Abe would never have tampered with the ballots. Kayla agrees it was a smear campaign. Jen now gets a text message and rushes off. Abe is seated as Bo advises him to dig his way out and do damage control to get out of this mess. Abe wonders if he believes he committed fraud. "Did you?" asks Bo. Abe replies he did not. Bo points out he did not believe it but the D.A. does not always seem so interested in the truth. Abe now confesses that he did get advance copies of debate questions and had the wrong ones given to EJ. Bo chuckles and realizes that is what has Lexie so upset. Why did he do it? He could have easily creamed junior regardless. Abe laments he got fed up with his dirty tactics. He did not realize he was handing the crook the city on a silver platter. He also regrets lying to Lexie, who will never forgive him! - Outside, EJ receives word that Nicole is at the hospital. He is on his way! - At the hospital, Dan appears distracted for a moment, then gets back to his conversation with Nicole. She was happy with her last miracle, but when she lost the baby, she was sadder than she could have ever imagined. She grieved and then life became a living hell because of her. She must have been crazy with grief. Dan is sympathetic. She does not want a repeat performance. If she is pregnant, she feels the chance is slim that she will carry this baby to term. She could not take another such loss and needs him to run those tests. Dr. Dan consoles her with a hug and agrees. He personally will run those tests again, so long as she tries to relax and takes deep breathes. She thanks him and forces a smile as he departs. She now lays her head on the pillow with a sigh. The door opens. Tis EJ. "Are you alright?" She snaps at him to get out, but he would like to know what s going on. She exclaims she is in the hospital because of what he did! He wants her to elaborate. She blames her bad reaction to his connection with Sami. He doubts it. She claims it made her feel so sick that she passed out! He is so sorry. She explains it is not enough. She warned him that she required trust in their relationship. He insists there is no love with Samantha. She laments she will never trust him again, nor will she forgive him either. And she wants nothing more to do with him ever again! EJ will not be easily dismissed. And he too has something to say .... - Jen shows up at Dan's office. He is glad to see her. She is glad too. Her friend texted her that he was back. He grins just as of today. She is surprised he did not give her advance warning about coming home. He reminds her they had agreed to step back. She is just happy to see him. He feels the same way and assumes she and Jack have reconciled. He might not have wanted them to be close. Jen explains he has nothing to worry about. Dan the man blinks. - Kayla has coffee for Bo and Abe and assures Abe that he is certainly not the first person to be driven to drink by those dastardly DiMeras!
