Confessions and Confirmations - Part 2 - Kayla advises Bo to keep dealing with Stefano directly, and EJ too! That is how she and Steve learned to handle such a crime family. She points out EJ will slip up in office. Bo decides to work on a strategy to put together to prevent him from even taking office. Kayla's money is on Bo and Abe, provided they work together. What a team! Bo agrees and Abe wonders what he has in mind. He has an idea in its formulative stages, while Abe also tries to patch things up with his wife. Is he interested? Abe grins naughtily. He is in! - EJ acknowledges he did do a horrible thing. Nicole cries she did everything she could to hold onto them, their family. "All I wanted was you!" she sobs. She turned to him in her grief, whereas in his grief, he turned to Sami. He whispers if there is anything he can do to make this up to her ... Nicole numbly states there is not and they are through. EJ stares unhappily. Nicole turns away from him in her bed. He perceives she is unhappy, but he loves her and knows she loves him. He declares he will find a way to prove to her that what happened with Samantha meant nothing to him. She retorts it is not possible and they are through. He argues they know each other better than they know themselves. The past will not be repeated. He points out he proposed to her out of love, not guilt. "We need to put this behind us and look to the future ... to having a family." Nicole touches her tummy and quietly cries some more. He implores her to think of how happy they were. She tells him to stop. She would not want to be a part of his world or his family again, love aside. She now yells at him to GET OUT! - Ian sees that Madison is in love. He sees it in her eyes. She is, even though she made a mess of things. She confesses that she feels more alive with Brady than she has in her whole life. - Dan is not sure what to say. Jen sits opposite him at his desk and then updates him on Jack's latest epiphany that he was not good for her. Dan is sorry. "Are you okay?" She sighs it hurt more than she had imagined, yet she feels he is right. They are not good for each other. Dan sagely points out it happens. Some people are good together, others are not. He suddenly remembers the important test results and must get back to work. They hug and agree it was great seeing each other. Jen pauses at the door and wonders if everything really is okay. His eyes flicker. He assures her everything is fine. She welcomes him home again and walks out. Dan sits down and stares. Jen pauses outside his door and stares. - Ian gathers that Madison did not set out to hurt him. He had heard it in her voice. Her love of Brady explains everything. He felt like that about her once upon a time. She assumes he is letting her go and assures him he will find someone who loves him. Ian smirks he will remain happy. However, she will be quite miserable. "Can you imagine being with your soul mate, still being married to me!" No. He announces he will not let her get away so easily. He never gives away his acquisitions and so he is not letting her go. He tosses aside the device with Brady's picture. He will especially not let her go off with that Mr. Brady Black! She cannot believe it. Ian cruelly reminds her I OWN YOU! He advises her to clean up, for they are going out and he will not have the wife of Titan's CEO looking like a hot mess! Exit Ian. - Dan walks into Nicole's room, muttering he has her test results. EJ looks from Dan to Nicole. "WOT test results!" Nicole angrily repeats for him to get out, as the doctor was just running standard tests to make sure he was alright. D. Dan brings up doctor/patient confidentiality and hopes he will not have to call security on the mayor. Exit defeated EJ. Nicole asks if the results were wrong and breaks down when Dr. Dan confirms "You ARE pregnant. There is no question of that ...!" END |
