PART 1 The dramatic night in Salem continues ... - Sonny exits the pub and leaves another voice mail for Will. He has been trying to find him, is worried, and assures him he is here for him if he needs to talk. - Nicole ignores EJ's incoming call. Dan places a hand on her shoulder and then takes a seat. He just came back to town. He notices something is the matter. She sadly admits it has been one of the worst nights of her life! He tries to encourage her to open up. She notes they are not friends and surely he has better things to do. He assures her that he could use a change of pace. She would rather get going, welcomes him back, and starts to stand up, only to collapse. He jumps up and catches the fainting female in his arms! - Carrie and Rafe are at the office as he woefully packs his stuff in boxes. She perceives something is the matter and wants to help. She is his friend and sister-in-law. Not for long. His marriage has been a lie. He sighs Sami cheated with EJ and throws a box angrily against the wall. He updates her on the confrontation and who was present. Carrie is flabbergasted that Sami cheated. She must have been so out of her mind with grief. Rafe cannot believe she is justifying it. Carrie points out her sister despises EJ. Rafe snaps she still had sex with him. He laments their marriage was a big lie, nothing more. Rafe shakes his head. He always knew Sami could twist the truth in her own mind, yet he never saw this coming. Perhaps he was to blame, as he was not there for her the way she needed him. Carrie urges him not to blame himself. He remarks he was busy trying to get their new business off the ground. Carrie gently touches his arm and insists none of this is his fault. Rafe drawls she is probably the last person he should be talking to about this, but she understands. Carrie is sorry if she caused any problems. Rafe stands up and argues that was after the fact. The whole distance was because of Sami's cheating and her lies. Then she had the nerve to kick him out on account of their kiss. Carrie is sympathetic toward Sami and thinks she must have felt terribly guilty. Rafe is amazed she gives her the benefit of the doubt. Carrie thinks they should go somewhere else and ushers him out of the dingy office. - Sami enters the condo. As Will watches, she accuses Marlena of telling Rafe everything and ruining her marriage. Marlena assures her she said nothing. Sami wonders about Will, He shrugs his shoulders, for he never told him. Marlena thinks it is all for the best but Sam is still mad that she was wrong and things got worse. She is hurting everyone! Will points out that she is not the liar in the family, his mom is! Sami insists Marlena made Rafe find out and that is the worst thing. Will snaps she was the one who had sex with EJ. Therefore. she should stop blaming others for her mistakes. He hates being near her and starts to leave ... Marlena stops him, as they were having an important discussion. Sami yells she cannot be trusted and destroyed their family. Marlena cannot make her cease her angry rant so Will opts to leave. Exit Will. Marlena informs Sami she is very worried about Will. He has something big on his mind, though she is not willing to say more. Sami is miffed she will not share. Marlena urges her to just be there for him for once in his life! - Nicole is now lying in a hospital bed, clad in a hospital gown. Dr. Dan is sitting at her side and calls her name. She stirs. He is having tests run and is curious about what the patient ate. She explains she was having a romantic dinner. She suspects she fainted due to the emotional evening. Dan pleasantly tells her to chill. He offers to call EJ. She loudly objects. He wonders who else to call. She sighs one cannot reply on others or they will let you down. Her pretty eyes are filled with sorrow. - Will is sitting glumly on a bench at the town square. Sonny sits beside him. Will updates him on telling his grandmother he kissed a guy. Sonny asks how she took the news. She was not at all surprised and has long suspected what he has been going thru. Their conversation, unfortunately, was interrupted by his mother, who burst in raving like a lunatic. Sonny gets concerned. "About you?" Will muses she actually accused Marlena of telling Rafe she had sex with EJ. Sonny realizes that Rafe now knows everything. Will unhappily states it means he has no family anymore. - At the hospital, Dan remains with Nicole. She assumes she is not his favorite person, but he points out it was really the company she kept. EJ. She now opens up that EJ broke her heart in the worst way all over again. Little does she know, their connection is far from over ...! - Carrie has taken Rafe to the pub for clam chowder. She tells him how Caroline had an affair with Victor once upon a time. Rafe already knows Carrie adds that Bo did not know he was a product of the affair until he was grown up. And grandpa Shawn was hurt and angry. However, in the end, they worked things out. Shawn truly forgave her and they had many more happy years together. Rafe assumes that is what she believes he should do with Sami. She notes marriage is a commitment and it is worth it in the end. Rafe wonders if she really believes that ... - Sonny wonders how Rafe found out and assures Will he did not repeat the secret. Will knows it did not originate from him. Sonny points out at least the secrets are out, including that he came out to Marlena. But Will claims he only admitted he kissed a guy, not that he is necessarily gay. Sonny sighs.
