Friday, February 17, 2012 posted on February 16 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! HEARTBREAKERS! PART 1 - Victor thanks Madison for coming to the mansion. Enter Brady. He frowns upon seeing Madison. Victor wants them both to hear his big announcement. All of a sudden, Maggie comes in, as well as Ian, who charmingly drawls he hopes he is not late! Brady and Madison stare. Brady demands to know what he is doing there. Victor insists he is a good businessman. Maggie wonders what is the matter with Brady's manners. Ian jokes he caught Brady playing with something that did not belong to him. Victor now introduces him as the new CEO of Titan. Ian taunts they will all be working together and he is going to enjoy this! Brady snaps Victor must have lost his mind. He is livid he did not even thoroughly check out this character. Ian calls this an emotional response. He is jealous he took his former job and also took his wife back, hence the tantrum. Brady tries to attack him but Ian gains the upper hand with his walking stick, which he holds against him like a weapon. He leers at him to watch his temper with him! Maggie looks terrified. Victor scowls. Brady explains that this man is Madison's husband. Victor had no idea. He is disgusted by his rude and duplicitous behavior and snaps the offer is off the table. Ian coldly states it is too late. - John and Marlena are at the condo getting ready. He regrets he is taking her to Alamania, instead of somewhere more exotic. She assures him they will get through it and they kiss. Knock knock! Tis Roman, Bo, and Hope. Roman is there to see them off. Hope promises they will soon be clear of Stefano. Roman is amused about the election results showing yet another DiMera has gone down! Hope is a tad dismayed about the things she will be missing with Ciara. Bo drawls to John he wants that monster Stefano to rot in hell for what he has done to his wife! - At DiMera mansion, Nicole vows to EJ that their nightmare will soon end as Abe's begins! Meanwhile, Lexie runs away when the crowd chants for her to join Mayor Abe at the podium. Abe is clearly upset. Stefano grumbles that they are the ones with the problems and Kate turns up the TV volume, perceiving that something is not right. Abe spits out that he will do his best to live up to the public's expectations of him, and steps down from the podium. The crowd all applaud. Abe mutters to Jen that Lexie knows about the debate questions. He goes after her. Back at the mansion, the DiMeras discuss Abe botching his oddly short acceptance speech. EJ laments it matters not, for he lost anyway. Nicole urges him to wait and see what happens. EJ does not believe any inquiry or the like will change anything and unhappily goes off to work on his concession speech. Stefano quips Nicole is going to have to fix this. She vows not to let his son down and exits. Kate sits by Stefano and silently reassures him. She now says she is sorry he is upset. Stefano sighs his son lost the election and also the children. He has nothing. Kate points out Nicole claimed she could fix it. He hopes she fixes it before they announce the winner. He thanks her for being there for him. Kate insists that there is nowhere else she would rather be. She now brings up the envelope he has in his possession, the one from Alice. The phoenix would rather let sleeping dogs lie and they embrace, though his eyes are filled with worry. He does intend to open said envelope today, as soon as he is alone ...! - Abe catches up with Lexie. He is sorry. She is devastated that he lied to her, which is something she would have expected from her family. His politics were as dirty as her brother's. Abe argues it was a fair fight until EJ stoles his jobs plan and then arranged to get the debate questions. Lexie assumes stooping to EJ's level was all Jennifer's doing, but Abe does not want her to blame Jen. Lexie recalls how he looked her in the eye and lied to her. She cries she was so sure he was a better man than her brother and her father. She woefully shakes her head. "You're just like them!" - John and Hope are at the airport. He wonders if she is sorry she opened that envelope. She is just grateful gran guided her and still tries to protect her. She believes gran felt she was really ready to face the truth. Bo and Marlena walk up with very bad news. There is trouble with their visas! They suspect the problem was the doing of Stefano! John leaves a phone message for Vivian, since she is almost royalty in Alamania. Marlena goes to call a contact at the State Department. Hope confesses to John that she fears Stefano might start messing with them and she hates the idea. A flashback of John and Hope together in the past is shown. Young Hope/Gina whispers they will always be together as young John/pawn kisses her after he drawls that is exactly what he wanted her to say. Back to reality. Hope sighs Stefano did warn her she was opening a Pandora's box. John does not think he will be able to wreak havoc on their lives again. Hope, however, is not worried about THEIR lives! Meanwhile, Marlena is on hold and flashes back to John once telling her he slept with Hope when she was Gina and he was set up. Bo approaches, as he could not reach Carly or Nicholas for help with the visas. Marlena insists that no matter what happens, Stefano will not win! - At the elegant mansion, Stefano leaves yet another impatient phone message for Nicole, then notices his Katherine is preoccupied, She flashes back to Ian's closeness, him claiming he should never have let her go. She replies it is nothing but Stefano thinks someone is bothering her. He can read her like an open book. She pretends it is a work issue. He offers to handle it if need be. She kisses him. - At the town square, Nicole tries to talk EJ out of conceding. He would rather not appear a sore loser. Jen smugly states that is exactly what he is! EJ would like to know where EJ and Lexie are. He decides to go find them himself. Jen praises Nicole for handling her impossible candidate. Nicole smiles they should do lunch and flounces off to take a call. Jen wonders what she was so pleased about and then gets a call of her own. "What? You have got to be kidding me!" - Nearby, Lexie cries to Abe that there is no way he can justify acting like the dastardly DiMeras. She thought she could trust him, but she was wrong!
