| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Friday, February 17, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! HEARTBREAKERS - Part 2 - Lexie claims to EJ that it was just an emotional day. EJ politely congratulates her. Abe comes along and he congratulates him too, for winning fair and square. Lexie laments she is going to check on Theo and dismally steps away. Nicole appears and stops EJ from officially conceding. An irregularity has been found by the commission and the results are being challenged! She wants a recount! Jen takes Abe aside and gasps they have big trouble. The commission found evidence of ballot tampering. Both Jen and Abe cannot believe it, for they turned down her contact's offer to fix the vote. Jen deduces they have been set up! Meanwhile, Nicole smirks to EJ not to worry cos she took care of everything! - Victor repeats to Ian that he cannot work for him and the offer is hereby rescinded! Ian calmly states he has a contract. He cannot get rid of him. Brady growls he can think of a way. Ian suggests they focus on work, as he has wonderful ideas for Mad World and Titan. He shall see them in the morning and reminds his wife to be punctual. He now compliments Maggie on her dress, calls Victor a lucky man, and walks out. Maggie frowns. "What a jerk!" Victor intends to call his attorney and walks out. Maggie decides to give the young people their privacy. Brady snaps they have nothing to discuss and storms out. Madison tries to follow. Meanwhile, Victor complains to Maggie he was taken in by that freak with the walking stick. He pours himself a drink and grumbles it is all his fault. She points out Madison never let on she was married. Victor thinks still, Brady was right. He should know everything about everyone. His guard was down and this would never have happened before ... He stops and Maggie wants to know before what! Outside the house, Madison swears to tormented Brady that Ian is not the man who has her heart. She implores him to believe her. He has no answer. - Stefano kisses Kate. She wants to go out for a little while, to prepare at the office. Stefano would rather stay in and await Nicole's update. Kate says not to wait up and exits. He now makes his way to his desk, unlocks the drawer, and silently pulls out Alice's envelope. He sits back down and opens it with a letter opener, then gingerly pulls out the paper, turns it over, and reads. He drops his hand. "No. No." He shakes his head in utter shock. "This can't be!" - At the airport, Marlena was eventually able reach her contact at the State Department. The gang are now informed the visa problem has been cleared up. John boasts the good guys have won this round! - Kate walks around the town square, remembering Ian seductively saying how she gets to him, then literally runs into him! She wants him to step aside. He drawls she must be trying to forget about him. She quips he must do enough thinking about himself. He chuckles how she makes him laugh, reminds her of their chemistry and kisses her. She resists initially, then kisses him right back! - Roman and an official walk through the town square with Jen's now handcuffed contact. EJ goes to have a word with the official. Roman is certain Abe's campaign did not do anything dodgy, until Lexie comes along. She recognizes the man and gasps what has Abe done! Lexie rehashes how he even got the debate questions. Roman watches and listens. Abe begs Lexie to believe him that he had no part of this. She bitterly wonders why she should believe him. - Brady does not know who or what Madison is. She admits she lied but she loves him and she knows he loves her too. The tears stream down her cheeks. - Maggie realizes that Victor was about to say this would never have happened before he was married. The redhead is most miffed! - At the airport, the gang are informed by a customs officer that there has been a misunderstanding. Only Hope and John’s visas have been cleared to enter Alamania. Oops! - Back at the town square, Abe insists to Lexie that he and Jen told the guy not to fix the vote. She gasps she does not know who he is or what happened to the man she loved and runs away. Roman is sorry that he must take Abe down to the station to discuss this. And if EJ is named the winner, Salem is in big trouble! EJ and Nicole smugly watch the scene unfolding. EJ is pleased Nicole kept her word to take care of everything and holds her tight. - Back at the mansion, Stefano stands up and turns on the television. Due to alleged ballot tampering, a recount is underway. EJ DiMera could be the next mayor. The phoenix smiles, then returns to the paper from the envelope. He numbly sits down and cries like never before, his heart breaking from what he has learned on this day of his life ... END |
