He assumes it is about modeling, then suspects she is bothered by Chad ending their relationship, as it is Valentine's Day. She sighs that she is unhappy about someone else. Jack wonders if he knows him. Was it a rebound thing? Abigail laments she thought he was special and the one, though he does not feel the same way about her. Jack asks if the man led her on. She sighs maybe. Jack wants to know who he is, for this guy will answer to him! Abigail appreciates his support, though she must face this on her own. Jack acknowledges she is all grown up, but fears she could be vulnerable. She is sorry she was a brat when he first returned. He disagrees and informs her he just wants to protect her. He jokes he even joined a support group DADDE - Dads Against Daughters Dating Ever! Abigail smiles, then points out he and her mom met while she was in college. Yes, she was his intern. Abigail blurts out she loves her new guy. And she believes they would be great together. Jack wonders what is holding him back, then deduces there is someone. Abigail suddenly changes the subject, updates him on being back on track with BFF Mel, and forging ahead with the modeling plans. He has fixed it with her mom, has he not? Jack assures her he is working on it with Jen. As parents, they just want to protect her, which is why he wants to know the identity of the Cretan she is hung up on. He would like to kick his butt! Abigail hugs him. - Carrie snaps at sister Sami to back the hell off. But Sami insists she and Austin deserve the truth. Carrie flashes back to her kiss with Rafe, then clearly states that she is NOT in love with Sami's husband. Sami exclaims then why did she kiss him - cos she wanted to steal what she has. Carrie yells that vendetta she thinks she has against her is only in her head. She is her sister. Sami calls her the same selfish fickle bitch, warns clueless Austin he is a fool, and storms out. Carrie is upset. Austin is on her side. She has always loved him and he feels the same way. He suggests they spend the remainder of the day focusing on them. They decide to get some fresh air. They hug first and Austin vows all this will pass, but what they have will not pass! - Kayla is sitting with Johnny, Ally, and Sydney at the pub. Enter Rafe. They hug him and say they miss him. When is he coming home? Kayla is sympathetic. Rafe misses them too and he brought special treats and cards. The excited kids have a look. Kayla suggests they go decorate one of Caroline's cookies for Rafe. When the kids race off, she laments they will probably cry as soon as he leaves. Kayla has also noticed that Sami is out of sorts with herself. Perhaps she can help. Rafe now confesses Sami saw him kissing Carrie and he regrets it. She kicked him out. Kayla quietly listens. Rafe explains Carrie had problems with her marriage, but their kiss meant nothing. He helps himself to some coffee. Kayla now cautiously points out when she taught them how to waltz, there seemed to be a spark between them. Is he so sure there is nothing between them? Rafe insists he loves Sami. Kayla notes he has not answered her question. Enter Sami. Kayla discreetly excuses herself to check on the kids. Rafe uncomfortably wishes Sami a Happy Valentine's Day. She stares. - Kate is in her office on the phone with Marcus. She bellows at him to fix what he screwed up. Ian has entered and drawls she never changed, though she did get more beautiful. He is there to see her but she doubts it. He left her years ago with no forwarding address. He admires her and call her beautiful. He describes how her cheeks are flushed, her eyes are on fire. How he has missed her! Kate calls him a liar and demands to know what he really wants. He touches her hand and drawls life is too short to hold a grudge. She pulls her hand away and claims she does not hold grudges. She just has memories He recalls a special night they once shared in Paris. She reminds him that she has been in Paris with many interesting men. So why is he really here? To see her, but if she wants him to go, he will. Kate acts bored with his stroll down memory lane. He comes up behind her and breathes he could not stay away. She quips but he has, for a very long time. He murmurs into her hair that he is back. Kate turns and he hovers closely. He feels no one gets to him like her. She whispers she is married. There shall be no kiss. He soon learns she is the wife of Stefano DiMera. She points to the flowers he sent her today. And if he knew he was here, he would kill him! Ian notes he is older than her. It is hard to imagine she is satisfied with her sugar daddy. She raises her hand to slap him. He grabs it and kisses the palm, her blood red nails bright. - Brady is on the phone at the mansion. Madison enters and he is not pleased to see her. She wants to explain. He bitterly reminds her that her husband already did that. She declares she loves him. Brady is unable to conceal his disdain. "Get the hell out of here. Now!" She will not leave until she can explain. He yells that she has been lying. Why? She claims it is complicated. Brady recalls the family she told him about, but she failed to mention the fact that she had a living and breathing husband. She woefully states she had a good reason and never meant to hurt him. He thinks if she meant that, she would never have let him fall in love with her. She replies it is complicated and reminds him she said they should keep their relationship strictly professional. Then she lost control and fell for him. It is his fault, because he was the most wonderful man and she has never loved anyone like this. Brady snaps he would rather not hear any of what she has to say and gets himself a drink to dull the pain. She should go to her man and leave him alone! Tears streaming down her face, Madison informs him that she actually owes Ian her life. Brady argues she owed him the truth. All he cares is that she lied to him. Everything he thought she was has been a big fat lie! He gets choked up as he recounts what happened. Her husband was so smug to tell him who he was. She is sorry. She wishes she could go back and fix how she handled it. He wonders why she did not. She replies she does not know but he suspects she is still lying. She cries she does not want to lose him. - Carrie and Austin come upon Jack embracing his woeful daughter at the town square. Carrie wonders what is the matter. Austin stammers he is sorry they interrupted. Jack explains they were having a father/daughter moment. Abigail is grateful. Jack quips he just wishes he could get the guy who broke her heart! - Back at the pub, Rafe laments to Sami the kids believe he left them. She admits she did not know what to say. He misses the kids and also them. How can he convince her of that? She leers to stop kissing her sister and storms out in a huff. He follows her and asks to talk. She advises him to be fast about it. He is sorry he kissed Carrie and he means it. She realizes there were two of them and does not blame him mostly. She knows what Carrie is capable of and she was not exactly apologetic. She is of the opinion that Carrie likes to hurt her. Rafe doubts that. Sami gets miffed he is defending her. He states he does not want to fight. What does he have to say to convince her he wants to be home with her? She decides she has one question for him. She looks him in the eye. Does he have feelings for Carrie?
