"Are you out of your mind!" he exclaims and angrily jumps up. She assures him she is just posing some discreet questions. He orders her to stop. Marlena stares. He yells he is not messing around and does she hear him?! She gets mad. He urges her to leave this in Rafe's capable hands. She insists she is only offering her professional expertise and suggests they get to dessert. John's interest is piqued. She shakes the can of whipped cream and puts some on a strawberry, feeding it to him. He seductively tastes it and she finishes it, smiling this is much better than fighting. He murmurs he loves the way she fights and they kiss through the bars. - Back at the pub, Jen does not want to lose Dan, but she is unable to reconcile this with Jack. Dan suggests Jack is the one for her. She lights up every time she hears his voice and the past always comes up. He cannot and will not compete with the fact that they are in each other's blood. - Brady lights a few candles he got from the concierge. Madison slowly emerges, clad in a black negligee. He calls her beautiful and they kiss. The clothes start to come off and they get hot and heavy. He carries her to the bed, where they continue their lovefest. He chuckles about the petals on the bed and they keep making out. They are all over each other and she unfastens his pants ... - Back at the pub, Dan explains he knows he is not the best man for Jen, as she herself is not even sure. She is sorry she did this to him. He murmurs they tried, but are not meant to be. Jen gets teary-eyed. She would not be here if he had not saved her and taken care of her. He is right, and yet her heart is breaking. She cries she cannot imagine losing him. - John sits and holds Marlena through the bars as they both muse tonight would end differently if not for these bars. He misses being next to her. She woefully states they are lucky to have tonight and urges him not to get hurt in here. "Don't you get hurt out there," he whispers and nuzzles her cheek. - Dan walks Jen back to her house and hopes they can be friends again in time. He just wants her to be happy. A cold wind howls. Jen sadly states she loves him and is sorry she hurt him. She just wants him to be happy, too. Dan concludes they love each other but are not meant to be. Jen sniffles she feels her heart will jump out of her chest. He smiles he will not let it happen and goes on to praise her for showing him he could love again after Chloe. He will never regret a minute of the time they shared together. It has been a gift. The tears are streaming down Jen's face. She would like to at least hug him goodbye and cries when he embraces her. Dan now breaks away and walks into the cold night alone. Jen opens the front door and collapses inside, crying like she just lost her best friend ... END Next on Days of Our Lives Rafe puts a smile on Carrie's face when he announces they've got it, they are on their way to clearing John! At the pub, Austin questions Sami why she is in a rush to renew her vows with Rafe, given they just recently got married. Abigail stands before Jen and Mel and gasps she thinks she might have met someone else! They both look shocked. |
