Thursday, January 27, 2011 up at 5:22 pm est January 26 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! CRASH! - Lexie and Dan are at the busy hospital. He curses he forgot to call the elderly care agency for a lady to be picked up. Lexie points out Maxine caught it and she took care of it. Dan laments he is distracted. Lexie does not mind doing anything for him, given how he saved her nephew's eyesight. Dan sighs and looks at his paperwork. "I need to work!" Lexie asks about him and Chloe. He bitterly replies there is nothing left between them. - Chloe gives baby Parker his bunny and woefully flashes back to Dan returning it. She leaves Maggie a note and is off with the baby, cos she thinks it is worth a shot! Maggie emerges, to tell her she is thinking of making salad. She spies the note, reads it, and groans. - Chad enters the Cheatin Heart and asks Adrienne for a job. When he is 21! He offers to be a stock boy until then. No such openings. Adrienne says to write down his name and number and promises to call him if something comes up. He hands her his name as just Chad. She laughs he is like Cher and asks his last name. He admits he is not sure what his last name is and takes his leave. - At the law office. EJ drawls that was classic Samantha. Rafe returns. "Why did you expect? You ambushed her!" EJ coolly retorts it was a clerical error. Rafe sarcastically states he claims to be a changed man, but forgot to leave out that the former porn star was part of the agreement. EJ warns him to calm Samantha down or the deal is off. The one where she does not go to prison! Rafe does not think tormenting Sami is in the best interest of the children. EJ calls her volatile. Rafe rages about what he has put her through. He understands why she put a bullet in his head! Nicole raises her voice too and yells she could give him a long list of people who could attest to all Sami's wrongdoings. Elvis suddenly decides he has gone about it wrong. He should not have represented himself and insists he wants this to work. Perhaps another lawyer would have better clarified things from the start. He will call Samantha to apologize and invite her back to the table. Rafe disagrees and offers to talk to her to undo some of the damage. EJ suggests he make two things clear to her. Nicole is a part of the agreement and is not a threat to Samantha's relationship with her children. Rafe makes a snide remark and departs. Nicole notes he does not like her much. EJ coolly points out at least he recognizes what Samantha does not - that she has no choice! - Justin opens the Kiriakis door to Sami, who shows him the crumpled agreement in her hand. She needs his help to legally shove this down EJ's throat! She yells about EJ's twisted manipulations. Justin takes a look and admits he is one hell of an attorney. "This contract is tighter than a drum." However, they could always take it to a judge. Sami gets nervous. "No courts!" Justin suggests they introduce Nicole's history. No can do. Sami just wants a way to change EJ's mind. Justin suspects she is keeping something from him. She denies it. He states it is not a bad deal as he has seen worse. Sami denounces the deal cos she will not let Nicole in her children's lives. She would rather see her dead! Justin sternly warns her to stop such volatile thoughts or she will end up with even less than when the custody battle started. Sami is miffed. Justin wants her to talk to Rafe, not EJ, and they will continue their discussion in the morning. - At the hospital, Dr. Lexie checks on Johnny, who stirs. She smiles he is doing great. He wants his new frog. She gives it back from the chair and is pleasantly surprised to hear that someone called Chad gave it to him. - Victor drops by to invite Maggie for coffee and notes her long face. The redhead thinks something is wrong, as the distraught Chloel left her a note she was going for a walk. On a night like this?! - Chloe rushes into the hospital with Parker, insisting he is sick and needs Dr. Daniel! Nurse Maxine sees her in a room and points out he is fine. Dan enters. Chloe exclaims Parker was fussing and she knows something is wrong. Maxine insists he is fine. Dan drawls to Maxine that he will take it from here. Once she is gone, he demands to know what Chloe is doing. This is a hospital! There are people in need who are waiting for him and she is playing charades! She reminds him the baby is his. He snaps he has Phillip's genes. She is sorry. Dan offers to call someone to pick her up. She asks for Maggie. Maggie is always sweet to her. And so Maggie and Victor soon arrive. Daniel tells them about her bogus claim that Parker was ill. The redhead knows she is beside herself. Dan drawls he was hard on her and she is crying in an exam room. Maggie heads off to see her. Victor now asks if Dan thinks she is capable of even looking after that baby. Dan explains they have to file a report with child services ... Maggie finds Chloe crying in the exam room. She laments Dan hates her more than ever. Maggie consoles her. - At the Brady pub, Lexie notices Chad on his computer and says hello. He asks after Johnny and invites her to have a seat. She does and informs him the boy is doing as well as can be expected medically. He is facing a major adjustment after leaving the hospital. Chad realizes she means what happened might hit him once he gets home. Lexie adds his family life is complicated. But Chad is more than welcome to join their family if he wishes. He is not sure what to say. Lexie smiles he made an impression on Johnny with the frog and she thinks he would love to see him again. Chad calls him a great kid. Lexie thinks he sounds like a great kid, too! Chad is modest. Lexie praises him for making little Johnny feel better and points out he is his nephew. She explains he does not have to take on the whole DiMera clan en masse. In fact, he could spend time with Johnny without having to see Stefano. Chad is surprised. Lexie admits she has had issues with her father and brother so she keeps a little distance. He calls them bad people. Lexie sighs. When it comes to father, bad is a relative term. She does love him so she would rather be evasive. Chad admits he is scared he could take over his life. Lexie agrees he should be. But if he wants to test out what it means to be a DiMera, he has her support. She believes he would be a really nice addition to their family. "So think about it." Exit Lexie. - Rafe is waiting for Sami at the loft. When she returns, he is sorry for what happened. He is supposed to talk to her and be rational, though he really just wants to go beat the crap out of the guy! Sami smiles the dark side of his personality is sexy. She explains lawyer Justin already clarified everything. Nevertheless, she will never be able to accept Nicole, whom EJ wants to tie to her forever! She does not want her looming over her. Rafe reminds her she will be in the kids' lives once EJ marries her. Sami cannot believe he would even do that after all she did. Rafe replies maybe he forgave her. Sami decidedly states she has not forgiven Nicole. Rafe assures her at least she will be able to keep an eye on Nicole. Either she accepts the offer or it goes away. He must step away to take a call. Sami storms off, deciding she needs some air. Rafe discovers she is gone and takes off after her, worried what she is up to now. - At the now closed Cheatin Heart, Adrienne is alone doing inventory. Enter Justin. They joke about the past. He is there as a sad custody fight made him realize "What a really classy dame you are!" Adrienne's face lights up. They have beer together and she thanks him. They remember their kids, their past. Jobs and money just do not seem so important now. Justin drawls their jobs have brought them back together. Adrienne agrees the long distance thing didn't work. Justin admits he loves her. Adrienne whispers no matter how mad she got, she never stopped loving him. He seconds the motion and leans forward for a loooong kiss. - EJ and Nicole return to DiMera mansion. He remarks she is quiet. She wonders if he really meant it is good for his children to have her around. She would like to know where she stands. Where she wants to. He points out she spent two years trying to be part of Sydney’s life. She is still concerned about Rafe. He hopes she is not having second thoughts and assures her she is sitting pretty. If Rafe cannot bring Samantha on board, then she will be the only mother that Johnny and Sydney have! He pours them both a martini and toasts to domestic tranquility. How is it? Nicole smiles it is perfect. "Dirty, just the way I like it. Strangely, you're the only one who gets it right!" He grins. She later suggests they call Roman to check on the children. EJ thinks it is not necessary. They will be back home soon and he does not want to seem aggressive. Nicole realizes he does want the agreement to work out. He is hoping for a happy ending. She hopes he is right. - Sami is driving on the snowy roads. Rafe is following in his car. He calls out for her to slow down, then yells "Watch out!" They both swerve. She continues driving fast, impatient with the others on the road. - Back at the Cheatin Heart, Adrienne stands up and locks the door. She informs Justin they will have a very happy hour. They start to make out and he lifts her up on the pool table with a naughty grin. She giggles. - Victor Kiriakis solemnly places a call. "Kate, we need to talk about our grandson ..." - Meanwhile, Maggie comes out of her kitchen to take the next feeding. She finds Chloe rocking back and forth in a daze, clutching Parker's blanket. - Back at the hospital, Maxine hands Dan the child services form to sign. She wonders if they should just let it go, as the poor child needs help. Dan signs, as he feels it might help her, and hands it back to the nurse. He then calls Mel, as he needs to talk to her about something ... - Back at DiMera mansion, EJ gets off the phone with Stefano, having assured him Hernandez is on board. He will fill him in when he arrives in a few minutes. EJ now notices Nicole looking at photos of the children. Time to get new ones taken with her in them, for their happy family ... - Meanwhile, on the road, Rafe and Sami are still driving. It is dark and visibility is poor. Rafe wishes Sami would slow down, then suddenly swerves again. The sound of screeching tires is heard. Sami turns back in horror. "Oh my God! Rafe!" Next on Days of Our Lives "Why is it so damn hard for you to forgive me!" Chloe screams at Dan. Carly looks at Jennifer. "My God! I knew what was going on here!" Stefano bears news for Elvis and Nicole. "Rafael Hernandez was just in a very serious car accident." |
