| Friday, September 30, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE - Part 2 - Rafe's FBI associate wants them to proceed before the target leaves. Rafe desperately tries to call Sami one more time. He has no luck in reaching her. - Chad and Abigail sit and she informs him she spoke to Mel. She praises him for being so understanding. He teases he gets family complications. Abigail is upset. How could Jack expect her to be happy to see him? - The reporters descend upon Nicole and ask Mrs. DiMera if it is true that EJ recently saved her life She admits it is true and tells them to talk to the police. EJ intervenes and gets them to leave her alone. Once they are not within earshot of the press, Nicole snaps to stop using her for his campaign. EJ follows her as the cameras flash. He charmingly explains he did not plan to use her. It is just that they asked about what happened. He realizes she might not support his candidacy. She reminds him she will not be his wife much longer anyway and would like to know his motivation for running. To improve his name, for the sake of Syd and Johnny. She has her doubts about him changing. He points out they are both who they are. However, he can still change how others view him. Nicole considers. - Marlena talks to Austin and Carrie. She blanches upon hearing Austin has work to do concerning the FCC's investigation of misallocation of pension funds. She gets back to John,who has rejoined Roman and Abe. He has something to tell the mayor and it could be very serious. Abe and Roman are all ears. - Back at the house, Jen continues to obsess about Jack to Dan. She wants to know why he did this, why did he hurt them again, just when they got used to being without him? - Victor walks Maggie into the middle of the town square and raises his hand, illuminating a message with magic. WILL YOU MARRY ME? it says. The redhead is reduced to tears. The guests and reporters ooooh and ahhhh. He takes her hands. He loves her and she makes him feel like a teenager. Mel and Hope watch with happiness. The Greek tycoon smiles. "Maggie, will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He opens the ring box and she cries the ring is beautiful. - Bo assures Hope that Victor intends to protect Maggie. Hope agrees they love each other and as they well know, that means they will be able to survive anything. Bo and Hope kiss. - Back at the house, Jen confesses to Dan that since she and Jack have two children, she cannot tell him he is out of her life. She asks Dan to hold her. He does. Meanwhile, Jack prepares to knock at the front door, having just arrived to explain his story. - Back at the town square, EJ and Nicole watch. She calls marriage a fraud. He quips it is hard not to be jaded. Nicole wonders where his date is. Stefano saunters up and makes a snide remark about Victor's choice of wife improving. Nicole decides that is her cue. EJ stops her and asks if he has her vote. She smiles it depends on where he stands, wishes him good luck, and walks away after pausing to give him a long look. - EJ pats Stefano on the shoulder when he sees a somber Rafe and his FBI associate approaching John. Rafe stands before John and drawls he hates to do this. - Maggie calls Victor a real romantic but the moment is interrupted by gasps and camera flashes. The John Black commotion fills the town square. Bo asks Rafe what he is doing. His job. "John Black, you are under arrest for embezzlement, securities fraud, and misappropriation of pension funds ..." - Carrie gasps this is what Austin was talking about. Mayor Abe wonders what is going on. - Rafe reads John his rights as the other FBI agent slaps the cuffs on him. John holds his head high. Marlena touches his arm, her eyes filled with dread ...!
