| Thursday, October 6, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! PRIME SUSPECT - Part 2 - Back at the station, Austin and Carrie approach Bo and Hope. Carrie asks about John's lawyers, as they have not been returning her calls. Enter Roman, with bad news. - Down in his cell, John gets quiet. Marlena wonders how there could be evidence against him, as he was not even working. How could anyone think he could swindle anyone?! He laments he would have been able to stop what was going on, if he had paid more attention to his company. Marlena is perplexed. Still, where could all that money have gone? Enter Roman. He announces John's lawyers have quit. Marlena asks why. Roman only knows they asked to be removed from his case and the judge agreed. Marlena calls that outrageous. Now what? John woefully shakes his head. - Outside the pub, EJ tells Lexie he understands. She gasps he has hurt her. Does he not care? She reminds him that when everyone, including Stefano, turned against him, she stood by him and this is how he repays her?! He should have come to her first, to forewarn her he wanted to run for mayor. He insists he did this for the family name. Lexie argues he went about this in the most underhanded way and when the kids are old enough to understand, it will backfire. EJ apologizes. Lexie points out Theo is his family, too. He is so focused on his kids, but what about hers? "We're family, damn it!" She starts to cry he does not seem to care, then warns if he hurts Abe or Theo again, he will be out of her life forever! EJ blinks. She adds what hurts her the most is she had once thought they had something special. She never for a moment suspected he would turn on her too. It breaks her heart. She goes back in the pub. EJ raises his eyes to the heavens and sighs. - Back at the station, Bo explains to Carrie and Hope that the lawyers must have been made nervous by the bad reaction of the public. They could still get John new council. Austin suggests they do it fast, so he does not have to spend another dangerous night in jail ... - At the pub, EJ rejoins Nicole. It pains him to see his sister unhappy, but he still intends to be mayor! Lexie and Abe are sitting at their table nearby. Nicole tells EJ she wants to get him on camera. She does not think he is listening. He asks her to continue. She wants to know what he is thinking about. He has a fundraising idea and it concerns John Black. He could be an important part of the campaign. Nicole is baffled. EJ elaborates with a smirk. "John Black doesn't know it yet, but he's going to help me win this election!" - At the station, Austin complains he does not know how to get John out. Carrie grins that she does. - Meanwhile, John, Roman, and Marlena discuss the situation. Roman admits the request and approval granted by the judge happened too fast. Like someone powerful was pulling the strings. John knows what that means. It has the stamp of his arch enemy DIMERA. "Stefano's gotta be behind all of this!" concludes the former pawn ...
