Wednesday, October 5, 2011 up on October 4 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! BAD COMPANY PART 1 - At the town square, Kate knows it is no coincidence that Madison, Victor, and Brady are together. She wants answers. Vic coos Madison is an old friend. Kate gets mad that Brady is carrying files. What the hell?! Victor grins and introduces her as his ex-wife. Madison talks about how nice the town square looks. Vic mentions both women are in the cosmetics business. Madison coolly states she hopes that will not be a problem, as she is Titan's newest business partner. Kate retorts Victor's business sense is dubious at best. Victor believes Madison having a cosmetics company with them and opening offices at the same place as her is a good idea. Kate points out it was HER idea. And if he has shared any of her business plan with him, she will SUE! Madison claims she will not be using her ideas. Brady and Victor taunt Kate. Madison says she will kick her butt. Kate retorts she will sue them all and win! It is easy to talk a good game, but it takes more than just cleavage. Madison boasts of her proven track record and suggests Kate give up. Kate will not and warns in a couple of months they will see who is still standing! Madison thinks she does not recognize quality or innovation. Kate thinks Victor is in over his head. He drawls he knows about profits and Mad World has lots of that. Kate insists they will drop. She intends to make Countess Wilhelmina so successful that it will bury Madison. Madison suggests she bring it on. Kate will and adds this is very personal. She will bring her down! - At the pub, woeful Dan complains to Mel about the Jack situation. Mel wrongly assumes he has been drinking. He sighs he just could not sleep all night. He asked Jen to move in with him, but then Jack fell into the cake. "He's baaaack and it changes everything!" Mel reminds him it does not change how he feels about her. They hug. Maggie enters and is also sympathetic toward Abigail and Jennifer. But how can Jack make up for what he has done? Maggie thinks that Dan leaving them alone to talk was the right thing to do. Dan cannot believe or understand how Jack could leave his family by choice, as he did. Mel notes that doing nothing is killing Dan. He sighs he hates it. Maggie assures him that Jen has been happy with him. He should have faith that what they have will endure. Dan is more concerned that Jack will only hurt Jen again. He vows not to let it happen. - At Horton house, Abigail is upset her mother has believed her father's crazy story about being held hostage in Afghanistan. Jen insists he would not have turned his back on his kids. Abigail cries it is the same old thing and just when they had all moved on! Jen tries to console her daughter and explains she found it tough to believe at first. Abigail points out even if it is true, he went undercover in Afghanistan. He took a big risk and kept her in the dark. She never wants to see him again but Jen urges her to hear him out. Abigail cannot believe she is going to forgive him. Jack enters and states he hopes so! He has shaved off his beard and entered as the door was open. Abigail lashes out at him for vanishing and keeping secrets. He quietly admits he was wrong. She is tired of hearing such things from him. He cares only about himself, not them! Jack concedes he has made mistakes, but does love his family. Abigail snaps at him for choosing his job over them. Jen tries to intervene. Abigail yells at her for defending him. Jack barks not to talk to her mother like that. Abigail cries and screams he vanished for months and they did not even know if he existed! How could he not realize they would worry? They thought he was not coming back! "How could you do this to us, daddy?" Jack stares. Jen tries to calm her down, but the girl continues screaming and calls her father selfish, then cries she does not even matter to him. He emotionally replies she and her mother mean everything to him. She cries he walked out again and again and sobs on her mother's shoulder. Jack sadly admits he has not been a reliable father or husband and he is deeply sorry. - At the loft, Sami obsesses to Rafe and Will that she has not been called about the job. Will and Gabi discuss a football player they interviewed. Sami compliments them on the website. Will states they are getting hits from all over, not just the university. All of a sudden, some news appears online about John being arraigned. Will is perplexed. Should they not be there? Sami explains mama Marlena does not want the family exposed to the media circus. She suggests he send her a text. He thinks that is not sufficient but agrees anyway and goes off to do it. Once they are alone, Sami confides to Rafe that the claustrophobic jail must have felt like hell to John. Rafe checked up on him and he seemed alright. Sami reminds him John hides his feelings well. Later, Gabi, Rafe, and Will discuss sports. Sami gets the call she has been waiting for and steps into the next room. A loud scream is heard She runs out laughing she got the job and throws herself into Rafe's arms. He twirls her around and they kiss. She is thrilled she is employed. Rafe wonders who she will be working for. Sami boasts they are looking at the new junior executive at Mad World Cosmetics. Gabi shrieks with excitement. She loves their products. Will suggests Sami check out Mad World's website. Rafe gets out the bubbly stuff and proposes a toast to Sami as a working woman. Sami thanks them for their support.
