| Wednesday, October 26, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE CLOSER YOU GET - Part 2 - Austin explains to mama Kate he knows this situation is not perfect. Kate calls Sami trouble, but Austin remarks Rafe is the problem! He complains how he suspects he was the one who gave the FBI the info against him. Kate would like to know if he did. No, though he warned him of the consequences of his actions. Rafe was not wrong, but what he did was. He got caught and paid the price. Nevertheless he feels bad for the guy. Kate quips she feels sorry for anyone married to Sami. Austin wants to change the subject. Kate confesses she is worried John's problems are spreading like wildfire, so who else will get burned? - Back at the town square, Chad invites his girl Abigail to see a bloody Scorsese film. She is not into that kind of movie. She only likes fun flicks, not depressing ones. Meanwhile, Gabi and Will decide to go to dinner and a movie. Chad is still thinking of movies. He mentions Taxi Driver, which he will be seeing at the university. Mel comes along and they recite a line from the movie together, then laugh, and high five each other. Abigail watches jealously. She later offers to go with Chad. He suggests they do something else. She insists they go together and smiles she knows Scorsese will grow on her. They kiss. - At DiMera mansion, EJ informs Stefano that Nicole understands him and he will not fire her. The phoenix thinks that is a mistake. Nicole enters for a moment to announce the crisis management people are here. EJ thanks her. Once she is gone, Stefano sighs he hopes she will not cause him any more damage. Later, EJ praises Nicole's handling of the crisis management team. Stefano acknowledges she impressed them. However, she has yet to impress him! He gives her a look and she meets his glare. She exclaims she made mistakes, but she has learned from them and is determined to help EJ win as mayor. Maybe then he will admit he was wrong about her! Stefano walks out. Nicole laments he wants to fire her and gets close to EJ. He tenderly promises he will not fire her. She knows he hired her to help his public image, but what else? She deals with things well, says he. She thanks him for not giving up on her. He grins most of the things in that column are already known anyway. The mood is light. She gets closer and he gazes into her eyes. He murmurs he likes that she really knows him. And she had the courage to call him out to his face. He looks her up and down and mentions her assets, her gifts he would not want to lose. Their lips are inches away ... - Austin seeks out Marlena outside and tells her that he is not turning on John. She is upset he is part of a team that wants to put John in jail for life. Austin is dismayed this situation has caused problems for him and Carrie, Marlena, and also Rafe. He did not sell him out to the FBI! He must do his job within the parameters of the SEC, but he is not turning on John. He never would. Marlena smiles she believes him. - Sonny and Chad see that the gambling poster has suggested their fellow posters put 100 on Salem. No doubt about the gambling now! And this person is using their website to do it! Chad is worried as they could be shut down for this. They both realize the post has been deleted. The person did that so as not to leave a trail. They must find out who it is. - Stefano arrives at the pub, sits with Kate, makes a comment about Austin, and complains about Chad not being around. Kate informs him that EJ is there for him. Stefano grumbles he has concerns and they are about something more serious than just a newspaper column. He is seeing someone. Kate recalls how she suggested he find himself the right woman, then gasps when she realizes it is Nicole. It is not even about Sydney anymore. Stefano sincerely hopes that his son has not fallen in love with his wife! - Back at the mansion, Nicole touches EJ, who is gently tugging at some of the fabric of her elegant dress. She then pulls away and whispers she has a meeting. EJ turns around. Before she goes, he wants her to know she was not the only one affected by that brush with death. Nicole stares longingly, then exits. EJ longingly turns back around, but alas she is gone ...! Next on Days of Our Lives Bo and Hope are disguised as cleaners at the clinic. Hope thanks him for going along with her plan, as she knows it was pretty risky for both of them. In the dark office of the clinic, Hope is at the computer as Bo watches. She whispers "Brady, we are almost there." All of a sudden, the beam of a flashlight is shone under the door! Maggie is surprised to see Bo and Hope at the Kiriakis mansion. "So, what is this?" she wonders. Hope excitedly hands her a paper! |
