BREATHLESS - Part 2 - Austin informs Carrie he gave up the hotel room and was then unable to get it back, hence his current living arrangement. Carrie wants to know why he gave it up. He states it is complicated. Carrie wonders if the good relationship she has been having with Sami was too good to be true. He insists it is not. She will be home soon, but wants Austin somewhere other than Sami's place, given their history. Austin totally understands. He cannot wait for her to get home and tells her he loves her. Once the call is over, Sami pressures Rafe to share what Carrie said about John's case. Good news? Rafe drawls he cannot tell them and suggests they not ask again. Sami presses. Rafe retorts it is confidential. Sami reminds him he is no longer professionally involved, but Rafe will not say anything in front of Austin, whom he feels wants to put away John. Austin denies the charge. Rafe insists his lips are sealed, praises Carrie, and goes to take a shower. Sami fumes. Austin suggests perhaps Rafe is doing the right thing. Perhaps by keeping quiet, he is helping protect Carrie's job. He sighs she is not happy about him being there and he is determined to get a new place to stay. Then they will all be happier. Sami does not deny it. - At the clinic, the administrator is sorry she cannot give out the name of the patient. She can only confirm that those eggs were received. Maggie angrily wonders what about her rights! That woman did something she did not approve! The administrator mentions the reputation of the clinic. Maggie gets madder. The administrator remarks they could lose their license for sharing confidential information. Hope argues that she and Bo are cops and this was not legal. The administrator wishes she could help but is unable to do anything without a court order. She exits. Maggie is upset. Bo vows they will get past this. Maggie explodes. She will go to a lawyer, get that court order, and come back. Nothing will stand in the way of her finding her child! Legal eagle Justin will be able to do it. Bo and Hope lament it will be very difficult. Maggie realizes all they need to know is in the clinic computer and yet she has no rights. Hope promises to fight until they learn who her child is. Teary-eyed Maggie walks out to splash water on her face. Hope and Bo think this is all wrong. Hope asks what they are going to do about it, in that case! - At the restaurant, Madison overhears Brady telling Marlena that he is glad his dad has her, though that is all he can say. Marlena murmurs not to be a stranger and departs. Madison sits back down. Brady is sorry he took so long and adds it was family related. Madison notes that he and his father do not seem to be close. Brady drawls some stuff never ends. Marlena wants him to reach out to help him. Madison wonders if he is staying away because of the indictment. Does he think John is guilty? Brady confides he does not. John is no criminal, but an altruistic kind of guy. He would never steal from anyone. Madison calls that interesting, as he appears to care more about his father than he is willing to admit. Brady pretends he does not care. Madison points out that Titan is not criticizing John like the other news outlets. Brady must be making sure of it, as his father matters to him. - Rafe is taking a hot, steamy shower. Nekid Sami joins him and puts her hands all over him. They start to kiss. Rafe claims they are still not talking. Sami smiles and agrees. She calls him the only man she loves! They keep kissing and are engulfed in the steam of their lives ... - Back at the clinic, Bo and Hope have a plan. He wants her to be careful and places a possessive arm around her waist. She stares at the computer a few feet away. He reminds her they cannot afford to get caught. Hope raises an eyebrow. "Then let's not ...! " Next on Days of Our Lives "You want to be mayor? Fire her today!" Stefano orders EJ. EJ quietly replies "Nicole knows me. Fatha, I trust Nicole." "You're in love with Nicole!" concludes the phoenix. |
