| Thursday, October 20, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! FIRED - Part 2 - Chad, Mel, and Dan happily return to the town square from costume shopping. Mel giggles she would have been his bride if he wanted to be Frankenstein. Dan hopes he is not bringing down the mood. Mel assures him he is not. She gets silly and chases Chad around, giggling she will drink his blood. Dan grins at the cute kids. - Back at Horton house, Jen informs Abigail that she feels God has given her a chance to fix the family. She now enlightens her daughter that she will date both guys at the same time, to see what is right. Abigail thinks she has lost her mind. She accuses her of stringing Dan the man along and criticizes her father. Jen exclaims this is the best she can do. Abigail warns that she will have no part of any reunion with Jack. Jen points out they are lucky he returned. Abigail yells she wishes he was still stuck in that cave. She and Jen now realize Jack has overheard. He states he understands. Jen insists Abigail did not mean it. Jack explains he could not give up, as he did not want to live with never seeing his daughter again. He declares he is not leaving his family again. Abigail wonders what if another killer story comes along. Jack insists nothing will change. Jen asks her to give her father a chance. Abigail announces this time she will not wait to see what happens. He has already lost her and if Jen is giving him a chance, then she deserves whatever she gets. Exit angry Abigail. - Back at the pub, Austin complains to Sami that his hotel TV will not work and he misses Carrie terribly. Sami impulsively invites him to come stay at the loft. The kids would love it! Austin is not sure. What about Carrie? Sami reasons Carrie would be fine with it. Austin brings up Rafe. What would he say? Even if he was alright with the arrangement, he is not sure Carrie would accept it. Sami argues she has changed and Carrie is fine with her. Austin agrees the two sisters are getting along well. They walk out of the pub together and Sami presses him to come stay at the loft. He admits he would like to see the kids. Is he saying yes? Austin grins he is. - At the town square, Mel and Chad are giggling and playing tug of war with a shopping bad as Dan watches the fun. Abigail storms over. She coldly informs them of Jen seeing Dan and Jack at the same time. Dan explains he is giving her mother time and space. Abigail screams Jack will hurt her. Dan explains her mother is a big girl. Abigail wants to know if he is really okay about it. No he is not, but he is crazy in love with her enough to ride this out. Abigail snaps he could lose her. Dan cares about her enough to risk it. He just wants her to be happy. Mel sadly shakes her head. She puts her arm around Abigail, who apologizes for making a scene. She then spies the shopping bags, most curious about what Chad got. Mel teases it was the wrong costume and proceeds to chase him around. Chad laughs she is a punk and she giggles. Abigail stares at them jealously. - Back at Horton house, Jen has decided that she should not see Jack anymore after all. His face falls. She had said she is doing this for her kids and he believes they all need to be a family, to heal together. Jen looks down. Jack gets that it is hard, but if they push through one more date and then another, they will remember what it was like to be happy. He begs her to give it a shot. "For your family." - Austin is getting off the phone as he and Sami arrive at the loft. Rafe is sitting alone on the sofa, staring into space. Sami explains that Austin will be staying with them for a while. Rafe stands up. "It was you wasn't it?!" He then hauls off and slugs a stunned Austin in the face. "That's for getting me fired!" Next on Days of Our Lives As the heated exchange continues ... AUSTIN You're wrong! RAFE (pushing) Am I wrong? Am I? SAMI (intervening) Stop it! AUSTIN (to Rafe) What is all this concern with Carrie? SAMI I kind of want to know the answer to that, too. SAMI I believe him. He didn't get you fired. RAFE So, you're on his side?! |
