| Tuesday, October 18, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Secrets and Surprises - Part 2 - Rafe explains to Carrie that the waiter at the Parisian café said he saw John there. However, an orderly at the Swiss clinic also said he saw John at the clinic on the exact same day. John could not have been two places at the same time! Rafe suspects the waiter is lying. They need to interview the honest guy at the clinic. Rafe does not intend to let an innocent man go to prison. Carrie asks if Austin knows about this orderly. No. She hugs and thanks Rafe. She will leave for Switzerland today. He offers to pick her up at the hotel room and take her to the airport. Exit Rafe. John and Marlena emerge. He wants to know what that was all about. Carrie smiles thanks to Rafe, they might have caught a break. There is hope, but she has not told Austin, and they should not repeat anything she tells them. John urges her to proceed with caution. She will, though she must go out of town. She advises John not to take any chances, as the threat is still out there, then hastily leaves. John grins there is hope. Marlena is elated and they embrace. - Back at the loft, Sami and Madison drink tea and talk. She asks if boss Madison has kids. Not presently. Madison asks about her kids. Sami tells her how she started rather young, but considers herself lucky with Will. Commotion in the other room requires her attention again. When Sami comes back, Madison gets a text that Kate is ready. She is secretly launching something to fight wrinkles, but Madison found out and is now ready to counter-launch their own cream. Sami cannot wait to see Kate's reaction. Madison thinks she would be the perfect person to compete against Kate and head up the whole launch! Sami is not sure. Madison points out that she is down to earth and knows what women want. Of course, she will help her every step of the way. Sami is surprised to hear she just decided this morning, given how she handled the chaos of today. She is a great mom and will be a fab addition to Mad World Cosmetics. She hugs Sami, who is pleasantly surprised. - Back at the pub, Will tries to convince Sonny not to quit and let the hater win. Gabi notices that people are already disagreeing with the rude poster. Looks like sensitive Sonny will not be quitting! - Back at the hotel room, Carrie is packing when Austin arrives. He has received her vague text about going out of town. He is dismayed when she refuses to tell him where she is going. Knock knock knock! Tis Rafe, there to pick her up. Things get even more tense. - Back at the town square, Mel tells Abigail she knows what it is like not to have a dad around. At least Jack showed he cares. Chad returns with the coffee and agrees Jack went ballistic. Mel thinks they should try for Jack to get to know him, as he does love his daughter. Abigail doubts it. Gabi, Will, and Sonny soon join them and update them on the forum gay basher. Mel is bothered that people do these mean things anonymously. Sonny knows he must keep working on the site, to help others who might experience the same bigotry. Mel takes Abigail aside to talk more about parents. She forgave Carly as she realized she did what she did out of love for her. Parents are only human and family is the most important thing so she should rethink her position. Abigail considers. Nearby, Will kisses Gabi and states he is lucky to have her in his life. Meanwhile, Chad has been checking out the website and quietly informs Sonny the gay bashing was not all. They have even bigger problem on their hands ... - Austin is none too pleased that Carrie is having Rafe drive her to the airport instead of him. He and Carrie exchange their I love yous and he unhappily departs to go back to the office. Carrie sighs that was most uncomfortable. Rafe replies he is a good guy. Now to the lead. He will tell her all about the orderly en route. Carrie remarks it just has to work. Otherwise, John could be facing life in prison. - Back at the townhouse, John has finished going over the statements and muses that if he had this evidence, he too would put him in prison! Marlena remains optimistic about Carrie. John loathes being under house arrest and is thankful Marlena is there with him. She assures him she will always be there for him. He kisses her passionately and holds her tight... Next on Days of Our Lives "If I am found guilty, your chances of winning this election are shot to hell!" John warns Abe. "I am not going to hide my head in shame. I'm gonna make a statement to the public!" John announces to Marlena, Abe, and Lexie. A crash causes Lexie and Abe to react in astonishment. John pulls Marlena away from the window and yells to get back. |
