SLAPS AND SECRETS - Part 2 - Stefano warns Marlena to stop the ridiculous accusations or else things will only get worse for the man she claims to love! Marlena gives him a defiant look. "Did you just threaten me?!" He tells her she may interpret it any way she likes, but he will not have her barrrrging in and accusing him. She brings up his past wrongdoings. He insists that his affection is elsewhere, as he has Katherine in his life, though Marlena will always have a special place in his heart. She suggests he prove he has a heart by undoing this and giving her and John the life they deserve. "Maybe you could just do it for me ..." Stefano wants her to give it a rest. The John he knew would not have embezzled anyone, but this John has been through much. Perhaps it has pushed him to do things. Stefano adds he is sorry. Marlena quips he has lied so many times that even if he were telling the truth, she would not believe him! - Dan sits down with Jen as Jack suspiciously observes. Dan is not so sure how he would be able to experience life without her, though he understands what this is doing to her. Therefore, he will step aside and let her go back to Jack. Jack zooms in and grins. "Guess that's that!" Jen cannot believe Dan would do this. He drawls life is a gamble. Before Jack literally fell into their lives, he could not imagine letting her go. He was preparing to invite her to move in, but now he cannot ask her to take a chance on him when she has a chance to mend her family. Family is everything and he wants her to be happy. He kisses her and saunters away. Jen rushes after him and hugs him, crying. She does not want to lose him. Dan promises she will not have to. Jack is miffed. Now what? Should Jen start seeing both of them?! Dan decides maybe that is exactly what she should do! - Maggie continues reading the letter from Alice aloud. Alice wrote she had news that could change her life and make her happy, after the initial shock. She wrote how Maggie and Mickey had once considered using unconventional means to try and have a child. Doctors harvesting eggs for future use. Eventually they gave up, though the doctor might have kept some of the eggs. That led Alice to do some investigating. And she found out a baby was born from one of those eggs."You have another child." Maggie sits down and starts to cry. "I have another child!" - Austin and Carrie are in bed and he gasps he loves her so much. She loves him too and they proceed to show each other. - Back at the mansion, Marlena insists Stefano will not win this time. After all John has survived, he will not defeat him. He will, however, pay dearly. Stefano chuckles he almost wishes he were responsible. He advises Marlena to remove those rose colored glasses, for John is guilty indeed and will be held accountable! Exit Marlena. Stefano shakes his head. - Austin and Carrie are nekid under the sheets. Carrie does not want anything to come between them. Austin promises he will not let it and they kiss again ... - Back at the town square, Jack is shocked by Dan's unconventional suggestion. Dan reasons if Jen goes with one of them now, there will be wondering and possible regrets. If she spends time with each of them, she will see how she feels. Jack asks Jen her opinion. Jen is not sure. This seems out there. Jack does not like the idea and wants Dan to walk away like he said he would. Dan points out that is not what Jen wants. She agrees. Dan declares they will all play this out naturally until she chooses, though he will not do this forever. Jen nods earnestly. - Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Hope asks Maggie whether she is alright. Maggie gasps. "How is this possible!" She had not thought of this for years. Hope laments that was the only page, as Alice passed away before she finished the letter. Bo explains what she wrote on that page is all they know. Maggie numbly notes she has a child out there but does not even know if it is a boy or a girl. "Where is my child?" she cries as Vic places a reassuring hand on her shoulder, his eyes darkening ... Next on Days of Our Lives "If I had to go by what's in this box, I'd send me to prison!" John informs Marlena. "We have to have more than John's word here and we're running out of time!" Carrie explains to John and Marlena. Rafe is on the phone, talking to team John. "I may have found something that could be of big help in your case!" John’s eyes narrow. |
