He thinks this whole situation is a heart breaker. She assures him Nick will step up and protect his sister. He is grateful Sami told him what was going on. She now has a favor and implores him to go easy on Will. She was the one who advised her son to be there for Gabi. Rafe thinks he might have overdone it but Sami does not. Rafe now laments he has no one but himself to blame for not knowing as he did not pay attention to his sister’s life. Sami notes she will never share every aspect of her life with her brother. He teases when did she get so wise. She teases she always has been he just stopped noticing. He appreciates her helping and understands she was sworn to secrecy. This feels like old times for the pair …At least this is one secret that made them closer! Sami’s phone rings and she gasps she has to get back to the office to work on the new lipstick. Rafe grins a goofy grin and thanks her again. For being by his side too. She assures him Gabi will be fine as she has him on her side. That makes her lucky. They stand and smile at each other. Sami now flounces off. - Will numbly returns to the coffee house. Sonny is glad to see him as he got the rest of the money he needed from an ATM. Will sighs he does not need it and something happened. Sonny wonders if this has anything to do with Gabi. He hopes he did not make things worse. - Nick scolds Gabi for not telling him she was pregnant, given he was at the hospital with her when she got the news. She moans it is complicated. He demands the truth. She now informs him he is not the father but the genius already knew as much. “You’re damn right I’m not!” - Sonny decides he does not want to know what is going on between Chad and Gabi anyway and tells Will Chad’s strange reaction as they sit at a table. He went ballistic. Will wonders if he might have gone after Gabi. Sonny thinks it could be possible. Will bolts to find and forewarn her. - Gabi wonders why Nick never said anything before. He did not wish to humiliate her in front of everyone. He accuses her of playing him. She insists she would have told him but he has his doubts. He suspects she could not tell him the truth about the baby, just like she could not tell him the truth about what really transpired between herself and Chad! - Brady is glad to see John in front of the Brady pub and invites him for a coffee. John drawls he will take a rain check as there is someplace he has to be. Brady muses notes there is a lot of that going on and enters alone. - Marlena tells the trusting housekeeper she spilled her latte. The helpful housekeeper goes down the hall to clean it up. Marlena seizes her chance and enters Kristen’s room, gingerly closing the door. She is in! - Rafe clutches a bouquet of flowers and pauses at Sami’s Countess W office door. - Gabi cries she loves Nick but he reminds her she suckered him into believing her sob story, failing to tell him that she wanted Chad and got him with her deception. He knows why Melanie left! He knows Chad is the father of her baby! Gabi stares in disbelief. Before she has a chance to say more, Chad suddenly bangs on the door. Nick opens it despite her desperate protests. There stands raging Chad. - Brady checks his phone and comes across an odd text he never sent to Kristen. “Oh no!” - Marlena opens a shiny black cover on Kristen’s night table. It reveals a computer tablet. She sees a document on JB and manages to hack in by correctly guessing the password. She now has access to the entire write-up and sits on the bed to read. Kristen has been keeping a diary of sorts, which begins "I’m grateful Father convinced me to return despite all the destruction I left in my path.It seems that most are inclined to remember me as the person I once was ... " Marlena is unable to read much more when the door opens and Kristen leans back against it, a wicked glint in her eye. "Marlena!" She has been caught red-handed ... Oh oh! END |
