TICK TOCK!

- Jen comes face to face with Nicole in her living room and demands to know what in the world she is doing there! Nicole urges her not to be afraid.
- Dan is sitting with his pen on the couch, reading over the material from Jen about the clinical drug trial. His hand trembles. He flashes back to
Jen assuring him they were all on his side. He puts down the material to answer his door. Tis mama Maggie. She wonders if there is something to report. He admits he was just was studying something… The redhead
cuts to the chase. She would love to hear what happened with Jen!
- At the rectory, Hope gives Eric a stern stare and repeats that Nicole has not reformed. It is her gut instinct that Nicole vs. Jen is not over. She reminds him of his own sordid history with the woman. Eric explains he would not have this holy job if he did not believe people could learn from their mistakes and change … even Nicole!
- Jen walks to the door and realizes Nicole even locked it, which seems very sinister, so why would she not be afraid! Nicole insists she wants only to apologize. Jen has her doubts as she just broke in! Nicole realizes it may appear suspicious. Jen reminds her she swore she would never apologize. Nicole has changed her mind. She only let herself in and then locked the door, cos she feared she would chicken out after ringing the doorbell. She is here to face up and fess up. She cries it was so wrong
that she accused her of killing her child. She explains it was easier to hate her than feel helpless. She laments she never imagined she would be capable of such a lie and praises Jen for being kind and generous. Jen explains she was doing it for all their sake, to move on from the pain they have all suffered. Nicole insists Jen is the better person. She emotionally thanks her and is truly sorry. Jen believes she is sincere, but why now?
- Rafe is horrified that Gabi might have gone to the abortion clinic. He
tells Sami they have to stop her! Sami notes the address is in Chicago so she would not have gone that far. Perhaps she was seeking information before making a decision. She did the same as a pregnant and frightened youngster. Rafe realizes Sami wants him to calm down but he is nervous Gabi might already have decided! He fears she is somewhere all alone. Sami now suggests the website might have given a referral and offers to call and find out where in Salem they would recommend, just to be on
the safe side. Rafe just hopes they are not too late!
- At the clinic, Will impatiently waits and flashes back to Gabi informing him he was the father of her baby. He is jittery enough for the nurse at
the front desk to ask if he is alright. Matter of fact he is not! His friend is in one of the rooms out back and he must see her to stop the procedure. He just realized it would be a mistake! Inside, Gabi cries to the doctor
she has never been in this situation before. The doc understands, states it is all quite simple, and asks if she has questions before they start. Gabi gasps slightly. She asks how long it will take. Just 15 to 20 minutes. She sits up and they are ready to start but the doctor gets called away. Gabi finds herself alone now and stares with apprehension at the instruments nearby.
- Hope introduces Father Eric to his little cousin Ciara. He teases she was smaller in the photos. Ciara whispers to her mommy and asks if priests
are allowed to be handsome. Indeed. And Eric is looking forward to leading her First Communion class. Brady drawls from the doorway that she is in trouble. The two guys embrace each other with a grin.
- Will informs the nurse at the front desk that he just wants to make sure his friend is okay. He begs for at least a minute to see her. She is sorry
but he cannot go back. That is the policy. She assures him his friend is
free to stop the procedure at any time, though. It is her decision.
- Brady wonders if Eric’s priest thing is for real. Eric is sarcastic. Ciara gets it and plays along. Brady asks Hope how many years he could get
for impersonating a priest. Eric asks if the bandage on his neck is a prop. Brady explains he was attacked by someone. Kristen was the intended target and he intervened. Hope is curious. Brady suspects the report is already on her desk. She will see it soon and takes Ciara off for their lunch after encouraging Eric to give some consideration to what she said. Eric closes the door and wonders what Brady was doing with Kristen, who happens to be on the parish board. Brady agrees it is rather ironic. Eric had noticed there was something strange with John and Marlena whenever her name was mentioned. Brady shares his original suspicion that Kristen was plotting against John/Marlena, but then she brought him to the hospital after he was attacked. She could have left him there and she did not. Eric concludes he feels she has changed. She should be given the benefit of the doubt. Brady wonders who he really has on his mind. Another who is believed to be a lost cause. Brady deduces that would
be Nicole and drawls she has a good heart. He does not share Hope’s doubts. He does warn Eric that Nicole is her own worst enemy, though.
- Nicole asks Jen was her apology not enough? Jen explains she would
like to accept it graciously and with no reservations. Nicole thanks her for it means much. Before she leaves, Jen wonders what comes next for her. Nicole admits she originally reached out to her just to come between her and Dan. Now, however, she understands that one cannot get past loss and she is so sorry about Jack. She feels sad for all that Jen has gone though. It is the truth. Exit Nicole. Jen blinks.
- Dan updates mama Maggie on Jen’s suggestion of the clinical trial for
the new drug to stop his tremors. There was not any discussion of his declaration of love. Maggie is not so sure he should be considering this trial. He is admittedly conflicted for there are no guarantees in a trial. It could even make him worse and then … Maggie realizes that his hopes would be crushed. She becomes curt upon hearing Jen actually pressed him to decide in haste. She stands up after announcing she has errands. She hugs her son and walks out in a huff. Maggie is ready to explode!
- Sami has gotten the names of two clinics that were recommended in Salem - one on Oak Street, the other on Cloverfield. Rafe wants to start with the one on Oak Street as it is closer. He insists on making the call himself.
- Will argues with the nurse that Gabi had thought he would be with her and that is why he must go to her. She would not have come if she had realized she would be all alone in there! The nurse is all business.  She suggests he sit back down and then answers the phone. Tis Rafe, asking about Gabi being a patient. The nurse will only say they cannot give out that information. He urges her to tell him if she is alone. Or is someone with her? Again, she cannot say. Rafe angrily thanks her for NOTHING! Sami and Rafe now decide to go see for themselves. The clock is ticking! Rafe storms out of the pub and growls that he is getting out of here. Nick realizes something is very wrong but gets no answers from the pair. Sami  advises him to stay put.
- The doctor has returned. Gabi stares numbly into space. The doctor suggests she try and relax. She lies back with a sigh.
- On the town square sofa, Hope and Ciara enjoy their beverages. Ciara asks about praying in the daytime. She just said a prayer for papa Bo and grandma Caroline to come home soon. She also wants to say a prayer
that everyone can be as happy as she is now. Hope hugs her daughter. They are all smiles ...
- Eric explains to Brady he will not reveal what Nicole said to him as she confided in him as a priest. However, he can confirm she is dealing with guilt and remorse. That caused her to lose her sense of right and wrong, which is why she tried to ease the pain. He muses she will have to dig herself out of the ditch she dug. Perhaps there is actually a way … Brady remarks he seems to still be hung up on her. Eric assures him that his bishop gave him the green light to help women he had been involved
with. Brady makes mention of the fact that things did not end for Nicole and Eric they way Eric had hoped once upon a time ...
- Dan is at the apartment. Nicole pauses outside his door.
- Surprised Jen warmly greets Maggie at the hospital. Maggie pleasantly informs her she wanted to talk to her. Jen invites her to the cafeteria but the redhead needs this to be private. It concerns Daniel!
- Nick enters Gabi’s empty room and stares at the bed. He flashes back
to declaring his life would be different if he had met her sooner. He now sits down at her computer, which shows a screen saver, and wonders where his beloved is with a sigh …
- Will pleads with the nurse to at least check on Gabi and tell him how
she is doing. She quips she should be out shortly. Will is now devastated to hear the procedure is probably over and done as enough time has passed. Rafe and Sami race in. Rafe does the math when he spies Will and goes to the exam room door. It is locked. He orders the nurse to unlock this door ...!
