| Thursday, November 17, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! CLUES AND CURSES - Part 2 - Carrie admits to John and Marlena she attempted to make a plea bargain on John's behalf. She hinted that her client would be willing to plead to a lesser charge for a lesser sentence. The D.A. apparently seemed interested. Marlena is optimistic. John, however, is suspicious. He assumes he would want him behind bars fast, given that Johnny went missing because of him. Carrie explains there are benefits to avoiding a lengthy trial for the prosecution. Marlena is grateful. Perhaps the D.A. will show some compassion, given all the good John has done for the town. After all, he is only pleading guilty to protect his family. - Back at the station, Austin assures Bo and Hope that he intends to continue investigating. Hope thanks him profusely. Austin sighs someone went through great lengths to cover their tracks. Are they sure Alice was not being blackmailed? Bo and Hope were originally sure it was not the case, but Austin wonders if this new information puts the possibility of blackmail back on the table. Bo has to get back to work on the phone and tells his man he has a warrant for the security cameras south of the pier. He wants to move on those and tells his man not to worry, he will take care of the FBI, and then ends the call. Hope updates Austin on Stefano's paperweight to Alice. Bo elaborates on the ominous inscription and the mark of the phoenix. Hope believes blackmail is back on the table. Austin agrees, He gets a call and promises he will be right down. He will go through the financial records some more and have a chat with mama Kate, whom he suspects will know if there is a mysterious Alice-Stefano connection. He promises to be discreet. He will also say a prayer for Johnny. Exit Austin. Bo declares to Hope they will never give up. She agrees. - At the loft, Will explains to Rafe they do not blame him. Sami cries she does not want to blame Rafe. He emotionally states that he would do anything to get the boy back, as family means everything to him. If only he had known ...Sami goes back to screaming he should have known it was a bad idea to go there and now they might never see Johnny again! - At DiMera mansion. EJ accuses Stefano of acting as if his son is a replaceable object. Stefano snaps he loves that boy more than his life and that boy loves his nano! It is his worst nightmare that he could be in danger. He unhappily reminds EJ he has already lost a son. EJ realizes he is referring to Tony. At least Tony had a chance to lead his own life. Johnny's life was just beginning. EJ yearns to hold him in his arms one more time. Stefano hugs his head and understands. But he does not want him to lie down and surrender to bastards like John Black. EJ is flabbergasted. Stefano announces they will get John and whoever else is responsible. If anyone touches a hair on Johnny's head, they will regret the day they crossed the DiMera family! - Back at the loft, Gabi hugs Rafe. She and Will are going to meet up with Chad and Sonny to search together. Will promises to check in later, hugs Rafe, and departs. Sami sits alone, staring into space. Rafe closes the door and sits opposite her, at a loss. He suggests they talk. Sami stands up, sits down on the sofa, and turns on the TV in time to hear the temperature is dropping so it will be a cold day. No a good day to be outdoors ... - Austin shows up at the townhouse, seeking Carrie. It was awkward but the D.A. called when he was at the station. He gave him something in his office to pass on to her. Carrie is confused as she accepts the envelope. Marlena and John realize the D.A. has made his decision in John's plea bargain. Carrie reads it and is in tears. Marlena nervously asks what it says. John guesses the prosecution has rejected the plea offer. Instead, they will be seeking the maximum penalty. Marlena gasps it cannot be. Carrie cries she is sorry. John notes it is what it is and puts his strong arms around his weeping wife. - At the mansion, EJ explains to Stefano that when he wants to take his vengeance, he need only look in the mirror. He asks Stefano to go away. The phoenix shakes his head and exits. EJ woefully picks up Johnny's framed picture and stares at it. - Rafe sadly states to Sami he would change yesterday if he could. All he can do now is try and figure out a way for them to move forward. He is sorry and is at a loss, but they must try, as they are still a family. She bitterly asks how. Knock knock! Tis Bo and Hope. Bo urgently needs to talk to her. Sami is distraught. Hope wants to warn her about a TV station going live with a story. Bo must share something with her. A boy the same age as Johnny was found dead in Brookville. Sami cries no. Rafe holds her as she repeats no, it is not him. She screams at them all to stop looking at her like that ... Next on Days of Our Lives EJ and Sami stand watching together as the TV announcer states "I'm reporting to you with an update on the body of a young boy." RAFE Try and calm down SAMI WHAT IF IT IS HIM! At the dark DiMera mansion, Sami cries to EJ "Oh my God, I'm so stupid. You have him, don’t you? You have Johnny?" His eyes filled with tears, EJ shakes his head and bites his lip. |
