Rafe is helping in the capacity that Sami is his wife. Hope assures Sami they will find Johnny. She does not want to leave until she can put the hat on her son's head. Bo and Hope assure her that all calls to her will be traced. Bo and Hope will accompany her home, yet maintain contact with the station at all times. Will arrives and Sami hugs him and cries like a baby. - At DiMera mansion, EJ snaps at his man on the phone to find his boy. Nicole is at the computer and has set it up so the security staff will get immediate news updates. She assures EJ that Johnny is a survivor. He gasps he is a little boy. He cannot lose his son! Enter Quinn, there to make EJ an offer he can't refuse. Nicole wants him to scram, though Quinn points out he has turned over a new leaf. He still has friends in low places and they could get answers. Will he accept his offer or would he rather risk losing his kid ...? A frown creases EJ's brow. Nicole orders Quinn to go back to his karate spa. EJ stops him and accepts his offer. He silences Nicole. Exit Quinn. EJ points out to Nicole he appreciates her concern. She fears he is not thinking straight and wants to tell Quinn he changed his mind. EJ quietly states he knows what he is doing when it comes to Quinn. Nicole, not understanding, continues to insist he does not. - Jack shows up at the house to help Jen with the press end of things. Jen explains all is well with her and Abigail. Jack excitedly gushes about them now being back together. Jen suggests they have a seat and talk. She wonders how he is, after that episode in the cabin. He insists her caring has cured him. He knows she felt they were just like the old days in that cabin. Jen frowns. He hopes she felt it too. He adds he relived the bad stuff, though he did not make it up. Jen explains she believes him, yet he has misunderstood. She felt badly for him. Jack interrupts it was her love that brought him back. Jen concedes she still in a sense loves him, but the night in the cabin has not shut off her feelings for Daniel. Jack gasps she said she always loved HIM. He heard her say it when he was asleep. Jen's eyes widen. She becomes incensed that he must have pretended to be asleep and wonders if he has been playing games. She angrily accuses him of not changing and snaps she was wrong. She also knows it was him at Halloween but he denies the charge. - At the townhouse, Roman updates John and Marlena. She wants to go be with Sami, though Roman thinks that could just make the situation worse. John is still under house arrest. Marlena enlightens Roman on John's decision to plead guilty despite his innocence. John drawls it is the only way to keep the family safe. His decision is final! Marlena feels it is urgent to see Sami now, as this could be his last chance to make amends with her. Sami needs them both. Roman agrees to see what he can do and departs. John holds Marlena close. - At the loft, Rafe is unable to make Sami feel better. Hope and Bo are checking the landlines. Hope knows Johnny will soon walk through that door. Sami sits beside Will and stops him from moving a picture. She wants to keep everything the way it was before. Rafe opens the door to Gabi, who exclaims she is sorry. Rafe whispers they think the lad was kidnapped. Gabi walks in and says she is sorry. She can make tea. Rafe wants Sami to eat something but she is not hungry. She wants him to go find her son and bring him home. That is all she wants! Hope later goes over what Sami wants her to remind Caroline about the kids. She urges her to let Rafe make her some food. Gabi sees on her computer that there are hundreds of volunteers helping. Rafe offers Sami a sandwich. Will follows him to the kitchen. He is glad he is there for his mom. Rafe laments she is not happy with him but Will points out she is really upset about Johnny. Rafe prepares a sandwich and sighs he is not succeeding in learning about any leads, given that he has been reduced to a civilian. Will thinks Johnny is lucky that he gets to grow up with Rafe for his dad. He is the best father a kid could ask for. Rafe appreciates it. Will calls him Johnny's dad in every way that counts. Rafe gets choked up. - Rafe hopes Sami will try her sandwich. Will accepts it but she is not interested. Her son suggests she sleep. She cannot. Rafe sits with Bo at the computer and quietly comments if the boy seen near the woods was Johnny, the dogs might not have picked up his scent if he had gone into that stream. Bo thanks him and will call search and rescue. Rafe laments to sister Gabi that he is not able to help enough as a civilian. - Roman returns to the townhouse. The feds have evidently agreed to a brief meeting between John, Marlena, and Sami. Roman understands that John feels guilty, but he should not plead guilty to a crime he did not commit. John calls it complicated. He does not want others dragged into this mess. - At the mansion, EJ refuses to listen to Nicole's disagreement regarding Quinn. He picks up the phone.
