| Thursday, November 10, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! BEWITCHED - Part 2 - Nicole starts to scream at EJ for trying to draw her in again. The sex was always good, though the rest leaves to be desired and they both know it! She wants the kind of love that Tom and Alice Horton shared. EJ sadly states they both yearn for the same thing. Johnny and Sydney mean so much to him, which is why he is running for mayor. He is determined to make them proud. He knows she loves them too. She does indeed. He wonders why they do not just pull this together and be a family. Nicole laments their marriage did not work before as it was built on lies and blackmail. EJ implores her to give him another chance and says he is sorry when she refers to how she has been burned. She woefully replies she too is sorry and watches as he angrily scribbles his signature on the divorce petition. The tears run down her cheeks. EJ finishes, snaps he hopes she is happy, and walks out. Nicole gasps and cries. - Carrie and Austin are nekid under the sheets and he remarks she is preoccupied. She wonders about the timing of relationships and how people end up with their soul mates, like Bo and Hope. Then there is Sami and Rafe. She does not get it. Austin wants to know what she means. Carrie refers to their fighting. Austin points out they are only stressed, yet on solid ground. Carrie appears doubtful. Rafe is a straight shooter , whereas sister Sami ... Austin teases her for her finely tuned legal mind. He only cares about them. How does she think they fit? "Perfectly," whispers Carrie and they kiss. - Back at the townhouse, Brady makes the introductions. John has been reading journals that sing Madison's praises. Marlena suggests they all dine together tonight. Madison and Brady are all for it. Marlena takes Madison to the town square to pick up some food, leaving Brady alone to bond with his da. Brady was admittedly dragged over, but John is elated he is there as that is all that matters. They enjoy a beer. Brady assures him he has been thinking of him. John has noticed that Titan went easy on him in the media. He realizes he was too judgmental when he used to call him from Switzerland. Brady is touched when he goes on to say how proud he is of him. He suggests they start over. They toast to it. John grins. He now talks Madison. Brady informs him of Sami's dire warning but John chuckles he should ignore her and go with it. Brady points out Madison wants to keep things professional. John, however, has seen their picture in a tabloid and they looked cozy. Brady complains she is giving him mixed signals. John suggests maybe he is having trouble reading them. Brady considers. - Back at the pub, Rafe has another surprise for Johnny. They will be going to the opening Cubs game next season. Johnny cheers loudly. Sami meanwhile plays tea with the girls. Austin and Carrie enter. Austin explains they wanted to be with family. Rafe greets them warmly. Carrie puts on Johnny's new cap. He giggles, takes it off her, and toddles back to Sami, who is at a table with Austin and the other kids. Rafe quickly approaches Carrie's table and they quietly discuss John's case. She is meeting with the witness tonight. Rafe has already met him and thinks he will be fine. He also senses there is still something more out there to help the defense so he intends to keep digging ... - At the town square, Marlena notes Madison and Brady seem rather close. Madison claims they are just close in business. Marlena has seen something special between them. Madison praises Brady and explains she thinks he is a great guy. He can even laugh at himself. She walks off to check on their food order at the square café. - After dinner, Marlena invites Madison and Brady to stay and watch Ghostbusters. They confess they have work to do. She invites them to join them at the pub in the morning. John does not think Brady should reschedule his morning meeting, though, as he has already come and he appreciates it. Brady is glad he came. - Dejected EJ walks past the pub and stares wistfully thru the window as Sami, Rafe, Austin, Carrie and the kids take happy family photos together. - Meanwhile, Nicole touches his signature on the divorce petition, her eyes filled with sorrow. - Brady and Madison have only positive well wishes for John before they depart. Brady thanks Marlena for looking after him and they exit. Marlena now smiles it is movie time. She turns on the television, only to see a newswoman announce that according to the latest poll, most people believe John Black is guilty and deserves the maximum penalty - life in prison! Marlena numbly drops the remote. John holds her tight ... Next on Days of Our Lives "You're not going anywhere," John informs Marlena as Roman stands by. "There's too much hate out there. I'm going alone and that's it!" The Salem Spectator headline reads "Jury Selection Begins Today in John Black Trial." A closeup of Johnny's anxious little face is shown. "It's meant everything to me to have you here with the kids this morning," John emotionally tells Sami. She does not appear to be comfortable. As John plays in the pub with Johnny, a masked sniper in black expertly fires a shot through the window! |
