He had assumed he too would show himself out. EJ wants a word. Stefano reminds him he already accused him. EJ bitterly notes there is no more loyalty between them. Stefano insists he did not want it that way. EJ stands up and points out he taught him everything he knew, only to coldly cast him aside. Then again, to be loved by him is quite the death sentence. He lists Benji,Tony, Marlena, and Alexandra. Perhaps he ought to consider himself lucky to have gotten out when he did! EJ starts to walk out. Stefano does not stop him and sits at his chess set. EJ turns around and wants to tell him of something he found out. - Sami hesitates outside the pub. Lucas insists she belongs there and so they enter. Hostess Kayla informs everyone that there are cards and telegrams to go with the photos on the bar, in case anyone wants to look at them. Some people still do not know, like her mother and Ciara. She gets choked up. Shane offers to do this for "sweetheart." She assures him she can continue and tells everyone how lucky they were to know and love the Salem six. The Irish way is to share the memories and pay tribute to the loved ones, so that the sorrow does not erase the joy and the good times. She always remembers the laughter, which is the sound of love. The photos of the Salem six are shown as everyone watches and listens. Gabi stands up and reminisces about Rafe acting like she was all that mattered. She cries it never changed. She wishes she had told him when he picked her up from soccer, it was the best part of her day too. She breaks down and Mel appears to motions for Chad to go to her. He does and consoles her with a hug. Now Sami stands to praise Rafe as a protector. And that is how he died. She feels blessed that she and her children could spend time with him. "He was a good man and I really loved him." She embraces Gabi. Victor stands and speaks of Ciara being at the house. He and son Bo never spent that kind of time together when he was growing up. He knows it was a selfish way to think. He asks Kayla and Roman to tell their mother that he loves his son. He praises Bo for his strength, courage, and gentleness. He loved his righteous anger and his warm heart. The Greek tycoon woefully admits he loved the things he learned growing up in this family.Caroline did one hell of a job! Maggie goes to him and they return to their table together. Girlish Jennifer reminisces about Hope's passion and excited gestures. She was so strong, so courageous. "She made the impossible seem possible." Jen cries she was her very best friend and made her feel she could do anything. She breaks down, unable to bring herself to say goodbye, Abigail runs up to her crying mother and consoles her with a hug. Austin stands and speaks of marrying young. People may change, but something different happened with himself and Carrie. He cries they did change but he kept falling in love with her. They grew closer and stuck things out. However, now what hurts is that they were sure they were on the right track. His voice shaking with emotion, he adds they were also considering having a family. He turns to look at her picture and sighs he loves her and always will. Will proceeds to tell stories about Marlena, his popular and hip grandmother. He will miss her for the rest of his life. Brady stands by John's photograph and calls him a great role model, one who lived to a high standard. He wishes he were more like him. He declares he intends to live his life in a way that would make him proud. "I'll miss you, dad." Sami stands up and admits things were known to be tough between her and her mom. She wistfully adds she made it hard for her mom to love her and yet she did. Her arms were always open. She cries she would give anything for another chance to have her arms around her and sits back down, covering her face with her hands. - EJ walks outside with Stefano and comes to a stop in front of the pub. The phoenix sighs what are they doing here? He was surely not invited. EJ solemnly states there is a wake inside. He wants him to see what he has done, the pain and suffering he has caused. Stefano wonders when he became so damned sanctimonious. He turns and walks away. - Inside, the service has ended. Will cannot believe they are all gone. Maggie assures him that the Salem six will still be here, watching over them from heaven. Will musters a smile and they walk off arm in arm. A close up of the photos is shown.
