| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Monday, May 7, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! DEAD OR ALIVE - Part 2 - A familiar voice is heard offering to help bring down Stefano. Much to Roman and Shane's amazement, Bo, Hope, John, Marlena, Rafe and Carrie emerge. There are hugs all around as a happy reunion ensues with the very much alive safe house people! - Lexie sits back down and asks everyone to let her life go on. She wants things to be normal. Abe teases her about refolding the laundry. Lexie wants to be upbeat and enjoy the time she has left. Celeste promises to make sure of that. Lexie now asks a favor. She wishes them all not to let Theo know she is dying. There is no need for him to know just yet. She wants to share the happy times with him. Celeste assures her she is there for her. Lexie smiles there is one more thing. She shows them her bucket list of what she wants to do before her time is up. Bungee jumping is on the list. Cameron is surprised and even more surprised to hear she used to be a police officer. Lexie promises her new brother they will learn all about each other in the coming weeks. - Lucas wonders what Will really wants to tell him. Will repeats he is ruining his life with his mom again. Lucas thinks they should go see her and discuss this like adults. Will refuses. Lucas reasons his brothers and sister also enter into the equation. Will reluctantly agrees to go. Lucas insists they will talk after. - A flashback is shown of the safe house gang finding a trap door under the rug. That trap door led to a fortified basement. No one even has a scratch. Shane explains they will all be checked out by the medical personnel who are en route but John has his own ideas about what should come next. "No one can know that we're alive!" - At the explosion site, Roman and Shane both pretend to the Salem fire department that no one came out of the house. The gang have concealed themselves nearby. Mayor EJ shows up, having received the news of an explosion. Roman blasts Stefano and holds him responsible. EJ is shaken but thinks he should not be so quick to point the finger. Shane quietly suggests to Roman they notify the families before they see the breaking news elsewhere. Meanwhile, the fire department continues to search for survivors. - Sami happily welcomes Lucas and Will to her home. Will makes a snide remark. Lucas suggests he cool it and informs Sami he told him they are giving it another whirl. He wants them all to sit down and try for peace. Sami wonders where to start. Will wants her to apologize to him for lying to him, being selfish, and putting herself before her kids. Sami whispers she is sorry for being selfish and hurting him and messing up the family. If he gives her a chance, she just knows they can move on and be happy again. Worried Will wonders how long it is going to take her to break his father's heart again. He does not believe she is even capable of changing despite her best efforts. Ring ring! Sami now gets a call from Shane, who summons her, Lucas, and Will to the pub and it does not sound good ... - Billie updates Austin that Ian appointed their mother Co-CEO of Mad World. They laugh there must be more to it. Austin wonders if they are an item. Billie notes he would be a step up from Stefano. Austin recalls she was the one who built that company so how does she feel about losing it? Billie admits she does not like a DiMera having it, but she is fine with being fired. In fact, she has been keeping rather busy ... Ring ring! Austin now gets a call from Shane, who solemnly summons him to the pub. - The fire chief soon informs Roman they combed through the ashes but alas found nothing. EJ is sorry. Roman snaps at him to shut up and insists Stefano was to blame. - Meanwhile, ISA Shane meets with Kayla, Sami, Lucas, Will, Billie and Austin at the closed pub. Not everyone has arrived but Sami insists he tell them what is going on. Shane updates them on Stefano's attack on Marlena, and alludes to John and Hope's dangers in Alamania. They decided it would be safer if they went into hiding. A few hours ago Rafe and Carrie helped escort them to a safe house. Unbeknownst to the ISA, the security system was rigged with explosives. They did what they could, yet it was not enough. "The bomb went off with everyone inside." The desperate loved ones demand answers. Shane explains there is a team in place searching. Sami cries they must all still be there.The others try to convince themselves they will find their loved ones. Kayla clutches Shane in tears. Billie assures Austin they will find Carrie. - When the last fire truck has left, Roman announces to everyone that it is safe to come out. They reappear. Roman wonders whether they are sure they want to go through with this. Hope admits it is tough deceiving the family but John drawls DiMera handed them a golden ticket. And so they will stay dead! Marlena laments this will simply kill their families. John explains this is their best shot. Roman gets off the phone with the ISA , who is sending a van. If they want to do this, they must go now. Roman sighs now he has to deliver the bad news ... - At the coffee house, EJ sits alone, hanging his head. His assistant finds him and explains that the press wants a statement about the bombing. EJ instructs him to set up a press conference and fill him in on the details. He has something he must take care of ... - Roman enters the pub. They all wait with bated breath. He is sorry to confirm "They're gone. They didn't make it." Sami cries loudly. Sobbing Kayla throws herself into Shane's arms. Lucas and the others can only stare in stunned silence, believing their loved ones to be gone for good ... END |
