KABOOM! - At the safe house from hell, replay of happiness turning to horror as the timer counts down ... 59 ...They are going to blow! Hope covers her mouth with a hand. John informs Shane and nervous Roman of their dire situation. The two men can only watch helplessly from outside. Shane asks what happened. Hope explains it started beeping after the wire was cut and the timer came on. Shane sighs there is a failsafe. The bomb was wired to go off no matter what line was cut. They now have just forty minutes remaining! Carrie is a wreck. Rafe puts his arm around her and holds her close. He soon takes the radio and begs Shane for a plan B. Carrie is crying and hanging onto Marlena now. Bo hopes Shane is not simply guessing for no suggestions are working. Shane promises he is doing everything he can from the outside. Carrie is desperate. Rafe drawls they need time. Carrie cries they will not make it out alive. He promises they will and holds her, soothing her as she whimpers. - At the town square, Ian has put Kate's fears to rest about Brady's immature comments. A strange guy watches as Ian assures her she is no fool and touches her face. He wishes to put Brady Black behind them. So would she. He would rather plan a trip to St. Tropez with her. Ring ring! Tis the guy who was watching them, now at a distance. He quietly wonders if this is a bad time. Ian casually asks if he has contacted his team and adds he wants to be kept in the loop. When the call is over, Kate is curious. Ian claims it was the head of IT. Titan has been hacked into, and the target was Mad World! Kate thinks she should update Madison. Ian would rather not, assuming she is in bed with Brady but Kate could not care less! - Brady gets shirtless. Madison hopes she was not overreacting about Ian. Brady keeps kissing her cos she is all he wants! They are soon on the bed when her phone rings. Tis Kate. "I need you to meet me at Titan right away." The company is under attack! Brady watches glumly from the bed. Mad gets off the phone and snaps something has happened to the Mad World server. Brady thinks this is not cool. She gives him a kiss to remember. Meanwhile, Ian thanks Kate for handling it and hopes she will keep him informed. Exit Kate. A moment passes. Ian and his strange flunky approach each other. Ian wants to know whether he brought what he requested. The flunky hands him a packet, warning it is potent. Ian accepts it with a smirk, concealing it in his jacket. He is counting on it! Moments later, Brady's phone rings and he answers it with a grimace. "What do you want!" - Sami leaves a message for Lucas, hoping he will call her back so they can discuss what happened. She stammers of course he knows what happened but they should be grownups about it and talk. Knock knock! Tis EJ wearing a long face. He asks about the kids, for he wishes to see them. Sami wonders what is the matter. Nothing and he will not stay long. He just wants to see and hold his kids, tell them he loves them. It is important for children to hear such things, no? Sami sits beside him and admits he is freaking her out. He reminds her he lives across the hall and would appreciate her letting the kids visit him sometimes. Sami states she knows him and he is upset. She assumes it is about Lexie being sick. EJ stands. So does she. He does not tell her it is something else that torments him. Sami encourages him to be strong for his family. He gets teary-eyed. Perhaps he is not in the best state to see the children. Sami suggests he stay and see them. He should surround himself with people who love him unconditionally, like the children. He should be with them. She urges him to stay. He quietly nods. - Ian is now sitting at a pub table. Brady saunters in like a cowboy. He wonders why he reached out to him. Ian claims he wanted to reassure him about Madison. Brady already knows he said he would not contest the divorce. He gets sarcastic and drawls he wants the games to end. He stares Ian down and warns him he will not be easily fooled. Matter of fact, he does not believe him! - Kate and Madison are at the office, trying to tackle the problem. They deduce the culprit could have been Sami or a competitor. They have a high profile. Madison insists it is Sami but Kate points out she would not be capable. Madison convinces her that Sami had the means and the motive with Stefano's money and power behind her. Kate agrees and calls her a little b*tch. - Rafe gasps he would do anything to get Carrie out of this mess. "I love you." She thinks he does not really mean it. He disagrees. "I'm in love with you." She reminds him she was ready to be with him and would have left Austin. But he slept with Nicole and got her pregnant. Rafe blurts out he never slept with Nicole. "It's not my baby. It's EJ's ...!"
