Nicole is carrying EJ's baby, not his! She slowly smiles through her tears. Why did he lie? Because he loathes EJ and Nicole was afraid he would take the baby away from her. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. He wanted to tell her, but then assumed she had dceided to work things out with Austin when he overheard her conversation with him. He believed it. Carrie admits she could not stop wanting him. And they could have been together this whole time! But now ... Bo suddenly asks Rafe for his assistance. Shane has one more idea. They must jam the timer via a wire to an electrical outlet in one last attempt to stop the timer. One two three ... The timer is stopped. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief. Then it starts up again! John exclaims to give them something else. Shane woefully states there are no options left. John, Marlena, Bo, Hope, Rafe, and Carrie's eyes are now filled with the realization that they are about to die! - At Sami's place, EJ warmly watches a movie, cuddling with Johnny and Sydney. He smiles gratefully at Sami. - Kate and Madison discuss what to do about Sami. Kate leers she built up Countess W so she knows the vulnerabilities and will also be able to tear it right down! Madison is impressed. - Ian calmly informs Brady that he will not wreck his relationship with Madison. He too is in love and has a chance to share his life with the wonderful Kate, who returns his love. Why would he want to hang onto Madison when she does not care about him? Brady remains doubtful. He excuses himself to get some fresh air and walks outside. Ian reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out the packet, his demeanor sinister. Brady calls Madison. He tells her of his meeting with Ian. He knows she yearns to believe him. However, there is something about him he does not trust. Inside, Ian sneakily pours the potent drugs into Brady's now unattended drink. Brady promises Madison he will see her soon. They exchange I love yous and he returns to the pub. - Madison sits beside Kate and is impressed with her long list concerning the Sami situation. Kate updates her on Lucas and Sami now being an item too. And he will be working with her at Countess W. Madison warns her son could become a casualty of this war against Sami. Kate snaps he has no one to blame but himself for crawling into bed with the cow! Madison cackles and she thought she was her worst enemy. Sami will not know what hit her! - Ian proposes a toast to better choices. Brady agrees. He drinks up and slams his glass on the table, then departs. "Purrfect," murmurs Ian. - Roman yells at Shane for not giving his trapped loved ones any more hope. Shane explains they all deserve a chance to say goodbye to each other. In 15 minutes that bomb is going off and there is nothing they can do to stop it. - Inside Hope cries to Bo about being separated from Ciara. John is sorry he could not protect Marlena better. She bravely assures him being with him is where she is meant to be. Hope laments she and Bo have not seen Shawn and Claire for a long time. Bo consoles her. She cries she will not see their girl grow up. He insists Ciara has many who love her and will be fine. He loves Hope and just wishes there was a way to get her out of here. She gasps she would never leave his side. They love each other and embrace. Rafe and Carrie emotionally whisper they love each other and kiss passionately in what they believe to be their final moments. He turns and announces they still have 10 minutes to build a blast wall. The others point out the whole place will blow sky high. Carrie urges them to try. Roman tries to make her feel better over the radio as the gang set about building the blast wall. She and Rafe start to roll up a rug to add. He promises they will get out. Only five minutes remain ... - Back at Sami's, EJ jokes about the chocolate ice cream not helping the kids sleep. Sami confesses she is hoping they will turn out more like Bradys than DiMeras. EJ grins there is no need to concern herself with that. He is sure they will turn out just fine. He decides to depart. Sami notes he should not be alone, but he feels he should not overstay his welcome. She offers him some good scotch. He happily accepts. - Brady is feeling hot and tense as he paces Madison's room. She returns and rages she could just kill Sami for stabbing her in the back! She had their servers hacked into. She is as ruthless as ever. No wonder Rafe left her. Brady gets a strange look in his eye and tells her to shut her mouth about his family! Madison is flabbergasted by his aggressive outburst. - Ian soon joins Kate at the office, pretending to be pleased she and Madison are working together. He gets a very strange look in his eye when she announces they both know who the enemy is ... - Brady apologizes to Madison. She understands. He is sweating and hopes she will forgive him. She smiles she will and they hug. Brady, however, remains tense and high from the drugs Ian slipped into his drink. - Back at Sami's, she realizes EJ has that odd look on his face again. She thinks he will eventually have to tell the kids about Lexie. He sighs. Sami is worried about him and adds it must be hard but he should remember something. "You're not alone ..." - John wants Marlena behind the blast wall but she vows to stand by her man! Bo tells Hope he loves her. She loves him more and they hug. Carrie and Rafe are almost finished with the rug on the floor. Shane urges Roman to get back from the door and take cover. The timer has reached the last second. John calls out "Everybody down. This is it ..." KABOOM! END |
