ONE DARK AND STORMY NIGHT - Part 2 - Abigail finds it peculiar that Gabi is living in Chad's apartment and refuses to involve the police. Chad disputes her theory that the girl invented her stalker. She knows he loves Mel. He steps away to get more coffee. Mel is not sure what to think of Abigail's theory. - Gabi is back in the alley in her yellow raincoat, when she meets the young man who had been watching herself and Will. She is acquainted with Andrew, who assumes she is doing this for extra publicity. She hands him an envelope full of cash and he grins it is showtime! - Dan understands why Nicole is feeling desperate, but now is not the time to leave. She gets upset about being all alone in a hotel room with those sleepless nights, wondering how she can battle EJ. Dan places his reassuring hands on her shoulders and confides that he has been there. The only way to lose one's demons is to face them head on. She cries it is different for him, as he has the support of his mother and daughter. She has no one. "You have me," Dan murmurs. They are standing close now. Their eyes lock and he promises her she is not the only person in the world who feels that way. He knows what it is like. He suddenly closes the distance between them and kisses her on the lips. She kisses him back and then wonders what that was. He is sorry. She comes back and they kiss passionately. They fall onto the desk and continue kissing and gasping until ... Ring ring! Tis the lab, requesting the DNA samples. Dan gets off the phone and apologizes. He gives her his word no matter what happens with EJ, she does not have to be alone. Flustered Nicole nods and watches him leave with the test samples. - Marlena insists Will come under her umbrella. She pleasantly ushers him into the pub and orders him a coffee. He is soaking wet, like when he was a child, she teases. Will is strangely quiet. She brings up talking to Sami. Will changes the subject and vaguely states he has something to do. She assumes it is for EJ. The lad grumbles that EJ has fired him. Why? Because of Stefano! He updates her on Stefano threatening him into making sure Rafe found out about Sami cheating. She demands the details and stops him from leaving. Will confesses he was so afraid. Marlena wishes he had come to her. What does he have on him? Will thinks that no longer matters. "What matters is that he is not going to get away with it." He stands up and takes off. Marlena calls after him but this time he does not stop. - Stefano laments he has had no peace since Lexie became ill. EJ growls she is leaving behind her son and husband. He hopes he will burn in hell for eternity for what he has done to her. Downtrodden Stefano drinks and stares numbly, not even seeming to notice the chess set before him. EJ rages on. The phoenix concedes that Alexandra is indeed better than both of them. EJ points out even in these, her final days, she is thinking of others and wants them to make peace. Stefano suggests they honor her wish. Therefore, he should go before they say something they both regret. EJ coldly retorts he is not leaving until he has done what he came here to do! - Exasperated Roman advises Bo not to take matter into his own hands. John points out Stefano does. Roman snaps it will backfire and he has a job to do. If any of them go outside the law, he will go after them. Hope wonders why he is telling them this. Because he senses they are willing to kill Stefano with their own hands! John decides he will head home and watch the ball game. Bo will do the same after he stops by his mom to say hello. Hope airily claims she has errands to run. They go their separate ways. - Back at the coffee house, Chad gets a frantic call from Gabi, who lies she is being followed on her way to the now empty town square. The girl screams and the phone goes dead. Chad, Abigail, and Mel are on their way! Hooded Andrew pretends to struggle with her until Chad arrives. He takes off. Gabi just wants Chad to stay with her. She hangs onto him as Mel and Abigail watch. - EJ calmly places his black gloves back on. Stefano informs him that Alexandra forgave him as he gazes at her picture. EJ snaps that HE will not forgive him. - John Black is on the move and he has a gun in his pocket! - Wet Will enters the coffee house, where he bumps into exiting Lucas and drops his bag. Lucas has a look inside and immediately conceals it. "What the hell are you doing with that!" Will motions for him not to say a word ... - Marlena has returned to the station, but alas the three have already gone, Roman now has a word of warning not to try and take matters into her own hands. Her family needs her. She sighs especially Will, but does not elaborate. Roman's eyes narrow. The busy commissioner must now leave his office. Marlena smiles she will let herself out. Once he is gone, she pauses to check the gun in her handbag ... - Outside in the dark rain, Bo grabs Hope in a kiss and drawls that she means everything to him. She says the same of him. Bo saunters into the pub and casually sits down, then checks the gun in his ankle holster and unzips his jacket. Hooded Hope has gone in another direction for some unspecified errands ... - Stefano is still drinking. EJ shouts that no one will forgive him. Stefano muses Alexandra's forgiveness was all he needed. EJ stands up and rages he took away the woman he loved, which pales in comparison to this thing he has done to Lexie. He ominously states he will not let him do to the other family members what he did to himself and Lexie. Stefano sarcastically wonders how he intends to do to protect these people he is not even related to. EJ calls that an excellent question. He could only come up with one solution. He slowly pulls out a gun with his gloved hand. He now has the phoenix's full attention ...! END |
