EJ patiently explains they tried. Lexie cries her time has come. Chad starts to gasp and cry. EJ pats him on the shoulder. Chad jumps up and grabs Lexie in a bear hug. They weep together. EJ sits alone, still remembering that he is not blood. Chad asks about Theo. Lexie is reduced to tears again. Theo will be needing his family. All of them. EJ blinks. Chad says of course. Lexie asks them to spend more time with him. They both agree. She asks EJ to also look after father, who is not young anymore and is not used to things he cannot control. Now that he no longer has Kate, he will be needing his two sons more than ever. Chad is ready. EJ sadly looks down. Lexie reminds Chad he is a part of their family. They need him and Theo does. Chad wonders what he should do. Lexie points out he knows what it is like to lose one's mother too soon. When the time comes, he will know what to do for Theo. EJ agrees with Alexandra. It is time Chad accept his family and come home. Lexie hopes Chad will be able to start taking Theo to his therapy. He promises he will and emotionally tells her that she was the one reason he wanted to be a part of the family. He cries he always wanted a sister. She cries they are not out of time yet. Chad emotionally announces it is time for him to come home. He faces EJ and wonders if there is still a place for him. EJ drawls his timing will be perfect and gives him a welcome home embrace. Lexie is touched. - At the safe house, Roman gets on the phone and wants Agent Harmon tracked down. Meanwhile, Shane requests Bo and John describe every wire down to the last detail. John suggests they get pictures. Rafe places his arm around Carrie. Shane soon studies the digital photos. He praises Hope for her excellent photos of the wires. However, not everything is known about what else they could be dealing with. Rafe now suggests they build a blast wall for the women to hide behind, in the worst case scenario. The women refuse to hide. Shane soon gets back on the radio. "Alright lads, here comes the fun part ...!" - Madison returns to her hotel room. Brady awaits and wonders how it went with Ian. She is sorry she did not tell him about going to see him. Brady wonders if he should get involved. However, she feels it would be best if he did not go anywhere near him. Ian claimed his lawyers were not avoiding Justin's calls and he wants a divorce too, for he is moving on. Brady has seen Kate and sarcastically calls them a wonderful couple. He hopes it does not bother Madison. She smiles she only wants a future with him ... - Back at the town square, Ian speaks to his mysterious contact on the phone about Madison actually believing him and orders them to get him what he asked for. He leers that very soon Madison will want nothing to do with Brady Black! When he ends the call, Kate gingerly approaches, feeling rather insecure. She is having a bad day and Brady made her wonder if he really wants to give up Madison. Ian agrees he is a jerk. Kate woefully explains she no longer wants to pay games. He promises they are not a game and kisses her. "I love you. I want you." He coos he intends to spend the rest of his life making her happy. Kate hopefully holds him, painfully aware that happiness is but a relative thing. - ISA Agent Shane instructs Bo which wires to clip. There are a few tense moments and then they are down to two ... He tells him to cut the red one next. It is the big one. The atmosphere is tense. All in the safe house wait with bated breath. Bo expertly cuts the wire. Hope talks into the radio and informs Shane it has been done. Shane grins. "Ladies and gentlemen, I think congratulations are in order." Inside, the couples all hug each other in relief. - EJ forces a smile and suggests Chad use Lexie as a role model. Chad mentions the old man. EJ advises him not to call Stefano that. But all Stefano really cares is that he has DiMera blood running through his veins. Chad intends to let him know he is over himself. This family is his family. - Brady and Madison discuss Ian. Madison now believes Ian considers Kate the love of his life. But she would rather celebrate their love. Brady is all for it and they start to kiss. - Outside the safe house, Roman and Shane embrace and pat each other on the back. Inside, the gang are ready to leave, but the volatile timer is suddenly activated! They stop and stare in horror. The clock is ticking. THE BIG BANG COMETH! END |
