She cannot imagine how she will ever be able to thank him. Adrienne is proud of her son. Gabi calls him a good part of Arianna’s life. Maxine now returns with the news that baby Ari is visiting with papa Will. Gabi gushes she would have loved to see his face when he first saw her! Out at the town gate, Nick cries as he informs curious Maggie what happened, how Will saved his life from the evil Jensen. The redhead does not understand why Jensen, the former fellow inmate, came looking for him. Nick shivers and cries things were going great in his new life. So he thought. He was married and had a job. He pretended it never happened, in order to survive. He assumed he would be alright. Maggie asks what the man did to him in prison. Nick covers his face and sobs. Maggie cries too. He sobs it happened over and over again. She grabs him and holds him. She is so sorry! She promises he will be able to get through this. Nick laments he knew Jensen wanted to kill them. The whole life he thought he made for himself was nothing but a cobweb. The redhead asks if he has told Gabi. Nick now calls himself a sick freak filled with hate who was unfair to Will and Sonny. Maggie insists he talk to Gabi, for he shall overcome what happened with her at his side. Gabi loves him and deserves the truth. Hope sits back down at her desk and sighs she will have to talk to Ciara but first she must pick up Sy. Otherwise, there is not much of a case. She is a tad jumpy. Marlena heard about the recent shooting and is clearly concerned for her friend, how she is coping. Hope quips she is fine as she had no choice but to shoot the man who wanted to kill Nick. She gets busy making inquires to try and locate Sy. She assumes Marlena must be happy. The blonde admits it all came at a price. Hope wonders about John. Kristen loves Brady but he grumbles she said she had the epiphany tonight, which meant all this time she was playing him. She cries no one thought she was capable of love but she can do it, and she does love him! She has loved him for a long time. He quietly questions that. She argues she was busy plotting her revenge on John and Marlena and therefore did not realize how long she loved him. Then when he suggested adoption, she melted. Now she understands how much she loves him. Brady calls her sick, the tears running down his cheeks. She does not even know what love is! Maybe he is no better as she fooled him. Until now! The buck stops here! Kristen begs him to stay with her and tries to stop him from leaving, even when he snaps he feels nothing but disgust for her. She falls down and clings to his leg, begging him not to leave her. Sonny has just finished telling Will the story of Arianna’s dramatic delivery. He praises Gabi. Sami notes Gabi has high praise for him too. Will is overwhelmed. Meanwhile, Nick has returned to Gabi’s room with a long face. Maxine asks him to let the nurses know the next time he takes the baby out of the room. Nick numbly agrees. Gabi gushes it is all amazing. Their future is bright. Nick gasps to just stop. Gabi tells Nick he is making her scared. He sits at her bedside and solemnly states he has to tell her something he is ashamed of. He breaks down and warns she is going to learn the whole truth about him ... Brady breaks free of desperate begging Kristen, who wails she cannot lose him. They have their love and will marry and adopt a baby. She wants a happily ever after. Brady rages she and she alone killed their love. He storms off, leaving her in a heap, much the same way his father did on their wedding day. History has repeated itself. Kristen bangs her hands on the floor and screams nooooooo! Too late. Will cuddles his daughter and whispers she is a lucky little lady to have Sonny looking out for her. He loves her and he loves Sonny. Sonny loves him too and they kiss. This is their happily ever after. Sami and Adrienne watch with tears in their eyes. Shell shocked Brady walks alone past the flowers at the town gate and stares into space. John comes up behind him. Father and son soap stare. Kristen screams and cries it is not fair, still collapsed in a sorry heap on her almost wedding floor. Someone arrives. She looks up with her cat eyes, only to perceive Marlena staring down at her ... SHOWDOWN! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Brady is faced with a difficult decision. Nick tells Gabi the whole story. |
