| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Monday, May 28, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! FURIOUS FALLOUT - Part 2 - EJ rages at Stefano that he has gone too far this time! Stefano sighs and puts down the phone. EJ claps his hands and accuses him of destroying his life. The phoenix denies the charge. He merely wanted to steer Elvis in a better direction. EJ snaps he cost him the woman he loves! Stefano sits and muses he has loved many women, including Nicole. He walked away happily before. EJ yells he does not understand for he is dead inside! Stefano calmly wonders why he cheated with Samantha if he loves Nicole so very much ... - Carrie confesses to Rafe she was just thinking about him. He thinks that is nice, yet she should focus on her baby. Carrie laments she wishes she could be selfish like Sami. Rafe mutters that is not who she is. That is why Austin loves her and he loves her too. Carrie cries the time they spent together at the safe house means more than he will ever know. Rafe whispers he wants to be with her but could never live with himself if he broke up a family. She agrees it is the way it has to be and cries she will not stop loving him. How will she be able to let go? He murmurs it is the only way. She reminds him Salem is a small town. He jokingly offers to become a hermit. She asks him not to be the hero and put his own feelings aside. They both agree this is how it must be. She has a favor and asks him for one last hug. They embrace in front of the pub like a couple of star-crossed lovers who never had a chance to happen. - At the town square, Cam teases Abigail, who praises him for helping with Lexie's patients. He regrets he cannot do more. Abigail reaches out and touches his hand. - Lexie dramatically apologizes for all the misdeeds her criminal father has committed against Bo and Hope. Bo believes that no apology is necessary. They know she is not responsible for any of Stefano's sinister activities. Lexie is relieved, as she was determined to distance herself from the evil of the phoenix. Abe goes to see about the cheesecake. Hope tries to lighten the mood by asking about Theo's interest in hiking. Lexie smiles it is something new. Bo promises her the Brady clan will all be there for Abe and Theo. She confides she is worried about Abe and has been making lists to help him get organized. She now whispers to please make sure Abe does not shut himself away from the world once she is gone. She also hopes they will encourage him to love again if he meets another woman. Hopes cries and promises she will. She and Lexie both dab at their tears with a tissue. - Stefano chuckles that EJ made a choice and is presently looking for someone to blame. EJ concedes he indeed made a mistake. The phoenix suggests perhaps he keeps falling into bed with Samantha because he loves her more and THAT is the real reason Nicole will not give him another chance! - Nicole bumps into Will at the town square. He nervously admits he has upset boss EJ. Nicole advises him to run far from the DiMeras. He only wishes it were so simple. She wonders if he would like to talk. Will takes off. Austin now comes up behind Nicole, excitedly seeking assistance. He wants to surprise Carrie with a maternity outfit before he meets her at the pub. Nicole pleasantly offers to take him to a store. Austin is most grateful. He asks how things are with Rafe. She smiles he will be a great father. Austin is happy for them, though there was a time he wanted to strangle him. Now, however, they are both going to be fathers. Luck, it seems, is on their side. - At the Carver residence, the atmosphere is festive. Bo, Hope, Lexie, and Abe have enjoyed the delicious cheesecake. It is soon time to go. Hope suggests they plan a trip, like the old days. Lexie thinks that sounds nice, then hugs Bo goodbye and tells him to take care of Hope. He gets choked up, sensing this is the last time they will probably see each other. Lexie calls Hope her best friend. Hope starts to cry she loves her and the two women embrace. - EJ wants to know why Stefano did it. "Because Nicole is not for you, my dear boy. Nicole ... she is low class." EJ snaps he has no right to talk about her in such a manner. Stefano notes even William his protégé was glad to help when he decided he must take matters into his own hands. EJ vows they will both pay. Now that he is not his son, why does he even care? The phoenix points out he still wants what is best for him. EJ growls she was the best thing that ever happened to him. He knows Stefano likes to play God, but he is not God, as he believes. Hi is, in fact, THE DEVIL! - Abigail stands up at the town square. She must go to the library to study. Cam is relieved she is not going to a party. She had a good time. So did he. He hopes they can do it again. She would like that. He gives her a peck on the cheek, then kisses her on the lips. He says goodnight. Abigail blinks up at him and bids him goodnight as well. She walks away smiling, with stars in her eyes, as he watchers her with a grin. - Carrie begs Rafe to never forget her. The moment is cut short when Austin and Nicole arrive. Carrie explains she was just feeling emotional. Austin invites Rafe and Nicole to join them. Rafe declines and tells them to go and celebrate their family. They enter the pub, leaving Rafe and Nicole alone outside. Nicole wonders how he is. He says he is okay and watches woefully through the window as Austin presents Carrie with a gift inside. Austin kisses her hand and thanks her for not giving up on him and giving him the chance to be a father. Carrie nods tearfully. Austin steps away for the menus. As Rafe disappears from view, Carrie breaks down and cries for her loss. - At the Carver house, Lexie is trying to act strong, but Abe informs her there is no need to pretend. She sadly whispers her time is almost up, she can feel it, then weeps she is not ready. He holds her as she sobs. - At the town square, Bo and Hope are walking outside as she laments she cannot imagine her friend being gone. She cannot get Stefano out of her mind. It infuriates her that he has robbed them of so much. Bo hugs her and is sure their enemy will get what he deserves. "From your mouth to God's ears," she mutters. Bo now excuses himself to start his shift. If she needs him, she only has to call. Hope tells him she loves him and walks off. Bo looks around and checks the gun in his holster. He then crouches down, out of sight, and checks the gun he also has concealed in his ankle holster. Confident all is in working order, the detective goes on his way ... - Back at the mansion, Stefano has had enough and starts to leave. EJ stops him, determined to have his say. He will make sure Alexandra gets peace in the family as per her request. He takes a step forward. "You destroyed my life, so when the time is right, I'm going to destroy yours!" Stefano scoffs, shakes his head and walks away, leaving EJ standing alone, an ominous look in his eye ... END |
